  1. I went by Gaya last night and it was great. Over 10 very handsome boys. Massages are 1.5 hours for 800 baht. Every boy said they could do everything. The place is located around the corner from Bangkok Hospital. It is very clean. The boys were handsome and a wide variety. The place is a bit out of the way but easy to find if you have the directions. Our driver took us right there. Soi Hua Hin 92 089 925 6444 Open from 2PM to Midnight Give this place a try if you are in Hua Hin and need a massage or a happy ending or both!

  2. Wanting to try something a bit different, the BF and I took up residence last night at the Holiday Inn Express. It is on the same road as Siam Paragon and MBK. It is within walking distance of MBK. It is a nice, clean hotel. There are no doormen but for the price, totally worth trucking your own luggage up to your room. The Internet is fast and FREE. The free breakfast was OK. Nothing special and noting to write home about but it was fine for me. What was really great is the Opening Price special. 1999 baht per night. This is a great deal IMHO for a really clean, nice hotel in the middle of Bangkok that is easy to get to all the shopping centers and th…

There is an application for the IPhone and other mobile devices I saw in use for the first time last night. It is called Grindr. It logs you on and shows the closest distance to other Grindr users. It was accurate within about 15 feet. Pretty impressive IMHO. But, there are few that were on last night.

  4. The boyfriend got an early birthday present this year, a new IPad 3. He loves it. Since I want him to always have Internet, we carried it to MBK today to get a sim card and get it set up. The sim card cost 150 baht. We choose True as we were told their data and Internet speeds were great. You get free 70MB of data before you have to pay. We tested the speed and it was 10MB download speed which really did surprise me. Several other tests today were from 3MB to 10MB. It worked like a charm. All he needs is access to his email, facebook, games, etc so this was perfect. I don't expect the speeds to be the same when we test in Pattaya or his home, but I'll let …

Lady Gaga has met Thailand's premier ladyboys at a Bangkok drag show featuring busty dancers who were not born that way . . . But not all cities will greet Lady Gaga as warmly as Thailand. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/25/lady-gaga-thai-lady-boys_n_1545407.html

I got an email recently to inform me that Albury Massage is moving to a new address. From the first of June it will be in Sukhumvit Soi 26. The BTS stop will now be Phrom Phrong, however looking at the map, it will be closer to the Rama IV end of Soi 26 than the Sukhumvit end, so it might be as handy to approach from that direction. Full address is: 66/2 Sukhumvit Soi 26.

British Airways is currently running an ad campaign in the Thai media about their ultra cheap return fares to Europe. Just Bt. 21,000 to get to London plus a host of other cities. It's all lies! That price clearly omits all the extras that BA, the UK government and the EU slap on to air tickets, plus the fact that Heathrow is about the world's most expensive airport to fly in or out of. So I ran a check. Lots of tickets at that price in June to London and Rome - BUT Bangkok/London Ticket: 21,000 Taxes, Surcharges etc: 18,860 TOTAL: 39,860 Bangkok/Rome (via London) Ticket: 21,000 Taxes, Surcharges etc: 17,965 TOTAL: 38,965 Having compared these price…

  8. Went to 3 bars tonight. Cost for drinks are 250 baht except for Dream Boys which was 330 baht. All IMHO too much and crazy to pay on a regular basis and thus why I don't frequent these bars or areas. XBoys is great. Good atmosphere, sexy boys, lots of activity. The music was really loud and noisy but they make up for that with sexy guys. XSize was the best tonight. They only had around 35 or so boys but they were friendly, sexy and attentive. I had 2 boys over for drinks and took one of them off. They were both sweet and sexy and very affectionate at the bar. The off fee was 400 baht. Dream Boys is the same as always. Good show, handsome guys and expens…

  9. I am so glad I took this flight. It was so easy and comfortable. First, no lines at LAX for baggage. A breeze. The VIP Lounge was OK but nothing special. The plane ride was fantastic. The seats were very comfortable and laid all the way down. It was the best ride I had in Business Class in ages. I was able to lay face down and there was room for my wide ass and my 6'3" body. The Video monitors were the biggest I have seen and very easy to control. They were clear and enjoyable. They did NOT have a large variety of videos so if you are going to Seoul and then to Bangkok, bring something to read or another video for your PC. The Business Class seats had…

