I really like that hotel too, nice rooms, friendly staff & good location...I think they are slowly trying to refurb it over time
The distance from Silom is just about right for me, helps keep my steps up...usually walk into Sala Daeng in the early evening than taxi home at night

Day 12 (BKK)
It was late morning when I crawled out of my ‘pit’ and finished packing whilst ‘K’ slept a bit more, taxi arrived around 1pm and whisked me back up to BKK after some nice goodbye hugs from ‘K’ and requests not to forget him. Halfway to BKK the heavens opened which slowed progress a bit but I’d rather get there in one piece than in the back of an Ambulance! For my last 3 nights I’d booked The Bandara Suites as a safe bet plus fairly close to Silom. Suites are excellent value and great size @ 55sqm, kitchenette & separate bedroom means they feel more like a serviced condo to me.
I summarily rejected the first suite they offered me as wrong style sofa, ask for the ‘L Shaped’ ones as better for lounging around on with your partner of choice, they moved me to a higher floor…but next suite had a whiff to the AC. So after a minor hissy fit & a visit from the apologetic French manager they moved me again to the top floor of the building and same style suite but great views so I settled in.
Shower and quick nap and then it was up and out heading to Freshboys 2, couple of Viets I knew ‘B’ (huge cock) & ‘S’ on stage, the little cute Khmer boy from Day 2 was trying to catch my eye but I was’nt biting. Couple of others including a rather handsome Myanmar guy caught my eye, gorgeous swimmers type bod but the night was young so resisted the serious temptation…dispensed some Tips to ‘S’ & Myanmar guy then headed to Lucky boys.
Luckyboys usual cracking line-up for me, fairly quickly I was spotted by ‘B2’ from stage (my guy from Day 3) and he broke out in a big smile and was visibly bubbly. My usual Viet mama with her eagle eyes pounced on me and asked me who I wanted…knew I’d been looking at ‘B2’ and I said I was just thinking. Her reply ‘don’t think too much…just do it & have fun as the boy wants you too’ so called him over and after 5 mins of admired those taught pecs and tanned ‘pocket twink’ style muscles my mind was made up. Check bin, tips dispensed…informed mama that Paul SF was due the next week and her face lit up with delight! Then headed for the exit, asked ‘B2’ where to next and he suggested ‘Ratchada night market’…I’ve taken him to the Khao San road a few times before so think this was another take on it from him.
Good fun night wandering around taking it all in, it’s a bit calmer than the Khao San but still nice place to go hangout for the evening, we headed for some upstairs bar for drinks, left B2 to sort the drinks…now bearing in mind this guy has 2 small beers and goes red / gets drunk (very low tolerance to alcohol) he ordered up 3 big Chang’s from the menu, not from greed but was like a multi-deal type thing (him trying to save me money). I smiled but to be fair didn’t stop him…the results as could have been safely predicted were interesting! ‘B2’ went from sober to mau mau in the space of an hour but we got some food and soldiered on, by now his face & shoulders were going red from the beer though…lol.
Back to Silom in a taxi after a while, B2 dozing off in the back semi drunk from Chang and me just chilled out relaxed, headed from Screwboys for a late drink and to say hello to ‘W’ (my guy from Day 1)…my timing was crap though as was show-time but headed for the corner seats by the loos and got chatting to a few boys who came over to say hello to ‘B2’. Found ‘W’ when I visited the toilet along with half the rest of their guys…quite intense being surrounded by a bevy of hot guys in those striped blue/white pants. ‘W’ looked damn too with a nice shaved side’s fresh Viet style haircut and rocking his own pocket lightly muscled twink look. ‘B’ and ‘W’ had a couple of non-alcohol drinks and swapping gossip, probably feeding more info back to the Viet boys CIA (they know everything I’ve concluded over time). Then we headed back to the condo and enjoyed a nice sexy couple of hours, ‘B’ does not do the magic everything…but what he does he does well and enjoys his fun so a good time was had by all.
By then was getting on to the early hours so sent him home as know he prefers to sleep in his own bed but still tipped him my full LT rate as we’d started out fairly early that evening and had a great night…off into the early morning went a sleepy / happy Viet boy .
