  1. Visited the shop yesterday and was greeted by Barbie. I told her the guy I was looking to book. She gave me the tablet and although I couldn’t search by number I quickly located his photo. I took a VIP room for 500 for one hour. After a very satisfactory massage, Sky was on the desk downstairs. It appears that both are promoting the shop with separate posts. I found the premises to be clean and well maintained as always. One disappointment: their website went down again 48 hours ago. The reason is unclear (based on my Google Translate conversation). They hope to develop a new one. For the moment, the process of booking in advance is less streamlined unless you can view guy’s name and/or number from published photo arrays. I intend to choose from shop tablet when I arrive for the interim. One Spa Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/people/OneSpa/100093989228505/

    Patpong comings and goings

Yesterday's observations. Screwboys now is GoodBoys but according to mamasan that is only change made. Hot Male beer bar street level at 8 .30 more staff than customers. Went to Jupiter with another member at 10.15. Singer was singing trying to.m outscream himself. What waste of talent. After 30.mi uses I was ready to leave but mercifully walkabout started. Lots of new faces, more than half never seen before which I take as good sign. Tipped most deserving for looks in my eyes hoping for some vague smile or at least an eye contact but ot to avail. So one sarcastic may say "all normal ". Had he smiled off would be in the books as I freshly exchanged money. As consolation boy I offed in July last year while sitting with another client , recognized me, smiled and came to shake hands . Made my visit there and restored himself on the "Good guys from Jupiter " list. We were only two farang in audience. At one point I counted 8 guys sitting with customers but only one of them with man. I was hoping to spot three guys but none of them in the roster yesterday. Add to this 4 guys I was hoping to see in Pattaya in previous 2 days, who were also gone at least temporarily and warning comes to mind not to count on seeing guy we are dreaming about before our trip. Show bit more progressive than used to be with ot one but two rigid members presented unobstructively. Former New Twilight and then Queens Club is now @smiles , lesbian bar for tomboys according to handsome guy who emerged from the door. Banana Club packed for the show at midnight but only 3 farangs detected including undersigned humble nobody.

  3. Halfway through a massage at Relax in Silom 8, the masseur stops everything (I hate when they do that) and starts negotiating (which I really hate) and says it will be 500 baht extra tip for him to come. I couldn't believe this as I could care less if he comes - that is not my goal here - and asked him to repeat his proposal. He repeated it. I laughed and told him if he comes he owes ME the tip! He didn't come. I did. Don't you love a story with a happy ending?

You haven't figured this out yet? Nothing more than a driveway.....could even go left out of the hotel driveway and walk by all the massage shops on Soi 6 to Silom and straight up to Soi 4..... https://www.google.com/maps/dir/119+The+Tarntawan+Hotel+Surawong,+5-10+Surawong+Rd,+Suriya+Wong,+Bang+Rak,+Bangkok+10500,+Thailand/Circus+Silom+Soi+4,+Silom+4th+Alley,+Silom,+Bang+Rak,+Bangkok,+Thailand/@13.7287376,100.5301321,18z/data=!4m15!4m14!1m5!1m1!1s0x30e29f2b57bbee03:0xfa3b367451a711f4!2m2!1d100.5302745!2d13.7291749!1m5!1m1!1s0x30e29f63da81c955:0xf8036748d5d8aa36!2m2!1d100.532753!2d13.728626!3e2!5i1?entry=ttu

  5. The fact remains: the governor literally let an avowed racist get away with murder. There is zero legitimacy that his self-appointed cronies agreed with him.

  6. I scored a very well priced Thai Airways business class ticket that has a 16 hour stopover (land 3pm and leave 7.20am) so I jumped on it as I’ve never been to Bangkok and have been very keen to sample the boy bars there. Plan is to clear immigration and store my luggage at the airport (I checked and there is a service doing this) then head into down, get some dinner then hit the clubs and hopefully off a guy or two! read about Tawan’s unfortunate closing and that they MAY be reopened by my June 5 arrival. Given they’re the main source of my type (more muscular and very fitness model types, not into twinks) was wondering if anyone could provide names of other venues that would be good to check out on a Wednesday night? Also what time is best to go out there? And one last question, given my layover I won’t be booking a hotel or sleeping, so what are the options in terms of places to take guys for an off? many thanks in advance for your collective wisdom!

  8. Quite honestly, I am shocked. Who knew that Trump had an "edit" function? Call me slow. But I had not figured that out during four years of him being POTUS. And call me crazy. But is it too much to hope that Trump and MAGA have a "delete" function as well?

The King’s Castle group (that’s behind so many of the Patpong businesses) is in process of opening a “hotel inn” in an unoccupied premises on PP1, according to a posted sign.

  10. Thanks. I’ve found that that they want you to have a good experience because that leads to repeat business. I trust my instincts and am always looking for the guys who smile and appear at ease. I keep in mind that they, too, want to come away feeling good about themselves.

  13. Confirming your findings from my walk at arround 8 pm. Two guys were already on duty on the corner. It seems , from my talk to them that they also have some hope for reopening but probability that it will be under new name was mentioned by one of them.

