Bangkok Again? 5th time a charm...?

What day is it?

Ah, jet lag has hit...my body is confused, to say the least.  I decide it's time to relax into this visit, do personal maintenance, and keep my massage appointment and off the 2nd Freshboys waiter.  

Breakfast was fruit and juice and toast.  I read the Bangkok Post while observing this morning's golfers take off in their three van fleet.  The assistant manager reminds me there's a reception for guests tonight and hopes to see me there.  Back in the room, i wash up, and spend the next two hours catching up on email and the news.  Divine Madman has texted about a meet up on Saturday, which is a great idea and we go back and forth a bit on where to meet, which is resolved quickly.  I also get a PM from Numazu about his approaching arrival.  We switch to Line to discuss the various clubs and venues, will figure out a meeting later.

I head out, first to Excelsior tailors in the Siam Heritage entry lobby.  Happy greetings all around, I order two pairs of pants, one a  light cotton, the other a patterned denim. The sales person begins a spiel to sell me shirts, he shows me swatches from the shirtings that remain after the  boss's (Sonny) return from his US sales trip.  Everything marked down...marked down from what, back and forth, all part of the script.  Shop knows what I've paid in the past and that I won't budge beyond.  I start by picking out five swatches, the price is 900 thb, too much, price drops to 725 thb when I agree to adding a sixth shirt.  I arrange for a time to come back for a fitting.

Now I head over to Tony Leather's new shop - they relocated when the Twilight renovation happened and the old shop was included in the demolition.  New shop is across from the Glitz Hotel.  Smiles and greetings.  I've brought my electronics travel bag which is cloth with a leather handle to ask that the handle be repaired/replaced.  No problem, what about some shoes?,  boots?, maybe a wallet?  I tell them of the compliments I've received about the jacket they made for me.  I like these guys and we enjoy shooting the time with idle conversation.  I select a wallet, have two alligator belts cut and sized, and ask about having a copy of my electronics bag crafted in leather with some changes in design.   I'll return to see what is possible and what it might mean to the budget.

It's lunch time, which means it's time to head to Prime for a 90 minute aroma massage.  Which goes smoothly and is Prime professional.  My feet were restored yesterday and my body has been de jet lagged at Prime.  I walk to the open air food court down the road from Golden Cock and have some street food including fried chicken and some fresh apple juice.  ON the way back to the hotel, I stop in Golden cock where I buy the two guys who are awake a drink and indulge in some light hands on touching (groping).

Get back to the hotel, some Line messages and a couple of messages via Planet Romeo which  has pegged me as being in Bangkok.  I email The Poseidon in Pattaya to say that I'm sorry I can make it this weekend but will be back in the spring (not defined).  I like that hotel in Jomtien for its location, care for its guests, and its food.  But if I go I'll miss catching up with Numazu.  There are priorities.

I head out to Amolir massage, which is located in the area next to the Siam Heritage on the way to Patpong.  There are two massage shops down the stairs, divided by the tailor's dummy on the street.  Amolir is the one where the staff wear yellow shirts, it also only has three guys on staff.  Toey, the massage therapist who I saw last night while navigating with Minh to the hotel, starts his shift at 3pm and it's now after that.  Toey is from Issan but has a slight Nordic look, a striking handsomeness about him. I had a good massage and afters with him in August, and I'm in the mood for a repeat and know we won't be duplicating the good work of my earlier Prime massage.  One problem is that the massage cubicles are private, but the walls are not closed off at the top.  We manage, he removes his rather elaborate massage uniform, I remember the also elaborate tattoo on his back and then we both remember what I like.  Very successful 90 minutes.

Back at the hotel, I wash off the oil, freshen up, and go downstairs to the manager's reception.  Meet some of the other guests, get really involved with two guys visiting rom Mexico.  Suggest they go to Mahanakon  aka King Power Tower.  We talk about shows and later find ourselves crossing paths later tonight. The manager in chief greets me and asks what I've noticed since my last visit.  I compliment the staff, the cleaner look of the hotel, and the irritating habit of the internet needing frequent sign-ins.