S’ the Viet from Freshboys 2 dropping me notes on messenger…no customer or money for room etc so of course being the good Samaritan I was he was duly invited to come over in the afternoon to discuss world Geo-Politics and other such important matters…I can’t do overnights with ‘S’ as he snores (rather loudly!)…made that mistake once but not again!
Bedtime…alone for me but happy from my days work!
Day 13 (BKK)
Woke up earlier than usual and with a definite case of ‘morning wood’ decided to see if the Apps could offer any solutions to my predicament. Within 30 minutes was chatting to a Thai boy ‘K’ on Blue’d, freelance MB, very hot guy…did the usual compare notes…Gay = tick, Both = tick
So duly invited over and 1 hour later bang on time he turned up, very cute in person, great English and appeared to be reasonably well travelled, had lived in a few other countries before with previous BF’s. After a bit of chat he stepped things up a gear and as both already fresh from showers the clothes went flying and OMG the boy had a cock as wide as Thai style cola can, the damn thing nearly gave me lock jaw! Nice but busy hour followed , ‘K’ was definitely a happy Both / power Bottom type, fairly business like but good fun still. We both depleted our supplies of Vitamin D and rested from the effort, cleaned up…tipped him ST as agreed plus bit of taxi money and sent him on his way. What a great way to get the day going…I do love Bangkok!
‘S’ the Viet did a no show but I later found out he was a little sick and had just slept in that day so no problem, boys need their rest.
Headed out early evening and after a quick pit stop for fuel in Foodland met up with Michael in Screwboys, there‘s a mini-report here:-
I’ll expand on after I got back to Silom though as ended up in a small beer bar near Screwboys & Freshboys, ‘S’ the Viet was having a beer there with a few Viet pals & called out to me as I walked past , invited me to sit down. Drinks were cheap @ 100bhat each or 140bhat for waiter so I got a round in for the 4 of us, they just wanted to drink & chill, chat and was a nice easy evening surrounded by some sexy guys. The beers flowed and another round followed, by then a couple of other Viet boys ‘B’ & ‘B’ from Freshboys upstairs had joined them…the guys were getting mau now and frisky with a few wandering Viet paws much to my delight. Then I realized it was getting near 1.30am (how did that happen) so messaged ‘W’ in Screwboys to see if he wanted me to come in and off him. W’ wasn’t picking up his messages so ‘S’ took my phone (to help me) and called him on voice messenger, think told him where I was in Viet and I was duly instructed to wait there. Good tip…don’t argue with the Viets when they’re busy organizing your off with their pal…lol
Just before 2am came the boys pulled down the steel shutters around the bar but basically just carried on…so now I was in a smallish space with 6 hot Viet guys all lightly dressed with them getting mau, cigarette smoke wafting around…it’s getting warmer too with the shutters down so quite nice / intense atmosphere, suspect if I hadn’t already selected a partner for the rest of the night I’d have had no shortage of choice! But tbh the boys were just happy chilling and drinking / relaxing after work having fun and really nice to see, way better use of money than gogo bar drinks. One of the shutters went up for a few moments and ‘W’ stepped in smiling & looking bemused at me drinking with his pals, probably bit worried if I was ‘behaving myself’ as said to me afterwards couldn’t believe how relaxed I was…my reply…yeah cause I was just enjoying it all. So another round of beers and they were just chattering away amongst themselves and with me.
Funny as they were kind of ‘probing’ me where they had me cornered…’why do I like Viet boys’ type questions etc but all good natured fun, just curious really. Think we settled up the bill around 3am and wasn’t earth shattering….maybe around 1600bhat for a few rounds of drinks for 4-6 boys in the middle of Silom , they actually didn’t want drink Tips (their words) as was kind of their idea…but I tipped waiter & ‘S’ anyway which got a nice thank you for making a happy time with his friends from ‘S’ he apologized for not coming to see me earlier that day and whispered quietly he wanted to come over tomorrow. Think ‘W’ heard him still as he smiled too, but they’re both good friends and no jealousy so all good.
Bailed out with ‘W’ and headed back to Bandara, just lolled around on the sofa for a while then nice long hot / soapy shower together, it’s like ‘playtime’ with those guys when you add in hot water and shower gel, nice session getting thoroughly reacquainted afterwards then just dozed off, me with a couple of Viet arms and paws firmly wrapped around me…probably making sure I didn’t try escape to the beer bar again!

