Although I am very positive about the bar I have to report two less than positive experiences on consecutive nights, taking out a man from there. And there is a pattern. The first I take him off about 01.40, pay the 500 off fee, go to 7/11 nearby and to my hotel two minutes walk away. When we arrive in my room at about 01.50 he tells me his friend is waiting for him so he hasn't got long. I express surprise and he says he can stay until 03.00. We go to bed, which is ok ish, he can't come (not a problem), I can't come; he clearly wants to go at 02.27. I pay him the 2000 and he goes but I feel short changed. He did ask if I was ok and I said I was (I lied but I see little point in demanding a man stays when he wants to leave). The next night I take off a different man about the same time, arriving in room at 01.50. He immediately says he only has until 02.00 and he has to go to hospital. (He does not appear sick and there are many reasons one might go to a hospital). I tell him I am not happy and the same thing happened the previous night. I say goodbye and give him nothing. He says sorry and leaves. This is the only time in 12 years I have given a man zero. From both of these lads I get the impression they think they finish work at 2am (ish) regardless. I don't want to raise this with the bar in case it damages the men's relationship with the bar but in the context of short time in Patpong this is not good enough. Thoughts?

Screwboys, Saturday night. I think I counted 13 guys, yes manly, but some had not entirely left twinkdom, speaking as a twink lover. And it's early days for this bar. Decent number of customers, I was surprised, not full, but atmosphere reminiscent of the old days. Many of the staff are the same. Beer 350 bt. Sunday night I arrived about 22.20. I was told 'no boys working'. Mamasan didn't know why. Few customers but show was on so stayed a while. Up to Freshboys which had a good number of customers. More twinks here. Many of them know me and I know them. Back to Screwboys where boys had appeared on stage, about ten of them. TiT; this is Thailand, where anything can happen. Of course, in the past, years ago, the lads got no wage here but could arrive/leave as they wanted, I was told. I have no idea what the current arrangement with them is.  I took off one to nearby hotel and I was content and he seemed happy with his tip. I think this bar has made a very good start after 3 years closed and I will support it.

If you follow the link Fedssocr posted earlier in this thread I think you find a nice balance between types of guys on stage at New Screw Boy.
Based on my last trip six months ago, I didn't have a problem finding twinks in any of the Bangkok bars.
And if I didn't see them on stage, they could almost always be found among the staff. Sometimes they may even find you first.

my first bar I visited was Up To You on Rama, likely where Take-a-Nap hotel is now.
Mamasan, seeing I'm shy  chose boy for me and we marched to short time rooms under Suriwong hotel in that dark passage leading to Moonlight.
I still hear squeak of boy happy with his tip as those days I did not know difference between short and long time and tipped him for long time after our 1.5 hr or so stamp survey session

Decided to pay a visit to what is now called "New Screw Boys" last night around 9.00pm Friday, 28 April. See photo I took on arrival below. The place is located at the far end of Patpong. Ground floor level in effect downstairs from Fresh Boys. Inside the premises nicely cleaned up, yet the same size as previously. For those not familiar with it, they have retained the same seating arrangements, a bit awkward and cramped nonetheless in keeping with its' history, and this part of Bangkok.
Staff greeted me nicely, one of which goes back for me a few decades. Can see more photos of the place on Facebook just type in "New Screw Boys".
Drinks at about 350 per one.
As I arrived early I  was the only customer. And seems the place is in need of more custom.
Six dancers on the stage, masculine types  no shirt but each wearing sexy jeans. Was told more numbers arriving later. In fact, when I was there a real cutie arrived, but I was told he was top only though on the stage a few good lookers (through my eyes) who I was informed could be compatible.
Apparently, there is a cabaret show nightly.
(After I went to Dream boy. which seems more popular than ever especially with Asians; now a better selection and drink prices reduced).
    Anyway:
I enjoyed my time in New Screw Boys.
    Definitely worth  a visit!

There are people that go grocery shopping and look at prices carefully to determine if they really want/need something (me).....then there are people that just throw stuff in the cart, without looking at or caring what the price is 😉

I went to Siam Square. Besides the usual mayhem, they had a series of floats. Young guys in wet white shorts are part of the floats and they put on a very sexy dancing display.
Some delicious -looking bulges on display and the usual hot bodies.

