  1. I have been in and out of Luckyboys like the proverbial dog with two dicks all weekend and it's a lot of fun.  Did look like approx 50-60 guys working there last night (will check again tonight) 3 of my regular Viets work there inc 2 brothers I know well and they both had offs last night.  I offed a very cute Viet and had a great time too.

But it is a very big gogo bar with I'd imagine a serious overhead so as Paul wisely says let's see how it all goes in a few months when the novelty factor and newness has worn off.  Boys are happy and excited at the mo and so are we...but a place like that needs a lot of footfall to sustain it.  Already guys are moving between Luckyboys and Freshboys 2 looking for the best option.

  2. Just a quick note to say really good fun meeting up with both you Michael and Paul again the other night.  Really fun / happy night...great to see you both in action.

Seems like we have very similar tastes in our guys as that was some seriously good eye candy too. Took 2 of my wingmen from Screwboys to DJ station after and we fell out the door at 2am for food...with another lovely HK chinese lad in tow.

Hope you had a fun night with B from Lucky boys...went there again tonight with one of the Viets who sat with you both in Freshboys 2 (it was his request when asked where he wanted to go) and it is fun venue.

Ok back to nursing offmy latest hangover...night all! (Or is it morning...my body clocks a mess)!

  3. Re Screwboys the guy do actually rotate on stage, from back to front and then as they come to the front from left to right, agreed the layout is a compromise...but it adds a certain 'intensity' to that bar (with 30-40 guys) that you'd loose if you flipped it to a single row.  The boys dominate that bar but in a good way, that's why your getting all the attention when you go in there as they know there's plenty of competition for an off so they have to try harder than boys in other bars.  Its edgy and fun once you get into it, and me personally I prefer that vibe to some of the other Twilight bars (or rather former Twilight bars) that feel a bit more sterile to me...but each to their own.

Also if you ask the staff to find you a better seat they will often hustle the boys not on stage who will be lounging around hogging a few seats playing with their delightful anatomy to move.

I actually think the biggest problem is the lighting and a LOT more could be done to improve the feature lighting around the stage plus ambient lighting around the seating which would make life a lot easier, I must admit my eyes struggle to adjust at first when I enter from outside.

I was there tonight for about an hour. The boys were sexy and there were more boys working than in ANY other bar I visited tonight.  Dreamboys was dead with 6 boys on stage. The vibe was good, tons of cute twinks and yes, smoking all over.  I hate smoking but usually don't notice until I leave and have watery eyes (if cute boys inside as that distracts me). ;)

Brilliant, sounds like a fun night...counting down the days now until I return!

  5. If I need a hotel near Silom / Sathorn my preference is usually either

    Furama - Silom or

    Furama - Sathorn

Both are good hotels imho, clean / tidy....Furama Silom Exec rooms are very nice & comfortable plus have a delightful glass enclosed bathroom so you can admire your chosen partner taking a shower should you so wish (there are roller blinds also though for other less eye pleasing bathroom activities).  Both are within walking distance of BTS Chong Nonsi.

Never any issues with joiners and tbh they have barely looked up from the reception desk when I've come back with multiple guys in on day

Bandara Suites I also like and 'might' use next month (I'm suffering from AirBNB fatigue)

I love Screwboys! Over the years, I’ve had several memorable offs with twinks from Screwboys. Quite a number of boys are first timers in Bangkok. After a few months and gaining experience, they move onto the other gogo bars.

As above basically....Screwboys is my 'go to' bar in BKK and I always have fun there, it is a bit more like an 'old skool' type gogo bar but I like that...I'm a non smoker too and it can be a pain but 30-40 cute guys soon make up for that.  Never seen at 'starving' type waifs there but there are a variety of types Viet, Khmer, Laos & Thai...looking forward to being there in 4 weeks time!

  7. As the A447 says above its really about getting to know them over time and it tends to build from there.

Most of the guys I've offed a few times will add themselves into my LINE or Facebook at some point, and we tend to keep in touch via that, with the Viet guys I know...its a mix of knowing that when you return you'll hook up with them again plus their curious as to what your getting up to at home.

Some are better than others, some I might get a message from 1x a month....some 1x a day although it tends to drift back to weekly...but if you've been with them a few times they don't tend to forget.  Example chatting with a guy from Screw-boys the other day and all of a sudden his pal whom I offed from X-Size in April/May & he used to share the room with started using his phone & jumped into the conversation and I didn't see him around on my last trip...but he was keen to chat and I think they like to know you've not forgotten them.

The ones that keep in touch regularly I usually make sure I make an effort to spend some time with on the next trip and they're smart enough to know this too...messages tend to thin out when they're home in Vietnam but that's understandable.

I can and have 'pre-booked' guys via LINE but bit like A447 that tends to be my regular guy who does not work bar so its more like making a plan for when he finishes work etc in the early morning.  For me its tricky to make plans early in the evening in case you end up letting a planned off down cause you spotted some super hot guy who got your heart racing...so I like to keep it a bit fluid.

On balance though I enjoy it as the odd message here and there brightens your day sometimes.

  8. Zoomy02 good point, likewise I rarely get hasstled by boys or mamasans in Screwboys for drinks, if we chose to that's up to us but they appreciate a 100bhat Tip and its more useful & practical to them. They are a fun / playful bunch too when they're in good spirits, the seats by the side of stage are good fun especially when its busy as they hang out there coming on/off stage.

  9. Christian thank you for the financial advice but speaking personally there's more to life than reducing it to numbers on a balance sheet when your having fun...I am not going to discus the 'mechanics' of what I did on x number of offs with you on an open forum.

