This question is just out of curiosity. If they don't pay rest assured I won't inform authorities. Who knows about the business affairs of The Venue and Castro bar? They play music in their shows. They pay royalties for that? Also The Venue before the show starts and in the breaks shows video from a Dutch concert from De Toppers. Do they pay for that and for the candid camera videos we see?

I’m hoping to visit BKK soon and I’m really interested in experiencing something unique and special. I’ve heard about manhood massage at Dr Bear and tantric at Spa Bangkok. I have been worried since Soi Twilight closed as so many have said the area was gloom and doom and the gogo scene in Bangkok was dead. I have no idea where these ideas came from. I hesitate to call this a trip report as it's much less detailed than many, but here are my observations from a trip to Pattaya earlier in May. Typically I only frequent gogo bars - massage is not generally my thing (I'll make an exception for a stunner), and host bars are usually a last resort. I spent a week in Hua Hin, one of my favourite places to unwind, before hitting Pattaya for 10 days. The transfer was hellish, for some reason known only to herself the driver decided a route via central Bangkok was best. The motorways were gridlocked on a Friday afternoon, so instead of the usual 5 hours the journey took 7.5 hours. It will be the ferry next time for sure. …

The stickman website as mentioned the gay bar area in Patpong a few times. This latest post suggests that some are becoming angered over patpong becoming more and more gay with gay bars being next door to straight bars. I'm wondering if the gay bars will have an influence on the older bars in patpong that are struggling to survive and watching as gay bars open and attract a crowd while charging premium prices? I can't help but think some straight bar owners will go gay for the pink baht.
