  1. I went to Soi Twilight tonight and ate at Dick's Cafe and then went to 3 bars. All the drinks are same prices as before. LOL No special prices. Dream Boys is 400 baht. I went to X-Size and they had a very nice selection of boys. Something for a bit of everyone. Drinks were 350. Boys all said it has been slow and they need money. I went to Hot Male. The place had 4 customers. More than any bar so far. They had a nice selection of boys but they all said things were slow too. A friend from the USA has a BF there and since I was in the area I thought I would drop by and buy him a drink and give him a tip. I bought him a drink and gave him 500 baht (15 US) as I know thing…

I just hope they are not referring to Yingluck with this one.....not a clue as to the affection for French desserts. Thought they were more interested in in durian.

Oz is back in Thailand, but we havent gotten one report yet...Is he is a Thai Pho coma? Have the gogo boys at one of the clubs drugged him and held him captive for their nefarious plot to overthrow the internet?

There hasn't been any postings in this section for a while, so I thought I would give it a shot. I'm starting my 2nd year of retirement and finally have realized I don't have to be home Sunday night to go to work Monday morning. I have been to Thailand several times for 10 days to 2 weeks. I thought I would give a 1 month trip a shot. I found an apt on AIRBNB. Heard good and bad, but this experience has been about perfect. Have a 1 bedroom, fast wi-fi, pool, little gym. I arrived at 1am so stayed in a hotel as I didn't want to go looking for the place and looking for keys at that hour. When I arrived the protests were still happening, so a 10 minute taxi ride here,…

The 'Ugly American' may be getting a run for his money. Teething troubles for Chinese tourists in Thailand Apr 15, 6:12 AM (ET) By DENIS D. GRAY CHIANG MAI, Thailand (AP) - The bucolic, once laid-back campus of one of Thailand's top universities is under a security clampdown. Not against a terrorist threat, but against Chinese tourists. Thousands have clambered aboard student buses at Chiang Mai University, made a mess in cafeterias and sneaked into classes to attend lectures. Someone even pitched a tent by a picturesque lake. The reason: "Lost in Thailand," a 2012 slapstick comedy partly shot on campus that is China's highest-grossing homegrown movie ever. …

OK, I get it that the Democrats and the 'good people' are doing their damnest to oust Yingluck and take over via a street mob putsch. And I think I get it that her attempt to bring back her brother by pushing through a general amnesty was a bridge too far. So: What I'm wondering is whether the 'good people' are just taking advantage of Yingluck's over reach on the amnesty bill or are they desperate to crush the Thaksinite party before the respected King dies and is replaced by his feckless son? It just occurred to me that maybe the amnesty bill itself was a desperate effort by Thaksin to get back in Thailand to control events following the death of the King. If answer…

Since I have been to Thailand so many times, I considered myself lucky to have found the Ambiance Hotel in Pattaya's Boystown. The prices were good, the hotel was clean, albeit simple, and you could bring boys to the room with no problem. I must have stayed there 8 times. But, the last time I noticed differences The staff was not as friendly, the bed cover had stains although it had clearly been sent to the wash. The stains were of the appearance, and in the location, that one could reasonably conclude that they were semen stains. On top of that, there was a serious bug problem. I didn't stay long. But I liked the location, and no other hotel of the original quality o…

In Japan, they have rimming stations for men to like women's butts. Now why don't they offer something like that and call the business Bel Ami butts. . .

  11. First, let me say that the Intercontinental brand is one of my favorites. I keep their top tier status for a reason; they treat me well. I have seen the hotel in Hua Hin for a while but never been able to stay here for an extended period of time. The boys and I wanted to get away from the hustle and craziness of Bangkok for a few days so we made our way to Hua Hin. The hotel is fabulous! It is simply amazing. I can't recommend it enough. The pool is incredible. The service is top notch. The daily breakfast buffet is amazing. The restaurants are great and the management is hands on and easy to work with. We checked into one of their pool suites and the view of t…

Thanks to the travelogues posted here so frequently, we may know a lot about visiting Bangkok bars or Rio saunas without ever going there. But lately I have been looking at gay tourist sites, and here's one that I thought did a good job of helping you get through your first night a Bangkok bar. It's even funny! http://bangkokbois-gay-thailand-blog.com/2011/02/26/first-timers-guide-to-bangkok-gay-gogo-bars/ For a chuckle, I quote the blogger's guess at what you experienced when you went to a message board for information on gay Thailand: "If their first visit wasn’t a spur of the moment decision while already in Bangkok, the newbie probably tried to find out the scoop t…