For me LT is usually overnight and if its someone new to me I always just say 'overnight'...so when they wake up and want to (eventually) depart...that's it over.
Some sleep till 9am
Some sleep till 1pm
Some sleep till 4pm !!! (but that was after a very heavy night at the disco)
My regulars will just prowl around the condo usually watching TV or borrowing my tablet till the afternoon sometimes (up to them)...unless I have another 'guest' due

Oh its ok really (I'm joking), if I wake up and have been nudged too far over I just slip out of bed and climb back in the other side...most of them sleep very soundly so i'll just leave them to it if I rise first in the morning, best to let them wake up naturally...couple of the Viets can do 8-10 hours easy.
Earlier in the year around Songkran when we had that crazy heat in Thailand they were asking for LT (overnight) rather than ST as knew they could sleep better in a nice climate controlled room and like you...I enjoy their company.

He's usually pretty good tbh, if I doze off first he'll chat with his pals in BKK (but usually waits till I'm asleep before he does that) where everyone goes to bed in Hanoi a bit earlier & his former bar-boy pals are still awake.
More often than not I wake up to find a Viet arm, paw or leg draped over me so no complaints from me...biggest problem is usually them 'hogging' the bed...usually I end up with about 1/3rd of it if I'm lucky! lol

As the above poster...its a mix of both really, that pic looks like early evening to me so more Khmers & Lao, the Thai's rock up later to work and the Viets bit later still
Just to confuse things some of those guys start off on the Twinkier side of things, hit the Gym and build themselves up a bit into 'Pocket hunks' which can be rather nice

B2 sometimes swaps messages for an hour or so with pals in BKK whilst I'm having snooze, which is fine as I usually wake to find him wrapped around me again). Think I woke up and went to the loo & found him like that (he's actually sound asleep)...the facial recognition on the phone was keeping it on until I moved it to the bedside...lol

Disease of boys playing games on , alter all paid by us time , needs to be fought politely and firmly. I do the same and pay boy agreed tip but next time he would be looking for an off from me I'd tell him in plain language , no , because I don't want you to play games like last time or if I was keen of having him again , I'd tell him to leave phone on the bed when leaving it.
I regret I did not do it to one of my offs last trip caught watching movie in the toilet on his phone while I was left to fend off ghosts myself.
It can be done as Z , my 4 times LT off proved, while he left bed from time to time , his phone never did. Who said today's youth don't have work ethic ? It's our duty to show them what it is .
Hey no problem Vinapu, I've just got to try get my last 3 days in BKK drafted up to wrap it up (was hectic but fun)...I'm definitely missing Vietnam in general and hope to be back there before the end of the year.
And yes he just went to far with his phone, it was rude, he's messaged me a few times in LINE since (doesn't seem to quite 'get it') but there will be no re-match that much I can promise.
I think the ones that have been brought up well by their parents leave it in their pockets or wait until your doing something else (just good manners really).

I appreciate you meant well by sharing those Twitter pics...but do wonder sometimes about people who take pics of other customers in gogo bars & then post them on Twitter, they're blurry but i can still recognize the boy sat with him (Laos friend of mine)

