Serendeputy Posted July 8, 2017 Share Posted July 8, 2017 We all have to watch our budgets, indeed I am probably facing a reduced daily budget this coming trip But that said, generally on my holidays, time is even more precious than money; getting the best I can out of each day. If I see a lad who is carbonating my hormones just by smiling at me, am I really going walk away over an extra 500 baht or even an extra 1,000 baht? As long as I don't do it every day I would rather enjoy the experience and capture the memories than go off in search of second best for the night. I don't have many regrets from my Thai holidays, but of those, most are for hesitating rather than grabbing the opportunities that present themselves. Fortunately Toy Boys is full of little opportunities LOL I wholeheartedly agree. Better to grab those little opportunities! I went to Toyboys this last week when it wasn't so busy with lots of eager boys both inside and outside at 9:30pm. I saw a stunning Cambodian boy who was new to the scene and called him over for a drink. After some chitchat and seeing my visible hesitation, he offered to go back with me for LT at 2000 baht. Stupidly, I told him I wanted to see the 10:30pm show at BoyzBoyzBoyz and would come back later. After enduring the straight Chinese boy club that BoyzBoyzBoyz has become (call me nostalgic but I miss the days when Boyztown bars were gay bars, and I didn't have to watch middle-aged Chinese husbands take off their shirts to impress their wives), I rushed back to Toyboys to find my handsome guy. Don't get down about it. not necessarily loose money, possibly another , more lucrative customer comes along. I had it in Tawan, well publicized in my trip report from Jun 2015. There is not much point in taking them back to your gay area hotel much before 1 am due to the noise from the surrounding bars. I cannot concentrate on sex when some drunken farangs rendering of "I did it my way " booms through the windows and walls. Taking them to BBB would be rather expensive and I don't enjoy the place much these days. After collecting them from the bar the best would be to have a meal together at a restaurant or with street food in the room. Not really cheap for Home Goods but I knew it would look great under my track lighting. Rather than making an impulse decision I decided to wait a day and think it over, visualize it in my condo. Well I'm thinking for the last day someone could have bought this chair yet no one did, and now this lady might just buy it right now! Should I tell her I'm buying it? I was still debating. So I try to talk her out of it, pointing out some flaws, also it could be bought online easy enough. I decide to walk away and find a worker there to discuss if they can deliver it for me. Of course they can " just go up front and pay for it and fill out paperwork. Well up front in the cashier line I get a tap on the back, it's the lady and she so sorry but she bought the chair, even though she knew I wanted it. And to add insult I see the chair being wheeled to the front door. Oh well, I told her I should have bought it right away and I hope she enjoys it. My head was bowed, it was like finding out my son wasn't really mine and I had to turn him over to his birth mother. I swore that would never happen again and if I saw something I really wanted I'd just pull the trigger. The next day I go back to see if they had anything new. To my surprise the leather chair of my dreams is back where it was, ha ha. Why was it there? Did it not fit in her car? Did she want it because I did? Then I started thinking what might be wrong with this chair. Maybe I shouldn't buy it now. The psychology of it all,lol. Ok, I bought the damn thing! And it looks good but I don't really use it much. This happened to me during my last trip at Cupidol when "my boy" took quite a while to disengage and go and get dressed, join me and leave, with hostile looks coming from the disappointed guy who thought he had a boyfriend for the night. I don't want drag him with us for this or that reason so he must wait for me to pick him up. Sure he can dress and wait outside or even be directed to come to my hotel but on humanitarian grounds I don't mind if he stays in bar , being eye candy for others and perhaps earns tip or two from other patrons. But I expect him to be there ready to go when I return to pick him up. It's why MonBoy would not have a chance with me , but judging by numazu's narrative I would be loser by being so strict with my rules so sometimes it pays to be flexible. Jack always told the customer he couldn't go with them. If I had taken him out of the bar then the customer he was sitting with would have still missed out. Besides, not every customer offs a boy, especially at Eros. As I said, Jack was a regular - I offed him every night over the duration of each holiday spent in Pattaya over a number of years. Offing him early would have left me in a quandary as to what to do before going back to the hotel. Neither of us drink so bar-hopping was off the schedule. By the time I'd arrived at the bar to pay the off fee, he'd already eaten. So he was happy to work and earn some extra cash; better than sitting in the room watching TV and definitely better than him accompanying me to Goodboys. We watched TV and chatted after sex. The customers still were able to enjoy the hands -on experience with him ; that's basically what Eros is all about. Having said that, I'd be totally pissed off if I sat with a boy and bought him drinks, only to be told later that he was already taken. I get that. Putting the booked boy on stage without number seems the best solution. Nowadays with my bedtime in when in Pattaya rather before 1 am than after 1 am, my offs tend to be earlier.