It's now about 9pm so I head to Patpong 2, distracted by the Freshboy barkers, Tronc reminds me I'm going to off him tonight, I tell him I remember and succumb to a cuddle on the bench at Red Dragon.  I then head over to Lucky Boys assuming I'll be accosted by Mamasan Lucy.  No Lucy?  She's away, she'll be back.  Another mamasan takes me into her charge.  A brigade of boys is on stage, moving through a rotation that will bring each boy to the front every few minutes.  Efficient but it takes a while to single out any boy (s).  #22 stands out for his physical beauty.  OK, I know we each have or own definition of such things.  I prefer a guy who has a swimmer's body definition and striking good looks.  This guy had those attributes.  Mamasan calls him over, but tells me that he is "straight".  He is from Issan, I buy him a drink, we discuss the future of Euro bonds if Brexit happens, and while he is ok with being admired there is no kissing, no this or that going to happen if we leave together.  I enjoy gazing at him, give him a red note and a thank you.  Waiter, whom I know, stops by and says #22 gets a lot of folks buying him drinks, and that odds are a female customer will off him each night.  Waiter gets a red note as he also updates me on who is most popular and who is in the "really do anything"  category.

Which reminds me to mention, I share Numazu's thoughts about mamasans, the good ones are really good at helping cut through to reality when one is wondering.  This may only happen when a mamasan recognizers a repeat customer.  Yes, sometimes their advice will be wrong, but it's usually right on and the mamasn telling the boy that customer has a good heart, goes a long way to opening up some partially closed pathways to making a good evening a better evening.  And sometimes good information runs afoul of a boy's definition of the ground rules.  My favorite example is of a boy I offed who told me he kissed, the mamasan confirmed he kissed.  Once in the room and we had had some time doing oral, I went to kiss him, he didn't kiss back, I mentioned this and that he had said he did at the club.  His answer was he kissed but not with someone who had sucked a cock - even if the cock was his.  

Back to t he report.  Decide I'll not decide about any Luckyboy tonight and head over to Hot Male. Meet up with the guys from Mexico who are gong into Lucky Boys.

Decide it's time to claim my waiter from Freshboys, the Julia Roberts mamasan greets me and seats me near the door, where the waiters quickly find me, the fuck show is in progress and Tronc tells me he'll be able to leave once it ends and he resets the stage.  Another waiter sits will me and keeps me entertained.  I buy him and the mamasan of the stern countenance drinks.

Tronc and I leave.  I don't need to say a thing, he knows my hotel, he has his ID ready, and he know what floor button to push when we get on the elevator.  In the room he disassembles his clothes, undresses me, invites me shower with him, his hair doesn't get wet.  Could it be posible, the boys share customer preference information?He is much more active than Minh the night before BUT at quite a lot of intimate play, he can't come.  He can get me off, but he can't get there.  This is actually a first for me.  There have been times when I can't come, but this is the first time with a boy/ waiter/ barker.  He is sorry, cuddles harder, stays entwined longer, but in the end it's time to say goodnight.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the name of this Viet boy Trung, not Tronc? Or maybe its a different boy we are talking about, but this Trung also is prone for a cuddle at Red Dragon. The resident cuddler. Anyways his Line name says Trung as well. Doesn't matter I guess.

Return appearance

I wake this Friday morning and decide to ease into the day.  Not really interested in a Tarntawan breakfast, I cross Surawong and walk to Starbucks for a hot chocolate and scone.  I check my messages and read the several from Van.  He has been a feature of most of my many reports and while he is no longer a "must" see, I know time with him will be fun once I listen to all the things that go wrong for him.  The Vietnamese telegraph is working as he knows I'm in town, tells me he's working at Banana Bar on Soi 4 and when will he see me?  

I send a vague reply that I'll find him this weekend.  Decide to go for a walk and head to Lumpini where some upcoming something or other is setting up.  Sit and watch th eboys working out.  It's still early so most of the bar boys aren't up yet.  Walking back to the hotel, I stop at Tony Leather and look at the design they've come up with for a brief case/over the shoulder bag.  I ask for some changes (i.e. no magnet to hold a flap down as the bag will mostly be for electronics.  Price agreed after usual amount of bargaining.  It will be ready early next week.