Day 11 (Hanoi & Pattaya)
We both woke late morning as suitably exhausted from the previous night’s exertions, I’d booked myself on the afternoon flight from Hanoi to Bangkok so didn’t have to rush around early and get stressed (been there before & it usually creates rows). Nice just relaxing on the bed chatting, no great rush to do anything. B2 then declares he’s hungry ‘little bit’ which as we all know translates as:- ‘feed me quick before I turn into a hungry monster’ so off to the local restaurant in our street for a couple of bowls of steaming Pho and more of those amazing Hanoi spring rolls to round off our stay. By now B2 with his gregarious / fun personality had charmed the waitress plus the owner’s wife so they were all chatting away in Viet like long lost friends.
Someone did ask B2 who I was the other night when we went to get massages and he told me afterwards he told the lady masseur I was his BF (not technically true as that would have been his brother at one time out of the pair of them). Nice though that he described it that way and had the will power to say it, not easy in his country.
He ordered up another one of his Avocado shakes (new one on me), odd looking concoction…but did taste delicious. He rang the company who were picking him up in their mini-van route and turned out with the rain 2 nights before part of the road between Ha-Tinh and Hanoi had been flooded so no mini-van’s today. He said no problem and later he’d go visit a Viet friend in hospital and stay overnight in a cheap local hotel he’d used previously when waiting for me to arrive.
Tidied up the condo and finished our packing, I’d sorted him out his Tips for his time as my guide the night before plus added in another lump for being good fun and covered hotel first night & bus’s to / from Hanoi so he was very happy. He passed on some good wishes from his papa who it turns out wants me to visit Ha-Tinh next time (that should get a ‘reaction’ from my ex…lol), we kissed (he knows how to kiss well for a Viet) & hugged in the condo and then headed out for the lift, street and my waiting taxi at the end of the street. Gave B2 a last wave and then I was headed to the airport, nice steady trail of messages from him, seemed genuinely grateful that I’d made the effort to come.
Airport was a relaxed / efficient affair again, it’s reasonably modern and big but functions more smoothly than some London airports I could mention. This time I just took my one big bag on as hand luggage to avoid the ‘tax’ Vietnam airlines charge you (1500-2000 per bag / per journey in the hold) as noticed last time most people doing the same. Slung my small bag over my back and they said nothing at check-in. Only minor drama was I pulled all my toiletries out before hand for the X-ray and to be fair they let all thru except I forgot about 1 can of compressed air type deodorant. Some ‘Superdry’ type smelly that B2 loved funnily enough (said he wanted to ‘eat me’ every time I used it so I guess the smell must appeal to Viets…mental note to buy a SHIT load more when I get home). Anyway that was the only thing that got tossed in the bin by a very apologetic security type.
A mildly suspicious peer at my passport by the immigration guy who asked how many days I’d been in country (test question of course…as he knew from the incoming stamp already), but he got the right answer so on I skipped.
Departures by the gates again were a nice affair, lots of little modern café type setups (great food and very reasonably priced…unlike the extortionate piss takes that is Heathrow Terminal 2!). My section (by my gates) looked out over the Apron tarmac so nice views of jets wheeling too & fro. I foolishly had one last Viet coffee and the damn thing nearly blew my head off….Jesus! they do know how to make an intense coffee in the north…but was a fitting goodbye to this quiet but intense country.
Flight was bang on time both take-off and landing, bagged an exit seat again so comfy, I’d pre-booked a taxi with a company I knew in sin city and he was waiting for me at Gate 5 when I came thru arrivals, must admit carrying on all your bags is great for a short flight as I was less than 30 minutes from landing to in the taxi speeding towards Pattaya.
My main reason for heading back, was there were a couple of guys I’d promised to see plus catch up with ColmX for a couple days. Arrived back at the same condo complex as last time but this time got a much better condo, probably the best I’ve ever stayed in there so off to good start! After a powernap and early evening and the rain started up so hooked up with ColmX and we headed to Boyztown both clutching brollies (very manly…lol), I think did the rounds of Boyztown to check out the local offerings. For me personally…from where I’d just come from…this was a bit depressing tbh, Toyboys was quiet and only needed some elevator music to complete the feeling of boredom.
Cupidol bit more interesting but I was actually hunting for a cute Laos boy whom I’d spotted there on my previous last night in Patts (had the most outrageous cruisy ‘come to bed’ eyes that had both myself and ColmX handing over red notes the previous occasion as fast as we could get them out of our wallets). But of course…’boy not work tonight’ came the dreaded reply. No matter I had his Hornet so messaged him up, hoping for a reply later. ColmX headed off to see Vessey and I decided to go find ‘K’ in X-Boys (my 50/50 Viet/Thai boy) from last time. ‘K’ was there but basically could not be persuaded to do the magic ‘everything’ that night (he’s more Top) so having a minor grump/sulk I headed off and left him to it.
