  1. I don't know if there's any interest for this type of post on this forum. I understand how some are very defensive when it comes to Thailand and take offence to anyone comparing Thailand to another destination. This post is not a Thailand bashing post, its a post about a long time Thailand tourist giving Brazil a try. After many years of visiting Thailand and reading travel reports of people who not only visited Thailand but other exotic destinations, I felt it was time for me to try another place. I could not decide right away if I was going to visit Mexico or Brazil but after reading newspapers, TripAdvisor reports, and trip reports on boytoy.com. I decided on Brazil. At the time of this post 100 Brazilian reals equaled $24.70 USD. That weighed a lot with my decision since the moneyboys of Brazil seem to ask around that amount for an hour's worth of fun. Ihttps://www.vivalocal.com/acompanhantes-gays/rio-de-janeiro-capital/t+5 i also found some very nice Airbnb rentals near the beach for less than $40 a night with excellent reviews. For a few weeks I have been chatting with some Brazilian guys on PlanetRomeo. I'd say seven of the ten guys I am talking to are money boys. Two of the 10 guys I am talking to can speak English the remaining eight requires my use of a translator. Unlike the tie guys I talk to I take for granted not needing a translation app. The bodies and the bulges of the guys in Brazil speak for themselves. That is another reason why I decided on Brazil rather than Mexico. I'm all set to buy my ticket and I'm kicking myself for not buying it last week when I came across the irate for $900 with only one stop in Miami. Now that same flight is $1,300. For the fun of it I changed my airport destination to Bangkok and quickly came back with a ticket cost I'll $700 on Qatar airways. I am so tempted to say the hell with it and go to Thailand but I'm determined to see what else is out there. If there is any interest I'll continue this thread as I move forward with my planning and travel to Brazil and post the good and the bad as well as the stupid mistakes I make along the way.

I'd not call them lazy , enterprising rather. I don't blame them for those requests, after all most of them are poor by our standards and often by Thai standards as well. All of us rather make twice as much in half demanding job than we have so we can't blame guys for taking easy highway. It's up to us to succumb to requests or by-pass them. as much as I sympathize with their plight I'm in reject camp , mainly because I tend to pay them generously when using their company when there and quite often they can make more money off me but they rather have fun somewhere else. ( "I can't do long time because I go with friends , I can't come at 2 p.m. because I need to go to gym , I need to go at 6 am because of traffic " being most common type of excuses ). At end of day this comes easy for me as I usually don't share my contact with guys and few times I did , yes sooner or later I was invited to support their lifestyle one way or another.

Western Union is immediately done and the boy can take it from one of their branches . From my experience if you send once endless requests for more money will follow . Forget about the boy and move on it will save you money and troubles.

    Vanishing Bangkok

From the Bangkok Post A tale of two cities Old Customs House There is no room for nostalgia in modern Thailand. At least, that's what the prevailing attitude in the capital appears to have been in recent decades, as its rapid development has continued apace. Grand old buildings, temples, villages and other heritage structures have been knocked down to make way for roads, urban rail, high-rises, condominiums and glitzy shopping malls. This has spread far beyond the capital, with towns and cities up and down the country embracing the trappings of modernity. Dazzled by all these new projects, many have forgotten how to appreciate the beauty of traditional forms of architecture. In an attempt to recapture the magic of old Bangkok and to raise awareness of the rich heritage of its old buildings and structures, British photographer and writer Ben Davies is releasing a book titled Vanishing Bangkok: The Changing Face Of The City. Vanishing Bangkok is a collection of black and white photographs shot over the past five years in a large format Linhof film camera. The book's publication will be followed by a photo exhibition, scheduled to take place at River City Bangkok Gallery during March and April of next year. "It's a fairly natural progression on what I've done before, which was looking at the old, changing traditions and ways of life. And it was really brought on by the speed at which Bangkok is changing," said Davies, who has lived in Thailand for almost 20 years. "We're just seeing this incredible transformation with shopping malls and condominiums. [But] rather than photograph that side, I went out and strolled the city looking for the old bits of Bangkok, the 236-year-old building in the city that people think has no history. I wanted to document what was left of this old side of the city." Vanishing Bangkok reveals the classic beauty and rich history of the city. From the photographs of old buildings along the banks of the Chao Phraya River to the teeming alleyways of Chinatown, narrow side streets of Talat Noi, sleepy canals and dilapidated buildings shrouded in antiquity, the book reveals the hidden charm, extraordinary history and diversity of this great city. Inspired by the stunning old architecture in cities like Hanoi, Yangon or Luang Prabang, Davies was driven to see what he could find in Bangkok. He explored the city on foot and by motorbike looking for curiosities in every corner. What he discovered is that, thankfully, there is still an extraordinary amount of the old city left, although much of it is hidden away in small pockets rather than in big areas. Davies believes it is well worth preserving. Bangkok continues to change rapidly. A decade from now, much of the city will be virtually unrecognisable. Many of the old buildings and neighbourhoods featured in the book may, sadly, be consigned to history. Indeed, Davies said that maybe 10 to 15% of the sites he documented have already gone. The Old Customs House, located along the Chao Phraya River between the Mandarin Oriental Hotel and the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel, will soon share the same fate. Built in the 1880s, it's one of the city's oldest properties. Continues with many photos https://www.bangkokpost.com/life/social-and-lifestyle/1734079/a-tale-of-two-cities