Decide to have lunch at the Siam Paragon food court and head there via the skytrain.  I notice multiple young girls dressed in long blue gowns and wonder what school requires such a formal uniform.  It's when I go to enter Paragon and see more girls in blue dresses posing next to a poster for Frozen II that I realize it's the movie's opening day.  

After lunch and some wandering around, I head back toward the hotel.  Bi is in his Nakarat sales location and I'm easily sold, so we repeat...this time the room has a mat on the floor rather than a table but it all works out.  Excellent massage, ditto on the afters.  

At hotel,  I wash up from the massage and take a nap.  I sleep longer than I intended waking after 7pm.  Decide to not decide to not decide a plan for tonight.  So I wander over to Patpong 2 and go to Red Dragon and enjoy the attention of the Freshboy barkers, the bartender, and a couple of the Hot Male bar boys as they arrive for work.  Minh and Tronc come by and ask me to off them again, I said no wanted to try someone else...which lead to three of the other waiters coming to sit with me to have a drink.  At some point, I realized I was enjoying this  but wasn't going to commit tonight.  I did promise to off one of the waiters but not tonight.

I stop at French Kiss for a burger and head to soi 4, where the Banana barker appears overjoyed to see me and propel me upstairs.  As others have reported the music is loud and the boys are many and a good mix.  One, who used to work at Hot Male, is on stage, sees me and smiles, I wave him over to my seat in the second row which already has a mamasan attached (another Twilight Hot Male alumnus),  the telegraph is working as Van pops out from the back room and joins us, smiling that I came tonight.

Another mamasan (also ex-HM) stops by to tell me she's happy I'm there.  It takes a moment before I realize that she is transitioning and I remember her as a him.  We talk a bit.  Van tells me he has to go make a call to home but will be back.  This leaves an open field for many of the boys to stare and smile at me.  One a Cambodian includes some exposing of his private parts.  Turns out the waiter is also ex-HM and is vary cute.  Lots of choices but it will be Van tonight.

He returns, I tell him to change, pay the various fees and for the five drinks I bought.  Van's eaten and doesn't want any food other than some Family Mart snacks and a toothbrush.

We have been together so often we have routine, I had prepared an explanation of why I was not offing him for the remainder of my trip, but didn't have to use it as he tells me it was a good thing I cam eon Friday and he has to leave on his visa run to Myanmar tomorrow.    He is a very handsome young man with a well defined body and all that goes with it.  We settle in for a long time, after an initial round of remembered intimacies, I fall asleep as he watched a movie on my iPad.  At some point he returns to bed, wakes me to provide some services, and then falls asleep.  The rest of the night will be a battle for space on the bad as Van is a twirler and spins around in bed which pushes his bed mate (me) into pushing back, or getting up and moving to the other side of the bed where it will repeat.  This may be a reason I don't seek LT.

A Vietnamese doing a visa run to Myanmar? I always assumed they only to those to their home countries, though I guess that doesn't necessarily have to be so. Or is it a mix up on your part?

All the guys seem to use the same van service for their VISA run, regardless of their home country. Myanmar is the closest in travel time but the roads in Myanmar are not so great so many prefer to go to Cambodia.

Cambodians have to do it every 15 days while the others have 30 day intervals.

Occasionally a van originally booked for visa run to Cambodia will, at last minute, be diverted to Myanmar for logistical reasons.

I understand the cost is the same for both destinations.

Yes. Vietnamese do not need to go back to Vietnam to get visa.

Divine Moment

To my surprise Van wakes early (for him) and we have breakfast in the hotel.  He will be leaving this afternoon for his visa run and asks if I'm going to Chatuchak today.  As, I've noted in one report or another, he knows my habits.  I usually make a souvenir run once each trip.  He wants to look for some clothes as he will be going home to see his family in the next few weeks.  So we head out by skytrain.  Arriving around 10am.  I see lots of things, but nothing interests me.  By the way, I know that Van has a plan which is that he will find something he likes and I'll pay.  He finds a short sleeve shirt and I pay.  He is also looking for some shorts similar to what I am wearing.

