Bangkok Guy has been more prescient about Covid 19 than I have. Shortly after returning from Bangkok I went on a couple of business trips in quick succession. Long haul flights with facemask and sanitizer. Upon returning home in early March I asked him if he wanted to join me in Singapore for a few days in June. “Covid 19, cannot”. I was thinking things may have blown over by then and I still have the tickets, but increasingly I think I will be canceling the trip. When Bangkok went into shut down at the end of March I thought he would probably lose his income from the market stalls, so I sent him an allowance payment for April when none was due (the …

Screwboys is open again. Not many boys but at least it is open. HotMale had a nice selection of guys. I found a date at Freshboys which I took with me and really liked. Dreamboys had 5 boys on stage that rotated for over 20 min. I saw more there but those 5 stayed on the stage the whole time. Why? What is their rotation rate? There were more customers tonight in all the places. The streets were a bit busier than before. Luckyboys still not open. I had a great time with the guy I took. Question: Does anyone know 72 from Dreamboys. He has a triangle tattoo on his chest. Really cute and good dancer.

32 Caucasian male here recently into exploring my gay side. I’ve been with mostly ladyboys and explored quite a bit. I’m starting to have fantasies about smooth gay Thai boys. I’m interested in finding info on any places where open group sex can be found. Could be clubs, saunas, private parties or line groups. I would love to be somewhere that I could look around and see hot Thai boys sucking and getting sucked. And feel free to take mine out and see what happens. I am fit young and attractive. I’m open to pnp and poppers. Any information would be lovely.

From National Public Radio Universal Health Care Supports Thailand's Coronavirus Strategy Thailand was the first country outside of China to confirm a case of coronavirus. That was back in January. Since then, while the pandemic has raged in the U.S. and Europe, Thailand has been able to control its epidemic with a caseload among the lowest in the world - just 58 deaths. Thai epidemiologists say the country's universal health care system played a major role. NPR's Malaka Gharib has more. To explain how Thailand's Health System worked to keep the coronavirus under control, let's start with the first Thai citizen to test positive for the virus, a taxi driver. …

The crowds are growing a bit in the bars and clubs. There are more boys on stage than a few weeks back. Fresh Boys had sexy guys and about 15 guys. Mostly twinky gay guys. Hot Male had a nice mix. Jupiter had about 20 guys and most muscular and sexy looking guys. All in pants and shirts. Boys Bangkok was open but not many on stage so I didn't go in. Screwboys is closed. Lucky Boys was closed. Moonlight was closed. There were no massage places near Hot Male open. Silom Soi 4 was fairly busy with lots of places open and customers with and without masks.

From Bangkok Post Five select groups of foreigners and migrant workers are expected to be allowed to enter the country as the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) will consider the 6th phase of Covid-19 easing this week. However, although the country has been free of local transmissions for 55 days, an opinion survey issued yesterday showed that public sentiment was still against plans to open the doors to foreigners. The CCSA spokesman said on Sunday that a committee assigned to consider the easing of Covid-19 restrictions has discussed the 6th phase of relaxation and the issue will be tabled to a full meeting of the CCSA this week. …

Hi all: I continue to enjoy reading everyone’s posts. I’m wondering if those of you residing in LOS can answer a couple of questions: 1. Will the new government proposal regarding same sex relationships apply at all to binational relationships? Will a foreign partner be recognized in some ways as equal to a foreign partner in a heterosexual marriage with a Thai national? 2. Regarding the quarantine requirement on entering Thailand, does anyone know where the quarantine facilities are, what they are like, and the cost? I understand farang would have to pay for their quarantine accommodations, but Thai nationals would not. I haven’t found answers to …

No one knows exactly why Thailand has been spared. Is it the social distancing embedded in Thai culture — the habit of greeting others with a wai, a prayer-like motion, rather than a full embrace — that has prevented the runaway transmission of the coronavirus here? Did Thailand’s early adoption of face masks, combined with a robust health care system, blunt the virus’s impact? Was it the outdoor lifestyle of many Thais, or their relatively low rates of pre-existing conditions? Is there a genetic component in which the immune systems of Thais and others in the Mekong River region are more resistant to the coronavirus? Or is it some alchemy of all these fact…

I went to the gay bar area tonight. Most places are still closed. The two gogo bars open in the area were Hot Male and DreamBoys. Hot Male had about 15 guys working and they had some customers. They are practicing social distancing at least by putting red x's on the seats. Boys had plastic face shields. Dreamboys has one boy on stage so I didn't try it. There were several beer bars open but they were very slow and not many customers. A walk from that area to Tawan was so quiet as no street vendors and no one begging me to come in for massage. A soft opening for sure, but look like some places are starting to try to open back up.