Ended up in Silapin Issan with Colm-X again which was half full and seemed to be a couple of Ladyboy’s birthdays going on, tried to get into the vibe but just was not in the mood despite the best attempts of several friends. Think I was just having a sulk over my plans being thwarted for 2 guys I was interested in, so in true child-like manner I said goodnight then bailed out and headed back to the condo….ALONE (shock horror!).
A quick hunt of the Apps threw up nothing that gave me ‘stirrings’ but I threw a few messages out to a couple of my regulars and then dozed off on the very comfy bed….ALONE (double shock horror / disgust).
Day 11 (Pattaya)
Woke up early and feeling rested after a quiet night I promptly fired up the Apps and low & behold the cute Laos boy had replied to my messages. I think early afternoon we exchanged a few more and once the basics were sorted out (he’s a Bottom etc) he wanted to come over after he finished his studies in the afternoon.
Turned out he was studying every day how to cut / style hair (50K course over 5 months) and some basic beauty type treatments in Pattaya during the daytime and then working massage in the evenings or sometimes Cupidol to fund it all. Smart lad..actually using his money to do something that will give him a real job down the line.
N the Laos boy came over mid-afternoon, as cute as I remembered from seeing him on stage, very friendly lad with great English, bit of chat to & fro…then he asked to use the shower so we were game on. Great kisser and delightfully lithe swimmers type body, typically for Laos quite sensual in bed (climbing all over me) and was defo more of a ‘Power Bottom’ (makes me wonder what the Viets would be like if they were all Buddhists tbh…mad for it one suspects!). We spent another hour testing out the various positions and doing our best to check the integrity of the condo’s furniture, then both collapsed onto the bed in a sweaty pile with streaks of astro-glide here and there from our efforts. Got another lovely long kiss off him and we both headed to the showers to clean up.
Chatted a bit afterwards and he asked if he could see me again tomorrow but I said I thought I was headed back to BKK but we’d see what happens. Off he headed a happy Laos boy with a healthy ST tip in his back pocket.
After that needed another nap to get myself back together….woke up a couple of hours later to some messages in LINE from a Thai boy in Sunnee that I’d chatted to before. Turned out the lad worked Nice boys which is not normally my first port of call when hunting for an off but he had a nice bod and seemed polite enough so called him over.
He arrived the condo on time, but where the Laos boy before had been calm and very sexy…this guys was more hectic and bit hyper, another game obsessed phone addict too! Bit of polite chit / chat in between him playing his video game and then he excused himself to go toilet / shower….then followed an odd 20 minutes where I could just hear the ‘dings & dongs’ from his game coming from the bathroom but a distinct lack of running water! Went in to see what was going on and the boys sat there on the damn loo playing his game, I politely told him to get busy and 5 minutes later heard loo flushing, followed by the joyous sounds of the bum gun and then a running shower.
After this I was mildly irritated though so showered fairly swiftly myself and decided to turn it into a ‘fuck & go’ type session, to be fair the guy delivered all that was promised in the bedroom but it just felt a bit ‘off key’ to me but funnily enough he did enjoy getting fucked and seemed to turn from a str8’ish type boy into yet another power bottom.
We both cleaned up, and I tipped him all as agreed up front but I was kinda half glad to wrap the encounter up, just felt a bit edgy…not my usual type of off.
Mid evening by then so I headed out and caught up with ColmX in boyztown and then after mulling it over decided to go see ‘K’ in XBoys again, I didn’t really want to leave it on the note I’d done last night (not my way). We had a chat with his mamasan keeping an eye on things as she knew I wasn’t happy the night before. I basically said…look don’t worry about Bottoming (as I’d had 2 already that day) but would be good if you stayed over-night as I’m checking out the next morning. K has the time old issue of being custodian of the room key for him and pal, now mama picked up on this at some point and spoke to him in machine gun style Thai (you know when they’re telling them to do something). K went pulled his top & trousers on, asked me to wait X-Boys for 5 mins whilst he shot out. Me bit confused said ok then Mama explained she’d told him to go give his room key to his pal to ensure no issues tonight….who says mamasan’s can’t be useful…lol
Once he came back and nodded all was good I cleared the bill tipped mama and we headed off to meet up with Colm-X, Vessey and their respective entourages (about 9+ people in total!) near the entrance to Walking street. Think we ended up in Silapin Issan and to be fair was a much more fun than night before, boys were happy and whiskey flowing. I was drooling slightly over one of Vessey’s previous off’s from Nice boys who turned up also…to be fair was a gorgeous looker…now why couldn’t I have found him this afternoon I wondered….lol.
K was getting sleepy so we headed home after a few hours and proceeded to re-discover each other bodies and leave some vitamin D deposits on them. He’s just a sexy ‘nice’ Thai boy next door type, not rocket fuel filled or mad for it like some, just a genuinely ‘nice boy’ and frankly there’s a lot to be said for that sometimes.
Had a nice shower together, the condo has a big walk-in type that you could probably organize a small orgy in if you so choose, lathering him up was pretty special too and nice way to wind up my stay in Pattaya, we both dozed after that and slept peacefully till the morning.

