When I am here in Thailand I always plan at least on romantic evening with my thai bf. A nice restaurant, romantic setting, good food, fine wine (well, not really fine wine) and then back to my accomodations for whatever. But it never seems to turn out very romantic! Seems the Thais do not understand the concept. The bf may like the ambiance of the restaurant such as Cabbages and Condoms but thinks the food is medicore and doesn't drink the wine and instead has a Coke with the meal. No matter what I try the evening never turns out as I anticipated. Do others experience the same-same?

There are conflicting reports about the percent by which the referendum passed, but apparently the Thai population has indeed passed the referendum. I'm not sure what it really means or what changes we will see, if any, in our own daily routines, but there it is. I admit that I really haven't paid very much attention to the whole thing. It seems that in Thailand everything changes, and yet nothing changes, so I haven't really bothered with it.
