Having coffee with a friend today I mentioned my next trip will be to the Phillipines, immediately he started ranting about street crime etc etc and how safe Thailand is particularly Pattaya compared to most tourist places of the World. And i have to admit he is probably right. I have never really felt threatened in Thailand particularly Pattaya. I have been scared or a little fearful though mostly when walking thru straight farang areas particularly in the early hours. I made the mistake once of walking through Walking street in the very early hours getting a few shoulder hits by drunk farangs walking past wanting to look for a fight ,luckily im a coward a…

What are your experiences with going out with boys? Sometimes when I’m in the mood for a night out, I’ll suggest a second venue for drinks - boy’s choice. I’ve been brought to some interesting places I’d never have ventured to on my own. It’s great fun. There are a couple of boys who are now comfortable enough with me to suggest “I call my friends?”. They enjoy themselves alot more when they have friends to chatter with, not just the boring farang with a language barrier. I never say no (extra boys with no tip!) but since we have been on the subject of tipping, the drinks do tend to add up especially when I see main boy light up when I open a bottle for them. I don’t…

What on earth is going on with outside karaoke at the BBB terrace? I was sitting at the Serene bar with my off for the evening from A-Bomb, enjoying people watching and the comings and goings at the corner of the Boyztown soi, when a middle aged falang picked up a microphone and proceeded to murder "My Way" while prancing around the corner of the terrace. It was mildy amusing at first but soon became very annoying, especially when he started a second song. We drank up and left. It takes a special sort of ego to inflict your mediocre singing voice on an unwilling audience. Bring back the BBoys outside show, at least they're cute and talented.

Could be an option for those that catch taxis and don't use the airport link BTS (like me), Certainly looks interesting http://www.thaitravelblogs.com/2018/11/airport-limobus-express-service-launched-at-don-mueang-and-suvarnabhumi-airports/?fbclid=IwAR1QrwKdoYgx2Fhox-IVoj-duBwhbNVULhMYj89A_ckUnXeWWav2WhjU3N4

I'll be in Thailand from 16 November to 1 December. In Pattaya from the 16th to 21st or 22nd, then in Bangkok for the remainder. Enjoy meeting other Forum members. Send me a PM if you'd like to meet up. Note: PaulSF is home (or on his way) and I'll missing sitting with him at Maxi's.

Now, I'm sure we have had any number of restaurant threads over the years, but there is nothing wrong with being current. Let's have some updates on places like Maxis, Madrid Tavern, etc. For instance, last time I stayed in Bangkok there was no restaurant in Foodland. Is it very basic, are there western dishes? There are lots of Vietnamese guys is there a decent Vietnamese place to take one? We all eat but how do we handle it? Do you rely on street vendors; there's a large congregation in Thaniya - reliable? If you don't speak Thai how do you maneuver? I assume no menus let alone tourist ones. I remember vendors serving that wonderful Chiang Mai grilled chick…

PLEASE HELP ME... No, I am not looking for help. I seem to be hearing that phrase from a lot of my Thailand one night stands. I am not helping, I don't even ask why they need my help. When I first started receiving the requests I replied explaining that I only knew them for 1 hour and they are almost strangers. I suggest they talk to their friends or family for help. One guy in Bangkok asked for just 1500 baht. I reminded him that he is handsome with a big cock and could easily get 1500 baht. He told me he does not want sex money, he wants help money. I reminded him that we don't even know each others name... Now I don't even reply to the request. I wai…

My first day in Pattaya started with my traditional trip to the Blind Massage place in Jomtien centre. Sadly my favourite masseur was only available for one hour rather than my preferred two hours, but I guess one hour is better than nothing. Later on I ventured into Pattaya for various beauty treatments at the Royal Garden shopping centre. On my way back, I passed Pawanthip massage (just to the right of the Mike Hotel) and a cute guy got my attention. I have decided on this holiday to strike while the iron is hot - too many times I've decided the time isn't right and returned the following day to find no trace of the original attraction. I think it made his day;…

Having planned to be in both Bangkok and Pattaya, I started my usual hunt for boys on Hornet a week before arrival. My ideal age is 18 -23, slim, twinky bottom types. I find sometimes that an initial ‘You want Sex?’ can first be met with ‘No’, but if you chat for a day or two, it can become a ‘Yes’, and then a ‘Yes Please’…. So the advance Hornet search narrowed down to two boys, both keen to meet, both early twenties twinky types. Boy 1 and Boy 2 – 28th October. Already lined up, chatted up, and both Boy 1 and Boy 2 keen to meet. Neither are money boys. One is a student, the other working in the ubiquitous Central. Photos give preference to Boy 2, so stall Boy …

Last year October/November was my first time to Thailand (Bangkok and Phuket). I'm considering another trip around the same time this year. I want to do a different beach destination this time and was considering Krabi. Mostly just looking to relax on the beach, but want a little fun too. I'm not finding much info on "Gay Krabi". Anyone have any advice? Or is there another beach destination (not including Phuket) that I should consider?