    One Night In Bangkok!

@pylonguy71 With careful prior research re transport options and locations, you may be able to squeeze in a massage at Arena and then book a boy from Moonlight during your layover. Given your preference for the more muscular types, these may be the least-bad options. I dare not say these are good options, because I don't know what you're expecting. The Asian body is not naturally thick like a European body, so it's much harder for an Asian to get as much mass as a European. What you may notice from this board is that (exceptions permitting) the twink lovers generally prefer Thailand and the muscle worshippers have a bias towards Brazil. @DenverDude is probably right about your luggage being tagged all the way to your final destination, so make sure you have what you need for the 16 hours in Bangkok in your carry-on. Although it may sound like a crazy idea to some others, I have done something similar before, during a 13- or 14-hour layover in Amsterdam, though it was a single cum, not twice. So it can be done. But then, I already knew the layout of the city from previous visits (making navigation much easier) whereas you're saying you've never been to Bangkok before. Arena Massage largely closes by about 9pm. I once made the mistake of getting there around 8pm and there weren't many boys left. But if your flight lands at 3pm, you may be able to make it there by 6pm which I think is their peak hour. This can be followed by a bit of dinner and then off to Moonlight for the show at 10:30pm. Get a boy by 11:30 or 12 midnight and use the short-time rooms at Suriwongse Hotel next door. Leave for the airport around 4am, perhaps? However, I don't think the short-time rooms are available for more than 1 or 2 hours, so it may be better to get a regular room in Suriwongse. It's going to be basic, but probably good enough for a few hours. Alternatively, the Raya Hotel almost across the street from Moonlight (it only has regular rooms, not short-time rooms). To make this work, you will need to understand the locations well, the transport system and have enough cash. It's a little worrying that you're not asking these logistical questions.

  15. Had a wonderful skilled massage and afters on Silom Soi 6 last night. The guys are mostly outside shops and very approachsble. You’ll find that a surprising number are conversational in English. Don’t hesitate to chat them up.

  16. I went past about 5 pm yesterday but saw no sign of any work being done inside. That said, while another shop about 2 - 3 doors away had a "For sale/rent" sign on its shutters, Tawan's unit didn't have that, so it's not (yet) for sale/rent? That might be a teeny weeny straw we can clutch on to for the time being.

  18. Yeah, so you think that given that: - it was the United States that vaporized tens of thousands of Japanese in a nuclear bombing and doomed hundreds of thousands more to death from burns and radiation, and thereby proved that they could use nuclear weapons again at any moment, - it was the United States that placed nuclear arsenals around the world, but the problem is that the Russian Federation has nuclear weapons and remind about it?

  20. @Young11 Yes. Chapigay is literally how the locals refer to the neighbourhood. Chapigay colloquially is the barrio within Chapinero where all of the gay saunas, bars, discos and restaurants can be found. Chapinero barrio is everything between Calle 72 (to the north) to Calle 26 (south), and between Calle 1 (above in the the hills) to Avenida Cra 30 which is technically the main North - South transportation conduit in the city (and where the new metro line is being built). Chapigay zona is a much more condensed. You can focus on the area between Calle 66 in the north to Calle 58 Bis (precisely the street entrance to Theatrón) in the south. Everything is located between Carrera 13 and Carrera 7 to the West and East respectively. So if you book something within walking distance to these locators, you will be just fine. To be fair, there are other places outside of this neighbourhood, but this should be enough to keep you busy for a first tour. For fun I searched Google for a map of Chapigay to get you started. https://www.google.com/maps/search/chapigay+bogota/@4.6432589,-74.0606375,16z/data=!3m1!4b1?entry=ttu The best resource for events-bars-saunas is the Guia Gay Colombia but it is only available in español https://www.guiagaycolombia.com/ Good luck with your planning.

  23. Slovakia's vehemently anti-LGBT prime minister was shot in a city in the central part of his country today. No tears from me. https://www.france24.com/en/live-news/20230926-slovakia-campaign-rhetoric-raises-lgbtq-concern "While the progressive Misho (Michal) decides whether he is a boy, a girl or a helicopter today, for us gender ideology in schools is unacceptable and marriage is a unique union between a man and a woman," a smiling Fico says to the camera. "I will certainly never be a supporter of them (LGBTQ people) being able to marry, as we see in other countries," Fico told a press conference recently. As same-sex partnerships are not regulated by law, LGBTQ people in Slovakia are not legally considered related to their partner and cannot, for example, obtain information about their health, or inherit. Slovakia also does not recognize marriages contracted abroad. Martin Macko, executive director of the Inakost ("Otherness") Initiative, an umbrella organisation of Slovak gay and lesbian organisations, voiced concern about the rhetoric from Smer-SD. "Smer-SD not only uses the spread of hatred towards LGBTQ people in its campaign but also pledged in its programme to enforce legislation that prohibits talking about LGBTQ people in schools," Macko told AFP. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/slovakia-prime-minister-robert-fico-shot/ Hate begets hate.