    From Philippines Bureau of Immigration
Beginning May 1, 2023, the Bureau of Immigration (BI) will be discontinuing the use of paper-based departure cards and will instead be expanding the eTravel system to lessen the requirements of departing passengers.
BI Commissioner Norman Tansingco said in an advisory that the said platform, which was initially launched in December, harmonizes and consolidates data collection processes at arrival ports in the entire country.
“The eTravel platform will soon be used for both arriving and departing passengers. Travelers no longer have to fill out departure cards and instead may log in the online portal prior to their flight,” Tansingco said.
ETravel Technical Working Group chairperson Dennis Javier said that starting April 15, departing passengers may log in to the platform not later than 72 hours to not later than 3 hours from the scheduled time of their flight.
The online portal replaces the paper-based departure card, which passengers were required to fill out prior to departure.
“This is a major step in streamlining documents presented by departing travelers, allowing for faster and more efficient immigration processing,” said Tansingco, adding that the eTravel website may be accessed at etravel.gov.ph and is free of charge.

GWMinUS reacted to reader in Thailand’s problem with transgenders in the workplace
I admit that I had no idea what "cisgender" meant before reading this article--and I'm not altogether sure I do now.
    From The Nation
What can businesses do to improve the work environment for transgender people? That was the question asked by transgender representatives at a recent Bangkok seminar to discuss issues they still encounter at work – and potential solutions.
“Thailand appears to be an LGBTQ heaven, but in reality they are only tolerated, not included. Otherwise, we would see a greater presence of them in all kinds of occupations,” said Nikki Phinyapincha, founder of the TransTalent consulting group.
Nikki was speaking at the “Trans Mentorship and Seminar Day” on Friday, part of Sasin School of Management’s inclusion initiative (IDEAL) led by Dr Drew B Mallory and TransTalents.
Around 77% of job applications by Thai transgenders are rejected – more than for lesbians, gays, and bisexuals – and they face three times more obstacles in unemployment than cisgenders, explained Nikky.
(Cisgender describes a person whose gender identity matches their sex at birth.)
“This is also very important for financial inclusion and security of transgender people, who suffer the most from discrimination at work,” she said.
“There is a false impression that a transgender person has emotional problems. To change this and make a better impact, we need to give power to these people in the boardroom for decision-making too,” she added.
Anamika Phiancharoenrat, payables analyst for ExxonMobil, explained that when she took the job, she felt like she had no rights as a transperson at her company.
“I was scared of going to the bathroom because I had to follow my title, which is Mr, and I felt so uncomfortable being in the male bathroom,” said Anamika.
“I was fortunate that the company had a pride group to support me and help raise the problem, and now I can finally use the women's bathroom,” she said.
“Thailand may seem like an LGBT paradise, but I disagree. We are not even treated as human sometimes,” she added.
Wharinthorn Na-Bangchang, a partnership development manager at LMG insurance, agreed.
“I think it's about respect,” she said, adding that “Asian culture is blind, no one knows what transgender or nonbinary means and they want nothing to do with anyone different from a cisgender.”
While companies like to appear trans-friendly, she said, they do little or nothing to protect trans rights.
“Many organisations seem supportive, but they are not. It’s more like a marketing campaign. They have to hire an LGBT in human resources first if they really want to support us,” she added.

A cis(-gender) man is someone who was born with male genitalia and today identifies as a man/male.
A cis(-gender) woman is someone who was born with female genitalia and today identifies as a woman/female.
Some dating apps enable people to choose the gender that they identify for themselves: cis-male, cis-female, trans, FTM, MTF, non-binary, etc.

I've had that rotten BPH and I can say it isn't fun at all, some medication helped to relax the prostate but I ended up having the TURP procedure which in itself wasn't fun either. The good news is that now there are different and less horrid procedures to deal with the enlarged prostate than TURPs, if and when mine goes off again I shall be looking at one of those new procedures.

Having an enlarged prostate is not a fun thing, but often a part of getting old. I have had BPH for a number of years and have to use a catheter 3 times a day. There are several proceedures to open up the prostate. Search on line for a hospital there in Bangkok that can deal with this. CHEERS!!
