Now the disappointment: I went to hi club karaoke on my street at 10 pm and was the only customer for 1 hour and a half with 10 boys there. Good experience. Now you know the difference between gogo bars and karaoke. The boys in karaoke are there to entertain the customers. I can't believe that a staff would tell you anything that bad. The other customers won't tell you to have a look somewhere else even if they think so. This is the nice aspect of Thai and Asian culture: they are much more polite and respectful than the people in any of our western country.

Update about the 9-teen massage shops in silom.

The 9-teen massage shop, on Thanon Silom corner with soi 6 is still busy with customers. I have been there twice when Prime Massage had no availability for me and a friend.