If your enjoying Pattaya...great, good for you...but stop trying lecture other people of what they should be doing because frankly we don't all share your outlook on the world.  After 20+ years of travelling around Thailand and more than a few trips to Pattaya I have a reasonably good idea or what I enjoy and what I do not.

  10. G-Boys is basically the old X-Size crew and its a nice little bar, but agree it not an ideal location as tucked down that little Soi, hopefully will get more trade after high season as more people learn its actually there!  The boys there are friendly and happy bunch, I have one Viet playmate (brother of another Viet I know) who works there so tend to nip in regularly.

  11. Z909 there's 2 things I could suggest here...

First if you ask quietly and nicely the mamasans in screwboys will quite happily jot you a small note of which numbers (all boys, Khmer, Viet, Thai) will do 'Everything' as they say.  I ask on my first night at the start of each trip and then later when I get back to the condo take a pic of it and keep it in my phone so can discreetly peek at it whilst pretending to check my phone in the bar.  That way I can scan the stage and work out who's the best match whatever I feel like that night.

Second like all mamasans they are a mix, I rely less on them these day and more on my regulars, but the mamasan who usually wears a cap can be relied upon and is honest I've found.  If I want / need info that's who I would ask.

The older Thai mamasan with glasses is more inclined to tell you what he thinks you want to hear and cannot be relied upon as much...had a run in with him on the last trip and had to put him quietly straight the next day...ironically that was after I'd offed a cute Thai boy...lol

  12. Thanks Paul, great meeting your main 'posse' of Viet boys also, really great group you have there...good fun guys but super polite and attentive too.  Had a lot of fun in Maxis and XBoys...highlight of night us talking to Viet Boy S brother of Viet Boy J trying to check how many boys they all shared their room with...

Asking those guys did they really have 5 Viet boys sharing the same room and them miss hearing....quote 'Oh you want 5 boys!!'...brilliant...those lovely Viet eyes widened just a little for moment!

Vinapu its all good fun as they say and we only live once eah, after 5 days at home I'm definitely suffering with BKK deprivation syndrome and checking 'Skyscanner' daily for Xmas / NY flights.

  13. I prefer to use AirBNB these days in BKK whenever possible and have had some great stays in the past, some really amazing views of BKK that I might not have experienced otherwise.

But this last trip I had a bad experience with an AirBNB I'd booked @ Silom Suites condo near BTS Chong Nonsi...the place had way too many things wrong with it (was like a bad DIY in progress) for me to stay...very miss-leaded pics & description...plus was next door to a building site which the owner lied about when I asked him before-hand, so moved out after only 1 night (had booked 4 nights originally).

Ended up getting a last minute deal at Furama Silom for one of their better rooms that came with quite a few perks at a big discount because it was such a late booking.  Managed to just walk from the condo to Furama with my bags (I travel light) so no great drama and was happy once I'd checked in that it was the right thing to do (my regular Viet guy likes their rooms also judging by the amount he manages to sleep in them...lol).  Should thank Paul SF for his advice to take photo's of the condo and then raise the issues with AirBNB afterwards as I got a full refund eventually which effectively paid for Furama.

No issues with trying AirBNB again and will do so at Christmas again for sure, I love the freedom & privacy that having your own condo brings.

  14. Thank you, that's very kind of you...I don't contribute much on here in the way of reports but that was a stand out evening and I felt it was worth a few words.

I'd prefer not to talk too much about the precise details of what we get up to on the forum, but your welcome to drop me a PM...I will say though that with the Viet's I've noticed that once they know you and get comfortable with you they'll give more of themselves to build on the mutual enjoyment.  So with repeat encounters often the 2nd or 3rd encounter is better than the first as they just relax with you more and open up.

On a separate encounter another Viet guy who I've known for a while really surprised me this trip as I thought he was not that into kissing...got back to the room after a fun night in the Khao San rd and he proceeded to show he was one of the best kissers I'd encountered in some time, but he was very happy and bubbling / relaxed.

  15. Ha Tinh' is a region of Vietnam where a lot of the Viet boys in Silom seem to come from, Reader is correct there is a definite look...and for the most part they are very hot imho !!!

Bit like Thai Issan boys from Udon Thani tend to have a distinctive look too...also hot!

  16. The boys in Screwboys often tend to pull on their street clothes & duck out (if not sitting with customer) when its show time so they can get something to eat at the nearby food stalls, what you saw was them piling back in as the shows ending.

The waiter was dumb to say that to your friend as most of those guys in there would be happy with 2000 ST / 3000 LT (overnight)...its quieter at the moment so that waiter did them no favours.

  17. Screwboys was absolutely crammed full of boys (30-40) when I visited there several times between the 25 May & 4th June also...all bar one night when a load of Viets were making a visa run...its quite a sight when at certain points in the night they're all on stage as its not a huge stage really...pulsating mass of hot bodies (about 50-60% of them Viet which suits me).

One night when I arrived late I ended up on the couch to one side of the stage...near the entrance to the toilets and its actually quite a good spot as you can check them all out side on and get great interaction as they're coming on & off stage.  Most nights saw a few boys get offed but they did complain its slow...but at same time plenty of drink tips still.

I have a couple of regular Viets in there that tend to home in on me like an Exocet missile when I walk in, so feel obliged to buy at least one a drink...its all a game but they play it well...its fun & gets them some food money even if you don't off someone.

What number was the boy that your HK guy was waiting for so patiently?

  18. I am hearing reports from my small tribe of Viets that the cops are intensifying their 'hasstle' of them thru April, a few have gone home until May already.  One Viet guy I know from Screwboys has been busted 2x, sounds like they came into the bar whilst he was working and took him away.

Does anyone have any other updates? I'm there next month so hoping its calmed down a bit by then.
