Yes. Handsome hunks are not common at Freshboy. If a handsome hunk happens to work there, it's usually for brief period of time before he moves to other bars.

@jason1975 Never been to the bars you've mentioned. Is Joy Zone a typical go-go place like Jupiter, Dreamboy etc? Midnight is a simply a regular bar serving alcohol?

Joy Zone is a cabaret show bar like those in Pattaya. No boys available for offs.

Yes. Most of its waiters are Myanmar and they speak excellent English. You can buy them drinks and you can off them as well.

Back in Bangkok for this weekend!

Late arrival Thai Airways plane 45 minutes but once landed, time from getting off plane to taking airport train 20 minutes only (mostly because of long distance between gate and immigration).

Good that e-gates are opened to more countries! But still many many tourists have to queue and use manual method. Probably their passports ineligible for e-gate.

They also may have never been to Thailand on their current passport, or a member of their party has not been to Thailand on their current passport.

Staying at Raya because Quarter Silom prices have shot up (probably due to gay Chinese here during China Golden Week holiday). I swore I selected the cheapest room on Agoda - US$40 per night. But I got assigned this spacious family room on 7th floor!

Sarika is back! And it looks really classy! Shall eat there tomorrow with forum member.

My previous weekend trip was in July. I didn't come to Bangkok for two months in August and September. In fact, it was supposed to be no more trips for rest of 2026 until 2 week Christmas holiday in December. But I happened to be able to take a day off in October and timing coincided with two forum members being in Bangkok at same time. And to add more pull factor, my guy is back from Vietnam after overseeing majority of construction of his house for his parents and family. He was supposed to be back in end November but he decided on coming back before 15 September date when 60 day visa-free stay is cut down to 30 days. So he is currently able to stay till mid November and by then he would have applied for a one year work visa. Apparently, the one year work visas is only open for application from November to April every year.

I was supposed to meet my guy at 3pm but due to the flight delay, I could only arrive one hour later. So 4pm my guy and I got reacquainted at Raya Hotel - a place where we got to know each other 10 years ago when Soi Twilight was still in existence. We had a creative and fun time with the extra space and extra bed in the family room that the hotel had upgraded me to. After we washed up, we were hungry so we walked to Silom Complex with the intention to eat Singapore chicken rice. Unfortunately, the eatery has closed so we ended up having hotpot at MK Kitchen. 800 baht for 2 persons.

That looks great! And so cheap compared to Tokyo!

After eating hotpot, it was back to room to rest. When night arrived, I spent time catching up with guys at Midnight and Good Boy bars. We played pool at the small pool table bar and eventually ended the night with supper at Foodland and invited some friends to join us before my guy and I went back to Raya Hotel for the night.

I was at Good Boy buying drinks for the 3 Vietnamese guys who worked. Including them, only 15 guys working on a Friday night. Two or three cuties. But I couldn't possibly buy them drinks since I was with the Viet contingent. There are around 8 Viet guys working regularly at Good Boy. The other Viet guys either went back Vietnam, decided not to work that night or had customer pre-booking. One of the 3 guys whom I sat with complained that he didn't have an off for 2 weeks. Later in the night, I found out from his 2 friends that he got offed after I left the bar!