I will be back in Bangkok for one night on Saturday before I head home Sunday morning. As I have an early'ish flight (940am - early for me) I had planned to stay near the airport but now decided I want to stay near the action. Anyone recommend one of the above hotels over the other? Or another hotel in the area?

One night I was headed back to my room. I'd just finished seeing the show at Boyz... I had a date to meet a friend and needed to get back. I sat on the end of the bench of the baht bus, and when all seats were taken, a hot cambodian guy climbed on and stood on the carrier next to me. When we got moving he whispered that he saw me online. I smiled and nodded. He went on to whisper that he was headed to see a client. I smiled again. He told me that his customer likes groups and asked if I would be interested. I smiled and shook my head no. I think the lady next to me understood what was going on, her mood told me that she was trying to hard to act as if she didn't…

Recently one of our august members wrote this in a thread about Jomtien: "One of the pleasures of Jomtien is that it is so easy and enjoyable to walk down the main soi and decide for yourself" This started a lot of discussion about the attitude or behavior of guys in Jomtien bars. The consensus seems to be that if you enter and order a drink for yourself you are ignored. The guys face the street, their backs to the customer, and both watch the street and play with their phones. I'm used to Bangkok host bars like the older Charmming and others in Saphan Kwai( the boys are clothed and sit facing you ) and the go-go style of Soi Twilight. But, I must confess, t…

Simple thread to keep things cool. Give a song and hopefully a video link to a song that reminds you in some way of Thailand. Doesn't have to be gay but bonus points if it is. This isn't a gay song in particular but when I moved to Phuket ten years ago it was popular and reflected my life back then. It was played everywhere and I was a bit out of control.

Hi, So I've had one or two massages before, but now I'm interested in visiting Tawan and enjoying the muscular guys. I had some questions about how it works though. At a massage shop you obviously have a built in room to go to. And the prices are set. What kind of prices can I expect to pay and which would that be? I assume there's the entrance fee, and I heard about a price for 'offing' a guy? And then a tip? I was hoping someone could write a short 'guide' for me about what to expect and what I should keep in mind. Also how would it work with a room? Do they provide a private room or do you have to book somewhere? What can I expect a guy from Taw…

Hi my fellow forum, I had been at bangkok for 3 days for holiday. A relief from my stress working life. I arrived at bangkok at late night. 9pm, about that time. My AirAsia flight land at Don Mueng airport. At immigration, i noticed less tourists check in the immigration counter. I feel weird, why the thailand immigration dedicated to put 6 or 8 booths, for china tourist. For me, ASEAN booths only two. No hassle in immigration booth. Then, i feel free to enter thailand. Pick up my luggage. Go get some simcard, cost 299b for promotion. As usual, i get taxi cab from the airport, straight to Silom area. A little bit costly for night taxi ride. There, i stay …

A topic for discussing where to retire, when to retire and so on. Contributions are particularly welcome from those who are retired & anyone who has given the matter serious thought. Have you/would you move to Thailand full time ? (or elsewhere in SE Asia) Or stay there for several months a year ? Where in Thailand ? Why that location ? Advice/questions for others ? When to retire ? I am not retired. My plan is to retire in my early 50s. The idea is to start with a winter trip of several months to SE Asia and travel around slowly to try a few locations. If that goes well, I would look to take more long trips & possibly emigrate permanen…

Your typical UK bank charges about 3% for cash withdrawals outside the Single European Payment Area. [Greedy bastards] There is a mobile app based bank called Starling, which charges 0% & it takes about 5 minutes to download the app and open an account. The ATM card is supposed to follow within 5 days (I will post an update in the event there is any problem). Unlike some other similar products, there is no monthly cap on your "free" ATM withdrawals. Of course, you still have to pay the 150 baht fee to the Thai banks, but it is better than 150 baht + 3% to the UK bank. I'm not aware of any UK bank which reimburses the 150 baht (apparently some US bank…

Hey, first of all: Thanks for that blog. I plan a trip to Thailand, have never been there, so I looked to some forum entries for some basic information, but I didn't find - too many entries here! :-) So please don't mind for these silly questions. I am a single traveler and I do like Thaiboys, so I just want to know what is the usual tip for a boy for sex - how much money do they expect? Are the tips the same in Bangkok and Pattaya and what would you say: is it better for me as a solo traveler looking for the boys to go to Bangkok or to Pattaya? Can you recommend any places for sex and is there a possibility to have group sex? ;-) I am sure you all know this a…
