Weekends in Bangkok 2026

I woke up at 8am. I was hungry but I waited another half hour before waking my guy up for breakfast. Breakfast spread at Quarter Silom was good enough for me. Not as extensive a variety like in Le Meridien but better than Raya. I had 2 rounds of food while my guy insisted he was full after finishing one plate of food. I believe he is trying to lose weight so as not to appear flabby when he stands next to younger guys on stage in his bar.

Not many hotel guests at Quarter Silom breakfast. There was a family with two kids, two sets of gay couples (Taiwanese and Malaysian) and three guests on their own. I was expecting to see overnight boys and the only one was my guy! My guy and I played chess while we ate. Then it was back to room for sex. After we showered, I got ready to go out for shopping. I switched off all lights and I tucked my guy into bed. We agreed that he would sleep the rest of morning and afternoon until 3pm.

I used to do shots of Sambuca, A drop of grenadine and Baily's Irish Cream floating on top- Called a slippery nipple, the Baily's would coat your throat so the sambuca wouldn't burn as much.....

I exited Quarter Silom by the side entrance towards soi 6 and walked to BTS then went shopping. 2 hours later, I came back to hotel room to put my shopping purchases quietly and making sure not to wake my guy up. I met forum member at hotel lobby and we had lunch at Derby King, foot massage at Green Massage (by guys who wear orange polo T-shirts!) and walked one round around Silom and Surawong area. We saw Sarica under renovation and Hook Up bar which had replaced Side. Unfortunately they open only at 4pm and it was only 3pm when we walked past. We also observed a new branch of Togayther Hotel being readied at Patpong next to Chaichana Massage. Next to Voco hotel, the wall hoarding covering the construction had finally come down. I had expected it to be another new hotel but surprise surprise it's Healthland! They have taken over an entire building! Lots of changes for second half of 2026!

Forum member went back to hotel room to take a rest while I caught up with some friends for coffee. At 4:15pm I rushed back to hotel. I woke my guy up and we got changed into sports attire. We were going to mass aerobics at Lumpini Park at 5pm. We waited at lobby for forum member. I managed to convince him to join us! As we were about to leave hotel, my guy spotted a Vietnamese friend walking past towards the gym. He went to say hi and found out that his friend (who formerly worked at his bar but now currently works at massage shop in nearby soi 6) is going to hotel gym. He has a gym membership there. My guy was intrigued and keen on getting a gym membership for himself. "We come back later after exercise," I said to my guy.

Forum member, my guy and I joined the mass aerobics exercise at Lumpini Park. On weekends, there's only one session from 5pm to 6pm unlike weekdays when there's two sessions from 6pm to 8pm. My guy was initially shy and wanted to be at the side but I dragged him to the middle of the courtyard where forum member and I were standing. Forum member seemed to enjoy the aerobics and so did my guy once he got over the awkwardness of being surrounded by hundreds of aunties. I estimate the number of guys to be not more than 50. To be honest, I didn't enjoy today's session because I did not like the instructor. She was an auntie conducting the aerobics session alone by herself and her steps were repetitive and not creative. There are different instructors who rotate the duties every day. My favourite is the lady instructor who's always accompanied by 2 guys and one is a cutie hunk daddy.

At 5:20pm, it started raining heavily suddenly and everyone ran for cover under the trees or for the snacks building. Forum member brought an umbrella so he sheltered me as he walked to the MRT station entrance. My guy, being all manly, walked in the rain. In fact, he was enjoying himself and even filmed himself soaked in the rain. We walked to the BTS from the MRT and saw that the rain got even heavier. We decided to take shelter at Silom Edge. We went to basement food court where there were tables and chairs for us to rest for the next half hour until the rain stopped.

My guy's shoes were totally soaked. He wanted to go back to his room and wear his sandals for the rest of the night. I said ok. See you later. He took a motorcycle taxi along Silom Road while forum member and I walked back to Quarter Silom.

It was so much fun! and the sudden deluge, whilst inconvenient, was actually quite funny as we were all running for shelter lol

As we walked into soi 6 towards Quarter Silom, we passed by the massage shops. A Vietnamese guy from Sun Massage called out to me. He had massaged me last year. It was a so-so affair but I like his smile and cheerful personality. He is the younger brother of Handsome Guy at Good Boy. I looked at my watch.  "I come back. I go hotel first," I said to him. Forum member and I arrived back at Quarter Silom and said bye. We agreed to meet later for dinner. I went up to room to change out of my wet clothes and get cash. I sent a message to my guy to tell him to take his time and come back to hotel later. He's holding on to the 2nd room key card so he can easily enter room. I went for massage with Younger Brother and this time, he really took the lead from the beginning. I think he probably heard from his older brother (or info could be from other massage guys) what I liked and he made me very happy indeed. After the one hour happy massage, I went back to room. My guy was lying on bed and watching Tiktok on his phone. Seeing my happy face, he surmised, "You go massage! I know!"

