Yes, I had hired a guide on your recommendation, and he become my guide on every trip I made to Brazil. He even took me to a birthday party at his family's house, met his Grandmother, and I learned much about Brazilian culture I never would have seen or known. He became a friend and was definitely a reason for great memories and good times. He was a guide and no sex with him was involved.

He is cute. He did not put out. He was not a sex tour guide in that way. But, a true tour guide who knew the gay areas and translated well. He was worth every penny he was paid and I'd still hire him on every trip I took to Brazil if he was available.

Yes, they do. I had a great guide in Rio and Sao Paulo and I recommended him on the boards, people booked him, and he made his life doing this. A great life I may add. When I travel to a new place I like a guide with me day and night. When I go to Cebu this summer, I want a guide. I do want a face too but sex is not needed if he knows where to direct me.

I am a Christian, very spiritual and religious.  However, I haven't come out to anybody in my family or anyone associated with the church.  When people make negative comments about gays, I just ignored them, and I divert their attention to the corruption of the church itself, most of them would shut up.
I don't belong to one particular church.  But I pray, I listen to gospel songs and catholic chants everyday.  I visit and pray at many beautiful cathedrals when I have the chance.

Of course cheating is nothing new in society or sporting events but 3 recent High profile cheating scandals makes one wonder if cheating is on the uptick. One wonders if it is  more prevalent in today's society. Have we lost a sense of right and wrong.
The chess scandal were a player is accused of using Anal Beads to cheat and win. I guess someone would buzz his ass in some sort of code to tell him what moves to make. Wonder if he got a hardon playing chess with all the ass buzzing? 😝
    https://www.euronews.com/culture/2022/09/27/chess-grandmaster-denies-cheating-by-using-anal-beads
Then there is the woman poker player accused of using a vibrating finger ring to somehow cheat at poker. She agreed to return some of her winnings to her opponent. Maybe she can take tips from the Chess guy with his anal beads.

Finally cheating at a Fishing Tournament. Shoving lead weights down the fishes' mouth to add weight and thus win the Tournament Prize Money.

KYTOP reacted to PeterRS in What Now For the Fed Bull Heir Murderer?
There is no need to rehash the story of how the grandson of the Red Bull founder, Vorayth Yoovidya, mowed down and killed a policeman while driving his Ferrari at something like 170 kph along Sukhumvit at 5:00 in the morning in 2012 with drugs and alcohol found in his system. This murderer has used his family's billions to stay ahead of the law for ten years, even though Interpol has allegedly been involved (a fact I have disputed as his name has never appeared on any Interpol list of many thousands of wanted criminals) and he has been spotted at various locations, including here in Thailand. Coming from the 2nd wealthiest family in the country, clearly no one in the government has any intention of upsetting the elite apple cart by having him found.
Today's interesting fact is that this murderer's grandfather was a simple maker of pharmaceutical products that happened to include one energy drink named "Sprightly Red Bull". An Austrian businessman visiting Thailand tasted it and decided this was a product that could be marketed internationally. He took a share in the company and set about making it the world's best selling brand and himself a fortune estimated at US$25 billion. Red Bull is far more than a drink. It sponsors a vast number of major sports around the world, including ownership of the Red Bull Formula 1 racing team whose lead driver is the current World Champion.
That businessman Dietrich Mateschitz died yesterday. According to sources he owned a 49% share in the company which manufactures and markets the drink. With the founder of the Thai company also passed on into pastures new, it is one of his 11 children who now controls his various companies. Overall charge is in the hands of Saipin Yoovidya, the eldest son of the founder's first wife. Vorayuth is his nephew, his father being the next younger brother from the same mother in the family hierarchy. I suppose the question now is: what becomes of Mateschitz's 49% shareholding? Presumably he has bequeathed them to friends/family/colleagues. But do we know if there was any agreement between the two families that on his death some or all would revert back to the Yoovidya family? I guess time will tell. Time will also tell is the murderer is ever going to get his hands on even part of the company.
It is known his family is protecting him by all lmeans possible. But such familial agreements do not always result in harmony. One prominent example is the man known as the former Godfather and Gambling King of Macao, Stanley Ho. Polygamy was legal in Hong Kong until 1971 (a result of an ancient Qing Dynasty ruling) and Ho had 17 known children from four wives, two of whom had legal marriages, the other two were after the repeal of the Polygamy Act. After his health deteriorated in 2009, lawsuits aplenty flowed from the wives and the children. The family squabbles over his fortune of many billions of US$s were described in one news outlet as "Byzantine". I know one lawyer who made a fortune by representing Ho who had counter sued some of them. So only time will tell not only if the murderer is ever brought to justice but if he is ever allowed to rule part of the fmaily empire.

I don't know a great deal about Cuba except from some Gay Cuban friends of mine. One of them left Cuba for Spain, and eventually US, a couple decades ago because he was gay. I will have to ask them about their take on this. I was surprised it was supported by their President and therefore the Communist Party. Without the Communist Party's support there never could have been a referendum.  I know some guys here had expressed a desire to visit Cuba during the period Obama had opened up on visiting there.

It has been well over ten years but I had great times, including great sex 😁 in both countries . Always felt safe and I would walk about BKK and Pattaya with never a fear for my safety, day or night. Except for the time I almost got run over by an elephant on a street in Pattaya lol. I never had any problems getting around and going places, doing what ever, even though I still can't speak a bit of the Thai language. It truly was the Land of Smiles for me.
On every trip to Brazil, Sao Paulo and Rio, I always hired a young guide I was introduced to by  a major poster here. The guide was from Sao Paulo and not an escort and no sex was involved with him. I paid him $100USD per day and he stayed with me throughout my trip and stayed with me in my hotel room. He was a great tour guide of tourist sites and the Saunas, Gay life, beaches and restaurants. We became good friends. Always had my back, many times when walking he would say "lets cross the street" or change directions if he was suspicious of someone following us, and always made sure no one put anything in my drinks. Stood guard at ATMs and Currency exchange and was very guarded. He of course spoke the language and English, was fantastic when dealing with the guys at the saunas. We did have an incident with the police. The taxi, he, a sauna guy, and myself were riding in was stopped by a police officer. The Cop asked Driver, my guide and the sauna guy to step out of the Taxi and show ID's but not me. The cop then talked to the driver for a bit. After the driver got back in and we pulled away my guide said I needed to give the driver an extra amount to money to cover the bribe he gave to the cop. Cop said someone didn't have a seat belt on or something or other. On one trip we saw a couple get robbed right outside the street café we were eating at. I don't think I would feel comfortable visiting Rio by myself. But I absolutely love Brazil.
I also traveled to Colombia a few times, but to see a specific guy I met on F4F. It seemed safer than Rio but crime was still an issue. Back then they had Security cops in military fatigues at the ATM machines with AK 47s.  Cars were checked, including mirror looks under the car, when entering the Mall car park. And Cops in military fatigues with AK 47 type weapons' walked patrolling the malls. 2 of them stood on each side of me once to have our pictures taken, they got a big laugh out of it. Once, My friend and his friends rapidly escorted me from a public restaurant/ park area when a fight broke out. But I would walk to a mall close to my hotel and McDonalds and never had a problem. Colombia is a beautiful country with many beautiful men.
When I was visiting Brazil, Thailand, and Colombia they all 3 seemed to be bargains to me then, especially compared to Europe. I am sure inflation has hit them some since my last trips.
Honestly I do not think I would feel safe Visiting Boystown or other parts of Chicago, Portland and some other US cities right now either.