  6. Boa tarde fellas! SInce my first visit to Rio about 5 years ago (and my near-accidental discovery of 117 on our last day of the trip) I've been dragging my (less slutty) husband there a couple times a year. Well, this time, he's off to Asia and I'm on my own....(a little scary for a few reasons...) I arrive to Rio on Thursday morning (Aug 29), probably the worst day, having just missed Mon, Tues, Wed! The 3 ways I like to hookup there are: 1. sauna com boys (so easy and convenient you get to see and talk to the guy first.) Question 1. How's the Lion's Sauna going? I know it just opened, but is it worth going and what nights? 2. Free hookups from Grindr (nothing beats the energy of a guy who's into it not just for the money) Question 2: I usually stay in an Airbnb, I found Copacabana full of tourists on Grindr, Gloria and Lapa have been better; anyone stayed downtown to get the office crowds during the day? 3. Callboys from Internet sites Garotoscomlocal mostly but also, garotolandia, netgay, vivalocal, rentmen. This I have the least experience with, Ive done more in Sao Paulo because I have found the Lagoa boys kinda lackluster and the ones online really high quality (a bit more expensive, but I don't mind paying a little more if it's going to be a really exceptional experience.) Question 3: Which site is best? Any qualms or safety tips about having them come over your place or going over theirs? (I don't travel with any valuables except I do value my life and safety haha) Any worries about "fake" ads by guys who want to rob/hurt/kidnap you? Thanks guys! Any other new or interesting updates are welcome Obrigado! P.S. lastly but not least, does anyone know Piedro below I met him in 2017 and he really is my favorite ever. Nicest guy. His mobile never worked after the next visit. does anyone know how I can get in touch with Piedro? [edit: sorry I didn't mean to make the pictures so big!]

    Silicone Dick?

No, abidismaili, the poor lad's penis is not cut off and replaced with a silicone version. Basically some form of liquid such as silicone, oil, paraffin, etc is injected into the outer skin of the penis which then form a bulge or lump (granuloma) thus enlarging the penis and most often disfiguring it! It can be undone with surgery wherein the skin of the penis is removed (degloved) and some form of skin transplant is grafted onto the penis. Typically a flap of skin from the scrotum is used for the skin transplant. The result varies but the patient does lose his foreskin and remains circumcised. A eunuch has his testicles removed, ( castration) not his penis. Too graphic?? You can always google for more info.

It's not relevant if boys' requests are genuine or not the important issue is if you are willing to be a walking ATM for lazy boys whom are not willing to work at normal job in low season they certainly can work on temporary jobs and earn some money till the high season but it's more easy for them to extract money from naive falangs.

  11. A drawing on this Bolsonaro' suggestion appeared last week in Charlie Hebdo, a sarcartic paper published in France (a few years ago, this Newspaper was target of extremist islamists and around 10 journalists where murdered). Translation (Bolsonaro shitting on "bresilian ice cream") : - it is not good, Mr Bolsonaro, to shit on everyone - yes. It is good since I only shit once every two days to preserve environment and the planet rsrsrs as they say in Brazil !

I used Western Union but got fed up with very poor service, especially if you use their branch network in the UK. Bank to bank tends to be very expensive. Lately I've used Ria and found their service excellent. If anyone is interested, i can supply a referral code which has some mutual monetary benefit. https://mbsy.co/wV9qt However, much cheaper not to send money at all, as others have said.

  15. “God helps three kinds of people: fools, children, and drunkards.” Berthelin, Pierre Charles (1762). Abrégé du Dictionnaire universel françois et latin: vulgairement appellé Dictionnaire de Trévoux. 2. p. 253.

  16. The original quote was something like “God loves children, fools and drunkards”, and of course, some idiotic self-absorbed nationalistic Westerner had to change it to “drunks and the USA”.

  17. What was that about " God loves drunks and the United States" as why stupidity sometimes works out, if not for the best, then harmlessly. I take it as a dire warning that Trump does not drink and God has few other reasons to love him. Good article.

  18. Many non-Thai guys that we meet take this route regularly. Most try to sleep through it but others can not, aware of the risks of just such an accident. From Nation Multimedia Eleven people were killed and four others seriously injured when a chartered van carrying Lao workers for visa renewal to the Chanthaburi immigration checkpoint collided with an 18-wheel truck in Sa Kaew province early on Sunday. Police suspect Thai van driver Sansern Sathongkhan might have dozed off behind the wheel, and driven the van into the opposite lane where it crashed head-on with the oncoming truck. They found the dead bodies of the van driver and Lao passengers at the scene, many of whom were crushed in the wrecked van while some were flung out under the force of the impact. Rescue workers extricated four seriously wounded people -including three Lao passengers and the truck driver Subin Pengmoo - to rush them to the district hospital. Following the fatal crash report in Wang Somboon district at 4.15am, police and rescue workers rushed to the scene on the Sakaew-Chanthaburi Road section near the entrance to the Wang Somboon District Office. They found the dead bodies of the van driver and Lao passengers at the scene, many of whom were crushed in the wrecked van while some were flung out under the force of the impact.