According to the TAT, Pattaya last year had 7 million tourists (no wonder traffic is appalling!). Russians made up the highest number, followed by Chinese at 1.23 million (up from 785,553 in 2010 - despite the flood crisis), then Europeans, and coming up fast, Indians. In the country as a whole, Chinese have now overtaken Russians as the largest single group arriving by air, with an increase of 23.55% in the first four months of this year alone. But ripping off Chinese tourists is on the increase in Pattaya, and so the TAT has had talks with local business operators and the Chinese Embassy to find ways of tackling the problems. The Chinese Ambassador pointed out …

I had a bit of a ‘turn’ this afternoon. I swear my heart skipped several beats. As I was sipping an espresso in Starbucks at the top of Sathorn, in walked four tall, slim handsome guys dressed in crisp white short-sleeved sailors’ shore dress. I do wish more guys would wear white pants. Even when not tight-fitting, they are so much more revealing of the body shape than tight black jeans. I must have been gawking so much I nearly spilled what was left of my coffee! At first I thought they might be Chinese as they were all carrying cameras and taking photos of the Starbucks Thailand mugs. Then I realised they were Korean. Forget the boy bands! Two of these guys…

I had been led to believe that the President and CEO of THAI was pretty successful in helping turn the airline around. He certainly increased profits and improved the management of the airline. According to the Board who yesterday voted 12-0 to fire him, however, there had been “communications problems” with his fellow Board members. Far more likely, it seems, is that Khun Piyasvasti was fired for a mix of political reasons and his investigations into corruption in the airline – classic reasons in Thailand for firing successful CEOs. In my view, the thought of individual Board members micromanaging THAI’s operations doesn’t bode well for the future of the airline’s tu…

2-Baht Coins have never worked in Thailand. Someone obviously wants them because, according to the Bangkok Post, they have appeared in three different incarnations over the last 23 years. The latest version came out a few years back after, we were told, extensive testing, although testing of what was never explained. It was an instant disaster. Too close in size to the one-baht coin, many people used markers to print an large ungainly '2' on them. Eventually, those who should have known better reissued them in a more copper colour. Much easier to differentiate, but no-one ever took to them. Now comes news that the coin is being withdrawn. So, once again, Thailand'…

This is an example of why Khun Paisarn won an OUT iT Award: Homophobia and prejudice: It's time to kil the hate Paisarn Likhitpreechakul Special to The Nation May 17, 2012 1:00 am While LGBT Americans last week celebrated President Obama's statement of support for same-sex marriage, Thai lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders could only look on with envy, as Thailand is perhaps decades away from having a leader with such moral courage. In fact, the opposite is true here. Homophobia and transphobia is the rule in Thai politics. When his interior minister, Purachai Piamsomboon, mulled about legalising gay marriage some years ago, then PM Thaksin Shin…

Despite what we all know about the importance of getting regular HIV tests so that drug therapy treatment can start in the disease's early stages, there are still a lot of msm who, for one reason or another, fail to get tested. One reason is probably a sort-of fear factor - if I don't know, maybe there's less chance of my being infected(!). Another is the fear that perhaps anonymous testing is not all that anonymous and that my name will get its way onto an Immigration list. I am sure there are others. Now, though, like the home pregnancy test before it, a panel of experts has approved a home HIV-testing kit. It is, they say, both safe and effective, although they…

Why are the guys who run this place such stupid assholes. They tood a perfectly good site and ruined it. Have you noticed how few good posters are on here now. Only fountainhall now posts anything worth reading.

  22. You guys have been wonderful in giving me information and I hope some can help with this. I am going to India. I want to take my Thai BF. Does he need a visa? Is it hard for him to get? Would I be able to get it fast? Is Visa on Entry possible?

  23. Are most of the bars full? Lots of things going on? It is getting slow for the boys? Have most of them returned home for the "low season"?

  24. With travel getting more and more expensive, esp for those of us that use the USD, hotels are one major expense. I noticed on my last trip to Brazil the average room was 400 USD for Rio and Sao Paulo. I have to admit that Firecat was right, Rio is now too expensive to enjoy. (don't tell him I said that) Here is an interesting article from the Telegraph: The average cost of a night in the Brazilian city during the first three months of 2012 was £192.88, nearly 50 per cent more expensive than during the same period last year. The cheapest destinations to feature in the study were Bangkok, Prague and Beijing, where a hotel typically cost just under £50 a night.…
