Songkran in Bangkok in 2025 is 13 to 15 April. A question. Is it completely over then? If for example I arrive on 17 April is it all over? Opinions among people I know differ as whether it’s a desirable time to be in Thailand but I think it’s something I would prefer to avoid.

Hi all. Each year I usually wish my Thai friends a happy Songkran, but now that my list of friends has grown to include boys from Cambodia and Myanmar, is it appropriate to send them Songkran greetings as well? I assume they may have their own separate celebrations?

It seems that most massage parlors close relatively early. For example, if you go out for drinks and want a massage after midnight, there doesn’t appear to be a whole lot of options available in the Silom area. Are there any good massage parlors that stay open until 2-3 am, or even 24 hours, that I may not be aware of?
