  1. I also ran into the Surawong taxi issues this week. The guys at Hot Male told me you have to walk over Silom.  Can still take some time but they show up.  Part of the problem is Surawong is blocked off at Thaniya. You can’t drive out to Rama 4 so taxis avoiding the area.

  2. I retired to Ft.Lauderdale from San Francisco when the market couldn’t give houses away.  I’m happy here.
my biggest issue is the car insurance rates. Thru the roof.

Most of the people that complain about the heat in summer complain about the cold up north in the winter.   It’s only mid 80’s here today. 90’s up north .   My pool and ac take care of the heat.    Prepare for few guest in summer and overcrowding in winter.

American Airlines controls MIA.   Easy to fly to South and Central America. You will find fares higher than you expected as this is a hub.

  3. I’m in Ft.Lauderdale.  Close to normal here now.   Everything open.  We have 3 strip clubs that are full on weekends. This month is spring break for colleges and beaches are packed.  Aps are working .   Tourism has been down for past year but is starting to pick up now . I got both my shots in January so did a couple of trips. All flights full .

  4. They moved to the new location the last week in March.  The day Thailand closed down for COVID.   The new location is upstairs next to Hot Male.   They spent a month renovating space. It looked nice.  But then COVID. I’m sure it’s been a difficult few months.

  5. I live in Ft.Lauderdale so it’s summer year round.   We have 3 strip clubs that have finally reopened. Though no back room fun.
Not supposed to be much physical contact between customers and dancers.   They do allow lots of tip money to exchange hands.   Many of the guys will make private arrangements with you, but an hour here can cost what a weekend in Thailand costs.

South Florida is just about fully open.  Tourist are starting to fill the hotels again . As with Thailand, winter is high season here. I’m usually in Bangkok for winter months so this will be my first time home for several years.

  6. I have the Ecco like in your picture.   They are expensive but for me, worth every penny.  I’ve had mine for about 12 years. Living in South Florida I were them almost every day.   I’ve worn them in many rain storms in Bangkok and Florida. I keep waiting for them to fall apart, but no signs of that happening.    They can be had for $100 to $125 US.