555 yes that's a very true statement, high end Pattisserie like that is a bit of an art form really, I'd imagine a fair bit of love went into producing that lot
B2 indulged himself but he has a washboard stomach and a 6 pack any guy would be proud of plus was on holiday

To be fair I think you've got a point there as there's more wheat in their diet as well as Rice vs. say Thai. If you look when they start hitting the gym they get toned / built / six packs really quickly too.
Banh Mi shops & stalls on every street corner...we went for a walk and found a street with a batch of serious French Patisserie shops too (not so good for the figure...but very nice), its like they're taken the bits of French culture they liked and adopted it as their own.

I 'think' I spotted the guy your talking about #45 back in April...your description rings a bell & he was definitely a Viet, nice light muscular build / swimmers bod...I did not see him there on my last trip though but as Vinapu says above, more fun to go look.

Yes I think a lot of the North is Catholic from what I've seen / heard and they're very passionate about their religion too, took the ex BF to the Khao San rd one time and he bought a large picture of the Pope...then proceeded (to my slight horror) to set it up on a bedside table! I had to hide it when he wasn't looking as felt like the dear Pontif was watching me as I was having my wicked way with him!

Day 9 (Hanoi)
We both got up late morning, ‘B’ likes his 8 hours sleep but after that he’s usually up & running so a good companion on trips away. After making use of the walk-in shower together and a bit of mild playtime, both felt hungry so went hunting for somewhere new for breakfast. Just walked around until we spotted an interesting small restaurant. Jesus the coffee in the North is nice but soooo STRONG.
We just went for a wander around afterwards and found ourselves back at the Cathedral again which funnily enough had a Sunday service on, I suggest ‘B’ go in (get his RC fix) and I just lurked at the back watching proceedings…I doubt there’s enough time in those confession booths for me to run over my myriad of sins! It was good for him as he went and sat down said a few prayers and dropped something in the donation box, think he took a couple of discreet pics too to keep the family at home happy.
Afterwards I queried if he wanted a haircut / style and being the former BKK boy he was got a prompt affirmative and we went back to our little street and found a small shop run but a bevy of cute Viet guys and with AC for me to cool down, was getting damn hot after the rain showers. Gave me a chance to eye up his stylist (damn cute!!) and of course keeps ‘B’ happy. He looks hotter with shorter hair imho, went for the classic Viet shaved sides and then bit more styled on top.
After about an hour & a few thousand Don later we headed off for an afternoon shower / nap. I emerged from the shower to find him ‘pulling himself off’ (to use an English expression) buck naked on the couch…clearly feeling horny again so the towels went flying and I did my best to assist his aroused condition which ended up with a nice couple puddles of Vitamin D on his lovely 6 pack. Have a feeling he was taking advantage of being away from the family to get as much sex as possible (probably difficult in a shared family home in Ha-Tinh I dare say)…who am I to object!
Great thing about the old quarter is there’s a lot you can see just by walking around on foot so a few hours later we headed out and went to the lake and just wandered around soaking it all up. Seemed to be very popular place with the Vietnamese families on Sunday in general to go hang-out there (few pics below).
Dinner in the local restaurant in our street, then over to the Café by the cathedral for some Ice Cream smoothies and drinks on the Terrace, great place to hang-out at night…seems popular with the younger locals especially.
The day ended with us just wrapped around each other and both feeling relaxed & content.
Day 10 (Hanoi)
Kicked off the day with a Video call from ‘B’s family in Ha-tinh, his dad was online first and at some point I got asked to speak to him so I seem to have been ‘declared’ to them, I could see the family joining dad peeping at me so I guess our little trip to Hanoi had got some excitement back home. ‘B’ seemed to be slowly drip feeding them the truth until today we were just both lounging around talking to them (with him translating for me).
