I changed money today and the rate of USD to THB was 32.41. Is the USD getting stronger or the THB getting weaker?

A good start to the Elite vs Poor issues that were the cause of the past months would be for the current government that has been appointed by those in power to actually take advantage of the time they have before a new government is actually elected by the people. The Bangkok Immigration office has reopened. The US Embassy will reopen Tuesday, May 25. I have not checked about other embassies. Other than Pattaya, the curfew is still on for tonight, 11:00pm-4:00am. CRES will announce later whether there will be more curfew extensions. Over 500 curfew violators have been arrested. So far the penalty has been suspended jail sentences and 2000 baht fines. The MRT (subway) has announced service resumption beginning Sunday. On Sunday the MRT will run from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Full service is scheduled to resume on Monday. The BTS (Skytrain) expects to resume service on Monday. There has not yet been an announcement whether it will be full or limited service. Damage and potential problems will be fully assessed before resumption of service, which means there is a possibility that service will not resume on Monday, but at the moment resumption of service on Monday is expected. I have also seen reports that repair and reconstruction of the damaged shopping centers is expected to take at least six months.

I have no clue as to why or what's going on with that all of a sudden, on top of everything else going on lately. I don't know whether it's temporary or permanent. I have no other information. At 1:40pm today the Red-Shirt leaders surrendered. Then things went absolutely berserk. In Khon Kaen, Mukdahan and Udon Thani they set fire to the city halls. There are reports that the Red-Shirts stormed the city hall in Ubon Ratchathani, but so far I have seen no reports of fire being set there.
