You also need to calm down. The individual in question was a respected member that got obsessed with trolls after some bad personal experiences. He properly denounced racist remarks and many fabrications by some posters and some real trolls.

This obsession led him to loose his balance, his last deleted post was indeed inappropriate and filled with assumptions. But this is an unfortunate outcome. I hope he can recover his good senses and return.

Any recommendations for hot new BL Series showing now?

I enjoyed "Big Dragon" even if it was not KinnPorsche. Enjoying "War of Y". But the twists and turns of "To Sir, with Love" are getting old.

So point me to some better Vids!! Thanks

Big Dragon has 2 more episodes left. Besides the recommendations above, there’s Fahlanruk you may enjoy (still ongoing) as well as Love in the Air, which just ended (except for a special episode airing this Sunday), so you can binge watch it. I’m also watching Ai Long Nhai and Remember Me, both still going on.

House majority? If the Republicans are 218 and the other team 202 then why aren't they in power?

Based on the midterm election results that have been confirmed as of now republicans have 211 seats of the 435 total. In order to have a majority they need 7 more seats to get to 218. Democrats as of now have 204 seats. They need 14 more to get to 218. There are 20 seats that have not been called for. All these are midterm election results for the house in 2023 and 2024.

Based oh the last election (in 2020) the senate was split (with democrats having a tie-breaking vote of VP) and democrats had the house.

  4. Senate for now is split 49:49. Democrats need at least 1 of the remaining 2 contested seats: Nevada most likely will go into recount, while Georgia is heading to runoff election in December. 50:50 gives democrats the Senate with VP as a tiebreaker.

House majority is achieved at 218. Republicans are closer to it with 211 current seats. Democrats at 202 need 16 more of the remaining 22. Tough, but not impossible.

Like yourselves I too seem to have succumb to it for a second time now just last week too.

Im guessing the onset of winter here in the UK will be pushing the numbers up again quite rapidly as people having cases here is all I've heard this last three weeks now.

Myself and nine other family members were away for a trip last weekend. We were all staying in three separate log cabins and only meeting up for breakfast and drinks later in the evening ( but all sitting quite separate even then).  From our original group of ten five members came home with Covid on the Monday and 3 others picked it up later during the week, so with eight people from the original group of ten picking it up would certainly suggest that it's strength or transmission rates certainly aren't on the wane anyway thats for sure.

Thankfully as I'm double jabbed the symptoms were less that the first time I'd picked it up, but I certainly was still aware of it for it, with the whole headache, sore throat and shortness of breath thing stil being there.

I've actually just tested 10 minutes ago there and there's a test a full 6 days after returning home from my trip and the test is still showing up an almost as strong reading as it did last week with no visual sign of any weakening, so it certainly doesn't seem to have lost any of it's potency anyway :(

And now the next dilemma as I'm due to travel by boat tomorrow and fly on a short haul flight on Monday for "must do" work stuff and after my already haven taken this week off and worked remotely another week just isn't practical so the decision comes up to mask up and travel anyway or not now ! 😞

You may test positive for month(s) - it does not mean that you are contagious. In the US our guidelines at work state that you can come back [to work] after 5 days of initial onset of symptoms and/or positive test (whichever the earliest) with a tight fitting mask for another 5 days, and without a mask thereafter. Speedy recovery and good luck!

remind me when the last time was that "Putin" exterminated another race in the millions like the US?

If anything the western Ukrainians and Poles are just still pissed at Russia for coming through in '45 and letting all the Jews out of the ovens.

This war between the US and Russia will just escalate as all do.

The Donbas has been fighting for secession from Ukraine and to rejoin Russia for many many years and there was a peace treaty in 2014 that Ukraine signed to recognize Donbas autonomy. After the  coup in Ukraine organized by the US Zelinksy was voted in as the pro-Russian candidate. However the US decided it wanted war and Zelensky turned on a dime (after buying a multi-million dollar beach house in Israel on his government salary.) He sent troops in and 14,000 people in Donbas were killed by Ukraine. The US wanted a war to weaken Russia as an international competitor to Wall Street hegemony. The US wanted as much death as possible and as much war as possible to that end. Just like Iraq. Every death in the war is more money in Secretary of Defense Austin's pocket. The US killed by genocide 1 million people in Iraq and 7 million exterminated in Vietnam. It holds the record over Hitler for the most people murdered in the past 100 years by far. Killing is America's biggest industry and America wants a World War now for some reason. Somehow they think that's good for Wall Street. (It may be as long as Wall Street relocates).

Daniel Hodge is not a reporter. He is a cameraman. Anna Coren is a CNN reporter based in the CNN Hong Kong bureau.

I agree they should not have been permitted inside a crime scene even though they did not show graphic images in any news bulletins. The implication behind the last sentence is slightly scary, though. No reporter and his/her crew can be expected to obtain work visas if they are going to do their jobs by covering last minute news items. I'll bet anything that those many hundreds covering the Cave Rescue were here on tourist visas. If Thailand wants the good covered as well as the bad, there is no alternative to reporters having free access on tourist visas.

I don’t know about Thailand but, pretty much everywhere else in the World, Press need to be accredited with appropriate agency in the host country in order to enjoy their privileges, which includes acting in their official capacity. The accreditation process, in case of emergencies, usually just takes minutes and involves an email from the company bureau covering the host country. No developed nation would allow tourists act as Press without proper accreditation. Assuming that it’s ok to do so in a developing country is highly disrespectful to the host nation, not to mention, illegal.

Well I attended this Church, it welcomes everyone, particularly lesbian & transgender people.

Most were over 50yo but a few older guys with Asian boyfriends.

I found it a little bit boring, singing hymns ,they had the words in a large screen so U can sing along

I think why not spruce it up with electric guitars etc, they want younger people that's how you do it ,not singing old hymns.

But I enjoyed the coffee chat afterwards

Sounds quite a bit more conservative than I would have expected: no speaking in tongues, prophecies, miracle healing, or snake handling?

I hope that at that coffee chat you abstained from sharing your very impressive statistics of your recent trip to Philippines 😀

can anyone explain what is "BOLT"? Is it a taxiservice? And is it safe?

It’s like Uber or Lyft - app based transportation and food delivery service, based in Estonia. This is what the logo looks like:

I guess it’s as safe as Grab, which is a Singapore-based counterpart of Bolt, prevalent in Southeast Asia.
