1. First Bangkok Michelin Guide announced today. ⭐️⭐️ Three Restaurants including famous Gaggan ⭐️ 14 restaurants including a ‘street shop’ Jay Fai Personally I am happy to see Jok Prince mentioned as Inspectors’ favourites for good value. https://guide.michelin.com/th/en/bangkok/restaurants/page/1?max=30&sort=relevance&order=desc

  2. The government has instituted a 4 day weekend to help struggling hotels and other tourist destinations for the domestic market. In Pattaya, many closed hotels will reopen and the beaches will fill up with Thai families. It will be a temporary reprieve but welcome none the less. In years past December was the start of high season, which now seems like a distant memory. There’s a strong possibility that this will be the last month for the bars and hotels in Boyztown. Resurrection possible starting mid 2021..

  3. Thanks to a generous donation, this week's FREE BINGO Final Coverall Jackpot Prize now stands at 6000 BAHT!!! I am waiting since March to travel. I have now a strong feeling in 2020 I will not travel to Thailand at all I read today on the BBC the Thai government is maybe going to use the Covid crisis to drastically change Thailand’s future tourism. They don’t want millions of backpack tourists anymore. They want rich tourists. They don’t want sex tourists. I am getting the idea that maybe the era of gogo bars and beer bars is over. Without me realizing it at the time, maybe my November 2019 holiday was the last of its kind. How can the bar scene survive so many months without clients? Will it really ever get back to normal? I am frustrated

Anyone care to guess what these guys are waiting for? I think this is Bangkok?

Hey guys, Has anyone stayed at W Hotel before? What are your thoughts and ... is it joiner friendly? Thank you!

  7. Why to go to Thailand if there is no anal entry? As a top, I don't like condoms because they make me feel suffocated.

  8. Walking around the gay Bangkok area is getting more fun. The boys that were the hosts at Hot Male Beer Bar took over a bar downstairs and now the view from that bar is excellent as the street traffic is fun to see. Much like the gay beer bars that use to dominate Soi Twilight, it seems many of those lady bars that so many worried about are beginning to close and gay ones are opening in their place. It was fun to see so many new boys at the beer bars. And, if like me, you like some tattoos, the beer bar nearest to Screwboys has some amazing looking manly men working. As I walked by, I had several offers of sexy lads offering to "take care of all of me." I wasn't sure if t…

From The Nation The pro-democracy group Free Gender TH announced this week that the pro-LGBTQ+ rally called “Pride Parade” would be held at Bangkok’s Sam Yan intersection at 4pm on Saturday. The group also informed via its Facebook that the rally would move on 5pm from the Sam Yan to the Silom intersection, a distance of about a kilometre. The Free Gender TH implied on its social media that the “pride” in the parade does not only mean pride of LGBTQ+ people. The word resonates with the Thai word “pride" which means "people”. =============================================== Khaosod English's Facebook page is covering this event live.

We are moving beyond the dual login program with a front end and back end site. It will be single login but no profiles on front end. The log in for the forum will be the "master" log in and you can log in to review businesses, etc. It is a slow moving machine. But, here is a taste of what was once Gay Thailand and now Gay Guides. The link is to the gay Bangkok city but click the top to see other areas. https://www.gayguides.com/wp/gay-bangkok-gay-thailand/

How fast things change. I was in Soi 4 briefly today, and later in Soi 6 and observed the following: Banana Bar on Soi 4 as well as the gogo bar upstairs are permanently closed. The door was open and I could see the interior has already been largely dismantled. The Spanish restaurant on the right hand side (I think Tapas was the name) is no more. Instead, there is already a brand new gay bar & restaurant named "pride" (not really a very creative name I find, but so what) Super A was closed, if permanently or just tonight I couldn't tell (was riding on my bike, so no closer look) Golden Cock is in the process of being closed down. BUT: apparen…

Day 1: First, I like Pattaya. But, I like Bangkok more. However, I have great friends in Pattaya that I adore. Jupiter Boy and I decided to go to Pattaya for a few days to spend time with my dear friend to celebrate his birthday. I've met so few guys in my travels that I truly adore but he is one of the ones at the top of my list. And, I wanted to say HBD to him in person. Jupiter Boy was excited at the idea of a vacation outside of Bangkok. We left early thinking we would take the Motorway the entire way but noticed the hood flapping so I exited and shut it. (I had pressed the wrong button when getting gas. No big issue but at 110 kph, I didn't want a prob…

  20. As reported elsewhere in these forums, there recently have been demonstrations in Bangkok. On Thursday 15 the government instituted a "severe State of Emergency" in Bangkok for the next 30 days. Now there may be sanctions if these are discussed publicly and on social media. The Prime Minster stated yesterday - https://thepattayanews.com/2020/10/16/severe-state-of-emergency-in-bangkok-initially-implemented-for-a-month-to-maintain-peace-and-order-thailands-prime-minister-says-today/

It has been six months since I last saw a movie in a movie theater. If you read between the lines in a few of walk around gay Bangkok stories, the Jupiter boy and I are having a bit of fun together (or I am having fun with him at least). We decided to venture to the movie as neither of us have seen anything since Covid. We went to Central Bangna and were checked for temps at the door and had to scan in. The mall was pretty busy and parking we had to go to the top floor. The movie itself was not busy and pretty vacant. They do have a vacant seat between every 2 seats to space people out properly. But, not that many were there. It felt nice to be in gay Thailand and ou…

From The Thaiger TAT announces update to compulsory Covid-19 insurance for foreign visitors The Tourism Authority of Thailand has announced today an update about compulsory Covid-19 insurance. They say it’s now “conveniently” available online in a one-stop-shop. Up to now the compulsory Covid-19 insurance, a pre-requisite before foreigners can come to Thailand, under any visa, was through selected insurance providers at their own websites. The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission has allowed the review of its policy, making it easier to find and purchase the compulsory insurance. “Foreign travellers will enjoy the following advantages of purc…