No luck, so we take a taxi to Siam Paragon and the Uniqlo store.  As soon as we walk in, he finds the shorts he is looking for...I wait while he tries them on and then he finds something else and needs to try it on...this doesn't work so I pay for the shorts and some socks for myself.  As it's lunch time, we eat in the lower level food court and then head back to the Tarntawan.  We say goodbye.  As he departs, I realize there have been no disasters, no lost passport, no father in the hospital.  There is often a crisis when Van and I cross paths.  Before he left he asked who I was going to off tonight and recommended one of the Viet boys at Banana.  I replied that I was thinking of the Cambodian boy who worked there.

Mid-afternoon, I went to Prime for a 90 minute Thai massage.  There was a problem as about an hour into the massage, my right leg  hamstring was manipulated into some pretzel form and rebelled and I had to stop the process.  The masseur worked around it but the strain will linger for two days and give my a hesitation in my stepping out.

Speaking of stepping out, I head to soi 4 and Banana Bar but not to immediately off Cambodia boy.  On my way there, I say hello to the guys at Red Dragon,  tell Freshboy's waitr #3 that I will be offing him tomorrow.  At Banana Bar the greeter tells me the boys haven't arrived, I assure him, I know that but am meeting DivineMadman in the outdoor bar area.  I am early and say hello to some of the boys as they arrive, the mamasan who was at HM and is transitioning talks with me for several minutes reminding me of some of the boys I've offed and telling me I have a "good heart" reputation (translation, my charm, character, humor, and $$$$$ spending have given me a positive rating).  

Almost to the minute of out scheduled meeting, DivineMadman arrives.  I always enjoy spending time with him.  First introduced to each other through the auspices of PaulSF, I try to make sure we can spend some time catching up if out travels bring us to a common neighborhood.  He is at Banana Bar in preparation for a trip.  He introduces me to the mamsan who used to work in Jupiter (i earlier wrote that I thought he had been at HM but was wrong).  As anddy writes in another forum topic, he is happy to be a mamasan as he doesn't have to go out with the patrons.  

Divine Madman talks about the changes he sees, the changes to the clubs, he politely suggests that I stay for a full show at Luckyboy and looks at the boys involved with the singing divas.  What he's telling me is that my inherent dislike for the ladyboy singers is causing me to missing viewing the boys on stage.  We laugh a bit, then a bit more, he introduces the fellow he will be traveling with...

At some point, this pleasant time has to end as he needs to prepare for his trip.  We exchange rough ideas of travel schedules and see some dates where our paths may again cross.

It's still early and I'm not ready to off Cambodia boy, so I arrange with the former HM mamasan that I'll return at 11 and I pay the off fee.  I talk with the boy and he is fine with this and will be ready.

I head back to Patpong 2 and decide to check out Dreamboys show...I go in and look at the drink prices and look at the boys and decide that's enough and leave.  I cross the street and sit in Red Dragon soaking up the attention offered by the bar tender and the barkers/waiters from Hot Male and Freshboys.  Many suggestions that I forget about Cambodia boy and taking one or two home from here.

I then head back to Banana Bar and since all was arranged, Cambodia boy is dressed and waiting for me.  I offer to buy him dinner but he declines, he knows where I'm staying as Van had texted him.  I think the Chinese could use the gogo bar system for keeping track of its citizens.

Back at the hotel, he's shows he has a rowdy side, he's quick to strip off his clothes, then undress me, shower with me (hair stays dry), and have some fun on the furniture.   He stays until about 1am.  I'm exhausted and let him know I'd like to see him again but it might have to be on my next trip as the next few days are booking up.

Before turning off the light, I check my messages, Reader updates me that he has introduced Numazu to Red Dragon.  Paul the Moonlight mamasan confirms that meeting with Babe can be in the later  afternoon on Monday rather than post show.  I text Yoyo about Monday night and get a yes which will allow for a special day.

I turn out the light and immediately fall asleep.

