It seems perfectly reasonable to me to have someone who can help the actors walkthrough and negotiate a scene. I imagine all the male posters here have never had the experience of being groped or raped, but lots of women have. Negotiating and designing the scene upfront prevents any misunderstandings or male actors taking liberties in the name of 'art'.
And I imagine it does help limit liability and future problems.

I asked that question  two different boys on two different occasions on different trips and answer was the same - management thinks it's client  who should pursue boy , not other way around. While there's certain logic in that as some Tawan customers   may attest - there boys approached clients freely and shy ones could feel  unduly pressed.
But end of day result of such policy is that  a lot of Jupiter customers  leave with impression that boys are not interested at all an nobody can blame them.
Only because I braved and offed few guys from there I know that as soon as they are seated with us , behavior goes back to normal so to speak. On another hand I can confirm that it's a bit of truth in opinion that their boys tend to rush things , specially on the first meeting.
Again it's not universal - I even know one member who foolishly declined boy's offer to extend peace discussion till morning for very modest consideration. Some people are such wasters !

Ive never book a place to watch firework before but ive been in bangkok and pattaya during new year few times. Roof top restaurants/bars usually have a dinner/drink/firework packages that u can book, some can be quite expensive though. Furama silom roof top has one annually. Booking a higher tier room there could also work, but like u already guess, the rate during that night is high, can be triple the normal rate.

vinapu reacted to reader in What Are The Prostitution Laws in Thailand
    From Pattaya News
    By Adam Judd
Recently, prostitution in Thailand is back in the news, primarily due to a report by the International Sex Workers Union, seen here, that states that Thailand is in the top ten countries worldwide for the number of sex workers.
This has caused significant discussion online and some confusion about what the current laws are and what proposals are in place for potential change to the laws. With the assistance of our friends and partners at Issan Lawyers, here is a brief overview of the current situation:
Prostitution in Thailand is a complex issue with a legal framework that is not straightforward. Here’s a summary of the current laws, legal penalties, and future proposals regarding prostitution in Thailand:
    – Prostitution itself is, surprisingly to many, not fully illegal in Thailand, but public solicitation for prostitution is prohibited if it is carried out “openly and shamelessly” or “causes a nuisance to the public”.
    – The legal framework governing prostitution is based on three acts: the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act, the Penal Code, and the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act.
    – The Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act of 1996 explicitly forbids prostitution in public places and brothels, introducing fines for providing sexual services. This essentially makes any bar or club that has prostitutes illegal.
    Legal Penalties:
    – Individuals who solicit sex in an open and shameless manner or cause nuisance to the public are subject to fines.
    – Those associating in a “prostitution establishment” for the purpose of prostitution face jail terms or fines or both.
    – The Penal Code stipulates that anyone over the age of 16 who subsists on the earnings of a prostitute shall be punished with imprisonment of seven to twenty years and fined, or imprisonment for life.
    Future Proposals:
    – There are recent proposals to fully decriminalize prostitution in Thailand to ensure higher standards of safety for sex workers.
    – A draft law, the Sex Workers Protection Bill, has been proposed to replace the existing Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act from 1996.
    – The new law aims to grant fundamental labor rights, healthcare support, and social security to sex workers.

    From Pattaya News

Chonburi, the home province of the resort city of Pattaya, came in second with 1,892,712 visitors, of which 49.88% were international tourists. The hotel occupancy rate was 76.69%.

It was the twins, Es and Em's birthday at Poseidon. Not Chinese people. They invaded cocka2 bar afterwards, were our group of 10-12 were sat.
You are correct that a lot of the complex was dead, and has been since the end of Songkran, but the well run bars are busy as usual.

While I love low season, the Complex has lost 2 bars in the last 2 weeks (Lambada and BC Bar). It's likely they won't be the last to shut up shop. There simply isn't enough expats and/or tourists to support 30+ bars in the complex.

Yes, OK, but I like a bit of atmosphere.  In Bangkok,  the Golden Cock, for example, in its glory days, lots of boys, in various stages of undress, some sitting on sofa, cocks out, a farang getting a blow job at the bar!

you touched real issue here we rarely if at all think about. Both sides are taking unknown risk, we may be taking home an addict , thief  or short tempered weirdo.
They walk with us   and may think the same - is that guy an addict, thief or short tempered weirdo ?
things may bad  from both ends. Mercifully stories of things going bad are very rare  on both ends but they do happen, yes including clients stealing from boys, weird as it sounds.
In Pattaya there may be additional "attraction" , few more people in the room waiting and  hoping to take an advantage of girl or boy for one off fee and one tip.

Went to a straight area last night in Soi Bukhao, 9pm and every bar was full.
One hour later and I had to settle on a Bolt motorbike taxi as every Grab/Uber/Bolt were busy ok it's Saturday night
Now I'm thinking after waiting so long for a Uber and seeing the busy Soi Bukhao areas that my intended destination the Jomtien complex would be pumping
But....after arriving at the "Super walking street" it seems the only thing busy was the first restaurant on the right ?
Poisendon ? A lot of Thai /Asian guys maybe Chinese
As for the rest of the bars 10pm on a Saturday night many had NO customers whatsover
I was going to go into the Venue for their 10pm show but didn't want to be the only one in there 😂
It just shows the straight areas so busy and the gay scene..well what can I say 😲
Less boys around than say 10 years ago....please stop living in the past I say to myself 😊
