I went Wednesday night to BBBoys show (10.30pm). Good show as usual. Go early to have a table near the scene to have a good view of the performers bodies... Why wouldn’t you get an extra room, like a $20 per day hotel room, for two days, on booking.com?
There are plenty to chose from in the area, and it is not just a few hours with one single boy, you can keep the key and go with every boy until you are satiated. 
it is a little more than what you paid, but frankly if you could afford the flight to Thailand but cannot afford $40 to have the peace of mind that having your own room gives, and no silly deadline like 2 am, I am not sure what is going on in your finances.

It’s a false distinction because apartments falling under hotel licensing can be booked through hotel lodging listing sites (eg, use the Booking dot com filter) and those lodging categories can also be listed on Airbnb or similar platforms. The distinction is accommodation size and range of self-catering amenities. Without the filter you will sometimes see an apartment equivalent under ‘select room’ when scrolling down (eg, Raya) but they tend to be expensive. Hotel apartments not listed on Airbnb or similar platforms tend to be more objectively reviewed and you will see more complaints because Airbnb guests tend to overrate or simply bypass a review if dissatisfied, and are reviewed themselves by hosts; those show in your profile visible to hosts if the review process had been reciprocal. 

Recently had a late night in Pattaya and ended up in Boytown. The busiest and best place in that area seems to be at:
BoyzMusic bar. Taken over the former premises of Cafe Royale.
No idea how long this bar going, but a fun place with boys moving there when they finish work at BBB.

You are right, that street is full of good places, but 27M was the worse of all of them for me.  I tried 2 guys, there: Dollar and Pe, and they were both terrible. No kissing, can’t get hard, no interest in trying to please me. Two very beautiful straight guys who hate what they are doing, and it shows.

that was precisely my intention, to show that good time can be had if one wants to have that. And is very easy to find it.
Naysayers may be right that old times were better in terms of variety of options available and certainly more liberal but what I observe every trip , even if options are shrinking , they are still abundant. I was there 14 days , 12 of those in Thailand and only at Hot Male go-go I counted 10 guys I wanted to off . So one can go easily on monodiet.