News of a major cabinet reshuffle and events surrounding Covid-19 in Thailand appearing in today's daily English-language media. Today at 2.30 pm I was supposed to land in Swampy according to he ticket I'm still holding. Plan was to pass immigration , take a train to Phaya Thai, change to BTS and walk from Sala Daeng to still undecided hotel. First massage was supposed to be at Senso and in the evening I was hoping to itch to check if my dream boy at Jupiter is still there, Unfortunately for well known reason it came to naught and timing of trip # 21A is still unknown. Some seeing a tittle and then reading narrative will be disappointed but rest assured , not even 1/10 of how disappointed I am. But hope dies last

From The Nation Some 5 million Gen Y, Z employees staring at possible job losses Approximately 5 million Generation Y and Z employees face economic uncertainty as they risk being laid off because they do not have enough working experience, and their salaries were between Bt10,000 and Bt20,000, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce pointed out. Thanavath Phonvichai, the university president and adviser to the Centre for Economic and Business Forecasting, said that the Bank of Thailand also had concerns about this issue. Cabinet backs bill allowing same-sex unions The cabinet on Wednesday endorsed a bill permitting partnership registration of same-sex unions, along with legal amendments to ensure they have most, if not all, the same rights as married couples. The bill and the amendments will now be put to a vote in the House. Parliament will set up a subcommittee to work on the draft before it goes to the floor for debate. Deputy government spokeswoman Ratchada Dhnadirek said the new Civil Partnership Bill and the amendments to the Civil and Commercial Code would ensure fairness for people of all genders. The bill is an important step for Thai society in promoting equality…

I have friends moving to Thailand and have approved work permits. But, they are stuck in Chicago as the embassy is not certifying them for travel. The government laid out a process but this process is slow and not going to go fast for anyone. For those thinking of visiting, you need to wait until the government explains to all the consulates and embassies around the world how to follow the protocol laid out for them. Also, even if they were given clearance, air tickets through South Korea (Delta) have been cancelled 3 times. It is not easy to get to Thailand from USA right now. At least for multiple people I know.

From The Thaiger Thailand is proposing a “travel bubble” pilot scheme featuring a proposed five areas of the country to be tested before international tourists are officially allowed to enter. The move is reportedly to focus on safely reopening by using the areas of Chiang Mai, Koh Samui, Krabi, Phuket, and Pattaya, as experimental locations, which would allow tourists to enter at a maximum of 1,000 per day, without having to fulfill a 14. day quarantine period. A travel pact or “bubble” with 3 distinct stages, is expected to be agreed to with countries that have had similar success to Thailand in suppressing the Covid-1…

From National Public Radio The Cost Of Thailand's Coronavirus Success: Despair ... And Suicide One of Bangkok's street vendors and his bicycle worker. So-called "informal workers" have suffered the loss of income in the wake of coronavirus lockdown measures. Patrick Brown for NPR From a small corner storefront in Bangkok, Suchart Prasomsu, 53, a rice dealer, leads a rescue team of 30 volunteers. They rush to car crashes or crime scenes. They also retrieve the bodies of those who died in their homes, and since the start of the pandemic, part of their job has become trying to prevent people from killing themselves. Sacks of ri…

The Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on Monday gave the greenlight for all remaining entertainment facilities to reopen from Wednesday. It is claimed that the UK Government -when or if it is eventually able to get its act together- is planning to lift quarantine requirements for visitors from a large number of countries. The Bangkok Post thinks that Thailand will be on the list, as it should be in view of its success in fighting the virus. If this is true it's good news for those of us straining at the leash to return to our boyfriends . It may encourage the Thais to consider adding the UK and its vast tourist potential to favoured countries in a couple of months and, of course, any proposed trip to Thailand for me depended on being allowed back to my home without some form of imprisonment. T…

As Thailand starts to reopen, a quick straw poll to see where members’ opinions lie about the recovery of go go bars. I am referring mainly to the Silom scene as Pattaya bars have already been besieged by other issues even pre pandemic, but opinions on Pattaya too are welcome. A couple of boys and bar staff I spoke to have suggested, based on current government policies, a mid June reopening of bars seems realistic. However most of you will also have read the latest news that international inbound flights are now banned until 1 July. No word yet if a lengthy quarantine will be imposed even after the ban is lifted. This means tourism will be impacted until at least e…

Drink 450 baht As mamasan informed me the other day, Dream Boy Bangkok opened today. The bar is fairly big Perhaps twice the size of old Twilight bar upstairs. Seats are all new and comfortable sofa type. I didn’t see anyone smoking at show time 10:30-12:00. The bar was surprisingly full 40-50 customers. There is a large stage at the back of the bar but the view is obstructed by the huge structural column in the middle. The boys wear white shorts and not underwear like Twilight days, all shirtless. The boy are mostly muscular older guys. There were only 20 boys parading when I visited and maybe 5-6 boys sitting with customers. …

Odd day yesterday as I have a few guys from the apps I have wanted to meet. As always, you can never rely on much and promises of what they can do are about as honest as a New York Chelsea Guy telling you the size of his penis (accurately). Hookup 1: 12:00 PM Hornet - guy was cute, 29 year old Laos boy. Nice with little English. Versatile he said. But, he gets to my place, and it was just so bad that I got up after 10 minutes, said it was over, gave him the money and let him be on his way. Blocked from the app and LINE. Hookup 2: 4:00 PM Jack'd - guy was sexy and cute and said masculine. Showed up and was much more feminine than me or the ladyboys I know so I kn…
