In my next trip I consider going to Ko Samet island for 4-5 days, It's very short distance from Pattaya and it seems there are nice beaches there. Is it gay friendly ? Is it worth going there ?

There are so many airlines now that travel back to USA gets cheaper. I gave up trying to use the American companies years ago as the cost to upgrade is insane. Hainan airline has great tickets to USA in Business Class for cheap. I recently got one for 2200 USD. Now, the PITA part was it required 2 stops in China. This requires you to get out your luggage each time and you have to apply and get a 24 hour transit visa. This is a pain but if in Business, they have someone meet you at the gate and walk you though things. The seats are very comfortable. They lay back fully and the food is the best I have had in ages. My Hero is gorgeous. It is well done and the deluxe rooms are great. The cost for 1.5 hours is 1800 baht. The tip is 1500 baht. So, the total cost was 3,300 baht. They didn't have many guys to select from but they had one that caught my eye immediatley. His name was Tonkar (sp). He is 22 and from Issan. Nice body, smaller build and decent command of English. Located on Silom, just passed Naritiwat Road, this place consistently has about 25 hunky/muscular boys who do what most people are looking for in a place like this. Good sex and a reasonable massage. Parking is available in the basement of the building. Unfortunately the physical place itself is quite grungy, run down and not at all attractive. While I won't call it dirty, it is not pleasing to the eye and not comfortable.
