Well after getting over the dreaded sinusitis (and doing a lot of boring touristy crap during it) I did manage to get in some massages and a bit of fun but I won't cover the straight or ladyboy fun I had. Although I didn't visit Jupiter, most of those I saw going in were Chinese. Four was definitely busier than Twilight.

Currency exchange -- Super Rich location in Silom complex continues to offer most competitive rates but you can do a little better at its other location further down Silom located next to the building where Arena is located.
 
KFC has opened a new store a short distance away from its old location on Silom.

My first 12 days of my latest holiday started as usual with a couple of days to get over the jet-lag.

Good mixture of Vietnamese, Cambodian and Thai guys. Drinks are reasonable at 300 baht. Maybe not to everyone's taste but I certainly enjoy it for what it is.

It does feel something like Chippendales with all the women and many of the guys obviously favoring them. It used to bother me but I just change my strategy and go before the tour groups arrive. I'm really just going to look at attractive guys and occasionally take one home. They certainly like my baht just as much.
 
This past weekend was another Chinese holiday (dragon boat days) so Silom was full up. DJ Station was packed. Gotten to the point that it's good to check the PRC holiday schedule.

There are here some who are enchanted with riding a tuk-tuk, but I would prefer to have sex with a MB even if the odds were the same...

"Thailand provides antiretroviral treatment (ART) for free as part of the country’s universal health insurance scheme.. It is one of only two countries in Asia and the Pacific that has more than 50% of people living with HIV on ART, the other being Cambodia. In 2015, 64% of adults who are eligible for treatment were receiving it, alongside more than 95% of children.
In October 2014, Thailand extended ART to all those living with HIV, regardless of their CD4 count (which indicates the health of the immune system), in line with the most recent WHO treatment guidelines. Since then, more thorough identification of new cases has been introduced to ensure people start receiving treatment as soon as possible after diagnosis.
Thailand committed to reach 90% of eligible adults and children with life-saving antiretroviral therapy by 2016. However, the adoption of these new treatment guidelines means it has now missed these targets."
 
In the absence of a cure for HIV, the rational way to eliminate it is to treat everyone infected so that their viral load goes to nearly zero and it is nearly impossible that they pass the virus to others. This is something good that can be said about Thailand.  In contrast, a very rich Singapore is far behind in social programs, offering little help and much bashing to people with HIV.  Their lack of concern is a curse of their homophobia...