Getting a Massage in Gay Thailand Who doesn't like a good massage? Whether with or without a happy ending, getting your muscles rub by a hot stud is a great way to relax, feel good and prepare your body for whatever your days and nights may have to offer. A massage is a great way to start working off a hangover, or feel better after a long plane ride. If you ever decide to ride third class on a train in Thailand you will definitely want a hot and heavy massage as soon as you reach your destination. Unlike in America, massage houses in Thailand are not seedy places and are never raided by the cops, so you can get what you are looking for without ever worrying about get…

My trip started Monday with a flight from Atlanta to Seattle. Seattle has become my departure airport for many reasons. 1. I don't like flight legs of over 9 hours and Seattle has the shortest legs to and from Tokyo. Westbound is usually 9 1/4 hours and Eastbound is frequently under 8 hours. This is quite a bit shorter then flights out of LAX. 2. Seattle airport is easy to get around and the transportation is sett up well. I always spend the night in Seattle in both directions. 3. Customs and Immigration is fabulous. Never had more then 10 minute wait (maybe I am lucky) and always a nice welcome home . A pleasure compared to Detroit, Los Angeles , JFK et…

The boys and I decided to venture out to Chinatown today. Most major cities around the world have an area like this but I love Chinatown in NYC and in San Francisco and the one in Bangkok is much smaller but a lot of fun. It only stretches for about 1-2 kilometers and is abuzz with lots of food being prepared, gold stores, and merchants selling their wares. We had lunch at a local Chinese place that was full and had many people inside. We got a wide variety of food to taste and we enjoyed it all.

  17. Day 1: Bangkok to Siem Reap The boys and I decided to go visit Cambodia and Angkor Wat for a few days. And, since my family has been giving me a hard time for staying in same cities and same hotels, I decided this trip would be more of an adventure than a 5 star holiday. I won't skimp on some good things but we will try to make it to Cambodia the cheapest way possible and stay in Siem Reap at an inexpensive hotel. First, we did not make any reservations for transportation. We did make hotel reservations as I would not be able to make the journey without having security of knowing I had a place to stay. So, I went to Expedia. I found a great deal for 3 nights in Siem…

  18. Lumphini Park is a park in the middle of the massive city of Bangkok. It is located right in the business area and is over 140 acres of land. BTS Skytrain Silom Line Sala Daeng Station is nearby. MRT (Bangkok) Lumphini Station and Si Lom Station are nearby. It is also easy to take a taxi there as every taxi will be able to find the park. I would call it Bangkok's Central Park. There is a great deal to do inside the oasis from the city. You can ride bikes and train here. They have marked road signs that show you how far you bike and many take advantage of the great trails through this beautiful park. You can work …

  19. The Grand Palace in Bangkok is a series of buildings right in the heart of the city. A visit to Bangkok without seeing this magnificent compound at least once is a shame. Every time I go there I am transported back to the King and I movie I saw as a child. It really is simply breathtaking and photos do not do it justice. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha is one of my favorite areas. It is quite stunning.

  20. The boys wanted to go to the soccer game when Barcelona was in town. It was a huge deal for them as they both love soccer and they love Barcelona. I told them to go buy some tickets at Ticketmaster and they did. They were lucky they did as they both told me of issues at the game with fake tickets and people paying for 2nd hand tickets, getting ready for the game and then not getting in. Imagine that: face tickets in Thailand! A true shocker isn't it? They wanted to go really early and they spend most of the afternoon there walking around doing whatever guys do at these events. I didn't ask many questions. But, I did notice a few too many photos of girls. They said …

  21. Hero is one of my favorite hangouts in Bangkok. The massage place is clean and there are always about 50 or more muscle boys there for the asking. Today, I was tired and I needed a good massage and my 2 regular boys were not there. So, I asked the mamasan to call them and he did and they would be there in an hour or so. So, I went ahead and booked a VIP room for 2 hours. I had 2 boys that the mamasan said could do "everything." That does not mean they are gay, it simply means they can accommodate you with what you want. One's name was Ice and he was adorable with a cute sexy ass and a nice think cock. I have been with him in the past and he is often hit or miss but…

  22. One of the things to do in the daytime in Bangkok is to go to the mall. There are several malls to go to but we always enjoy our time in Siam Paragon. Siam Paragon is HUGE! All size queens should love this mall. It has just about everything you could possible want. In Thailand, when kids in high school get out of school, many head to the malls. Also, this mall is right next to several Universities and several go there to study, meet friends and just hang out in a cool place. First, in order to get to the mall you can take public transportation or taxis. There are good things and bad things about both. For the Skytrain, it is very eas…