After breakfast I suggested we go buy something for his dad so he had something to take home to him, think Dad asked for a ‘warm jacket’ at first and after a fruitless search of several shops with numerous offerings being rejected (his dad’s not into fake ‘The North Face’ jackets which seem to feature VERY heavily out there). We then tried to find some local Tea and after a bit of a hunt and ‘B’ asking some locals for advice we ended up in a smaller / quieter street that seemed to have shops selling Tea / Coffee in bulk…quite interesting and the sort of place I would never found without ‘B’ helping me.
A couple of large packs / different types of Tea procured we headed off to lurk in the shade of a funky looking local coffee shop, coffee culture here could put some parts of East London to shame…lots of young Vietnamese just hanging out enjoying time together.
A pal of ‘B’ also from Ha-Tinh was on the bus to due to arrive later that day and wanted to meet up with him that night so we decided not to travel to far from base until he landed. Said pal ‘Viet B2’ turned up late afternoon looking a tad hot and bothered after his journey, I remembered him from about 15 months ago in Screwboys (he’d gone home), another very handsome lad, polite and quite gregarious. B2 ducked into the shower and came out later showing off his very nice footballers style upper body and washboard ABS, looked like he’d grown a bit since his bar days but very striking boy, he prowled around the condo a bit and nodded his approval to ‘B’.
So appears I’m entertaining 2 handsome Viet boys tonight…after a quick check both were hungry and we marched out looking for a restaurant, B2’s eyes were scanning everywhere, don’t think he’d stayed in the Old Quarter before. I rashly told them to pick the restaurant for dinner, so after wandering a couple of streets B2 picked out some fairly upscale French / Viet place, the dinners looked like the more well-heeled end of Hanoi and we headed upstairs where there was more space.
B2 was up for a beer which was good with me as B was on a dry month so my previous 2 days had been dry too and a drinking partner was welcomed.
Heineken’s duly emptied (rather rapidly) whilst B quaffed his shake and we ordered up another round, dinner arrived and to be fair was pretty damn amazing, really nice French / Viet fusion type dishes. The boys ordered up some type of local sweet / sour soup too and it was game on, actually really nice just seeing them both chow down.
Asked the boys where they wanted to go after & both said Cathedral so off we went in search of more evening drinks and a nice Terrace to chill on, them of course doing their social media thing (good face for friends at home). B2 was quite inquisitive asking about me either directly or via ‘B’, he said he remembered me from 15 months ago when he worked Screw-boys (I never offed him back then). Got the feeling they were up to something and at some point over a 3rd or 4th round of Heinekens B2 looked at me coyly and then spoke to B in Viet, B then smiled and declared to me that quote ‘next time B2 go with you’…I nearly spluttered back up my last glug of Heineken…where the f**k did that come from then I thought? They seem to have just decided it by themselves…lol (typically Viet). Pimped out yet AGAIN! Did get me smiling inside though…lol…did my best to look coy (very very badly).
B2 had to get back to his campus as studying in Hanoi so we bailed out early and headed back to the condo first, I left them to gossip a bit (probably plotting god knows what for me!). B2 headed off to his campus after a nice hug and genuine thank you for the dinner, said he felt very happy with his friend…good enough for me.
Showered and then to bed with my horny guide whom I spent the next hour trying to satisfy and putting a dent in my supply of ‘Astroglide’. Both dozed off feeling happy and relaxed I also got a nice thank you from ‘B’ for the evening before sleep, I just said no problem and I knew it was a special night for them both.

No sorry...my suite did not have one, pretty much everything else though as in full size fridge / freezer (not one of those silly mini units), couple of electric rings on the cooker (not that I ever cook in Thailand), Kettle & Expresso / Latte machine etc
If you walk about 7-8 minutes from Bandara to around the back of Central there's a large laundry place that I found there and used, but its like 200bhat min then as much as you want up to a certain weight (was a few Kg) so I used that...just found it on Google maps nearby
