  1. Obviously, you would make a success of the bar you refer to buying! Just the right personality!
  2. 'Animals' was in the original post by one of the passengers. Pretty awful, we British have something of a deserved reputation.
  3. Interesting, but I would like to know the original language in which this article was written?
  4. I hope you paid up? Did you have a good time?
  5. I'm glad to know that a recommendation from a leading cancer hospital in the US is only an opinion. Very reassuring.
  6. An unnecessarily aggressive response. There are different views as to the age at which PSA screening should take place. I note that Johns Hopkins, a leading US cancer centre, recommends screening from 55 onwards. They specifically say that screening between 55 and 69 is the age where most men will benefit from screening, as this is the time when treatment makes the most sense. They suggest further checks every 2 to 3 years. Recently, i had a raised PSA level, checked after an enlarged prostate. I am over 70, and my Consultant arranged an MRI scan, which is non invasive, and which he said would be definitive. It was negative, luckily. Another in 2 years. Also, it's misleading just to refer to prostate cancer. Like all cancers, it comes in lots of different forms.
  7. Is it just the gay bars that have this issue? Last time i was there, 3 months ago, the girlie bars had girls in tiny bras and g-strings, even outside the bars in the street in Patpong 2.
  8. What about Goodboys, or Banana?
  9. '......relaxed, attentive, and mindful demeanor.' Good luck with finding such people!
  10. Got it in one!
  11. Which century will that be?
  12. Indeed, the UK does not issue identity cards. However, why do you say a driving licence is easy to forge? The same technology is used for your passport as for your driving licence. The licence has most of the same details. Indeed, once, being a seasoned traveller,(!), I forgot my passport, and when I came into the UK, they let me in. They said that this was irregular, but the officer I saw said that so far as he was concerned, the details were good enough. My driving licence has been accepted many times in the US, in lieu of a passport.
  13. Which escort site? Some are more reliable than others.
  14. Interesting. On reflection it was SSSS that was on my boarding pass.
  15. I don't blame them for being stressed. A really high profile job, and they must be wondering when some 21 year old kid will come in, says he's from DOGE, and fires them!
  16. That was still happening, at least until recently, at LHR. Several times I had the letters SSS on my boarding pass, and I had to go through another check at the gate. They said it was random.....
  17. Yes, indeed, people like me! I used them in pre Internet days.
  18. Interesting that this is still the case. In what are referred to as 'the old days', it was always cheaper to buy return tickets in the Far East, for travel to Europe. As I was a fairly frequent traveller, this worked for me. I used Chawla travel in Bangkok, whom I think are still going!
  19. Yes, I've done that, for my guests!
  20. An uplifting thought.....
  21. I'm sur the the gulags are more comfortable