About 10 minutes later, we were down at lobby to meet forum member for dinner. But first, a stop at hotel gym. My guy wanted to buy a gym membership. He likes the Quarter Silom gym because it comes with access to swimming pool. He enjoys soaking in the pool and letting jets of water massage his back. He has a slipped disc problem so he is slowly doing exercises to strengthen his back. Manager of gym was away on dinner break so we ended up waiting half an hour. When he came back, he processed my guy's application, took his photo, issued a keycard and collected money for one month's membership fee (guess who paid!).

My guy was appreciative of me for paying for his gym membership. Forum member, my guy and I went to Joy Zone next to DJ Station along Silom Road for dinner and show. The show starts at 11pm every night and it is on 4th floor inside building. There is a restaurant on first floor and it serves Myanmar and Thai food. Dinner was delicious then at 11pm we went upstairs for the show which consisted of ladyboy divas and male prettyboys lipsynching. Very professional. Very Pattaya. At midnight, the gogo boys came out to dance and I tipped each one of them 100 baht. We left Joy Zone after the gogo boys performance. Forum member said he was tired and wanted to go back to his room to sleep. My guy and I went to hang out at Midnight bar. 3 of the Myanmar waiters were not there! According to another waiter, a customer came early in the night and bought them many drinks. Two of them got so drunk that a third guy had to send them back to their rooms!

My guy and I waited till 1:00 am same as yesterday night and we saw guys from the 3 bars coming out after closing time. My guy nudged me when a certain guy came out from Dreamboy. It was Music Guy - the guy whom I met regularly when my guy was away in Vietnam. And yes, they know each other. I asked Music Guy if he was hungry and wanted to eat supper. He said yes and the 3 of us adjourned to Foodland. While we were at Foodland, we spotted a Freshboy Viet guy eating with his lady customer. We smiled at each other knowingly. After supper, I said goodbye to Music Guy. I slipped him a 500-baht note and my guy and I went back to Quarter Silom where we had sex then went to sleep.

We woke up at 5am to watch a World Cup football match. Once the match ended, we had morning sex then showered and went down for breakfast. There was another football match and because it wasn't shown on the TV at breakfast area, we watched it on handphone while having breakfast and we also played chess. Finally, it was time to say goodbye. We went back to room and hugged and kissed for a while before my guy left.

I had 3 hours until check out at 12pm and I thought of taking a nap but I received a Line message from a forum member. He happened to arrive a few days ago and was staying at nearby Raya. This particular forum member is someone whom I know back in the days of Soi Twilight. I took him on a tour of the bars on his first visit 8 or 9 years ago. Subsequently, the timing of our visits to Bangkok didn't manage to match so couldn't meet in person. But I knew that he had many interesting adventures with other forum members. I connected him with forum member who stays in Quarter Silom and the three of us went on a morning walkabout around Silom Surawong area. We did a brief stop at Quarter Silom where I had to check out and we ended up chatting awhile over coffee at Starbucks at Thaniya Plaza. I had to say goodbye to both forum members as I had to head off to the airport. I would have loved to go bar visiting (and slutting) with reacquainted forum member. In fact, he remembered my guy! He mentioned the tattoo on his hand. I showed him photos of the additional tattoos he added over the years. I hope we get to meet again in future!

It was thrilling to see you again after all those years including dark times during the pandemic.  You were the one who dragged me out of my dark room of Tarntawan on my very first adventure to Silom and its business. It was because of you that i had a chance to see soi twilight as the first and last time before it saw its sunset. 

Hope to see you again soon and hope it wont take another 8-9 years. ♥️

I've been staying on and off at Quarter Silom for the past six weeks. I think I checked in and out about 5 times and departed for home on Thursday. It's a shame we couldn't have met up, but I imagine that we were possibly at the Quarter at the same time during our stays there.

I met up with 4 other forum members during my visit and I can honestly say that these were highlights for me. Not only were they lovely guys, but it was so much fun going to a bar with companions rather than on your ownsome.