The Pope and Numazu are in town

The Pope has been in town for at least a day and we haven't crossed paths .  Numazu texted about meeting tonight.  All arranged in a few texts an I learn about his Freshboys double...or at least that it happened.  Referring interested readers who don't know what I'm referencing to look at numazu's latest trip report.

Reader and I exchange Line messages and he updates me on the Pope.  Yoyo must have texted me while I was sleeping to see if we can meet this afternoon and not tomorrow. I'm awake so he's probably asleep...but I suggest late afternoon before I meet Numazu and anddy.

I have breakfast from the hotel buffet and head out for a walk in the park, some of the boys are there working out which is good for me as I can check out the strength of my eyeglass prescription.

Yoyo is awake and will see me at 4.

So let's skip to 4pm.  I asked to desk to let him up when he arrives, which they do.  He is dressed moderately high fashion today with the rips in the jeans strategically placed. Long hung and kiss once he's in the room.  He undresses me before I undress him.  The next two hours proceed as anticipated/hoped/etc.  I won't be seeing him again this visit and give him a long time tip for a short time as he is worth it.  We showered together at the end and his hair remained dry.

I head over to Red Dragon, our meeting point for tonight arriving shortly before 8pm.  Usual fuss with the waiters and barkers stopping by.  I have a drink with the bartender who has decided my drink for tonight is a Campari and soda.  Freshboys Waiter #3, my intended off for tonight, checks to confirm when I'll be at the club.  Guessing, I say between the shows.

Note: by the end of this report, I will have offed 4 current waiters and 1 former waiter from Freshboys.  Rather than mangle their names as I did with Waiter #2, I'll just change how I identify them.  

Anddy buzzes by on his motorcycle on his way to find parking.  He returns as Numazu arrives.  It's been two years since out travels brought us to Bangkok at the same time and Burboy then was attached to him and his attention.  The three of us caught up on Numazu's take on the virtues of Latin America...especially Brazil and Columbia.  The barkers and Freshboy waiters attractively interrupt us as Numazu's reputation from his directing the Freshboys staging has spread.  The Julia Roberts mamasan comes down the stairs to greet him.  

Much of the next couple of hours is detailed in Numazu's trip report which has pictures.  While we are talking he is in text conversation with the Moonlight mamasan about an arrangement. I am in awe of his energy...knowing that when I was his age, I had nowhere as much zest for the thrill of juggling so many guys.  Cheers to him.

 Anddy, Numazu, and I head over to Luckyboys before the show starts to get a view of the battalion of boys in their drill pattern precision which brings each to the front of the line(s) on a regular basis.  There were six lines of boys at least five or six deep.  The mamasan, still no sight of Lucy, has seated us in the front row in the center.  Anddy and I are considered as semi-regulars (translation, the waiters know us).  Anddy invited #22 ,who I mentioned in an earlier post, to join him for a drink and an attempt to see if he''s wandered from the straight path.  I ask the mamasan about another boy who is beautiful...a level beyond handsome.  I'm told he's gay and Thai.  He joins me and confirms he is gay and Thai and will do x, y, and z+.  He also tells me he has been at the club for just over a month and is offed at least once each night.  The more we talk, his English being only slightly better than my Thai, I understand this boy not only has checked off most boxes but is also VERY HIGH maintenance.  I tip him for his time and say "maybe another night".  

Numazu has been eyed, enticed, flirted at by many of the guys in the rotation, and  tells us "too many choices", anddy has not broken the straight wall, and so we decide to head out.  Once back on Patpong 2 we discuss options, rule out Dreamboy, and Freshboy is a last night thing, which leaves us with Hot Male unless we want to head to soi 4.  Hot Male is  known to each of us so we turn toward the stairs and the barkers propel us up them, where the bar boys greet us as the old friends we are, and then into the club.  

The three of us double the audience.  The show is close to starting, we order drinks, two mamasans attach themselves to us.  Show starts.  My coyote is still away, mamsan texts him so he can text me that he is away until the weekend (when I will be heading home).  As Numazu  has written in his report, one of the boys in the show caught his attention.  A very manly specimen.  He joins us and then he and Numazu move to another seating section to discuss the value of soy bean trading.
