I think it's not much of an explicit sex in dance floor event. More of a drugs in the dance floor event and sex afterwards at the after party.

Hey guys,
Not a lot of things makes me happy these days. As the situation in my home country of Israel developes, I become more pessimistic about the future. Since October I'm drafted to the army and I expect that to end in several weeks.
One thing that does make me happy, is planning. Due to the fragility of the situation, this trip has a high cancelation risk, so I'm booking it with full cancelation terms. After getting my husband approval, I'm booked for Songkran weekend in Bangkok! I'm expecting massive GCircuit parties and also will attend the Martin Garix set on the Siam Songkran event.
First question, advice on lodging? Any particular advice regarding Songkran? I'm debating between Le Meridien, W, or staying near the GCircuit parties that will happen at the EmSphere on Sukhumvit.
Also, any specific Songkran advice will be highly appreciated.

I think you mean MAD with AirEuropa. Problem with that flight is that the return leg is at 2PM which is bad for a night's sleep. ITA in both directions starts at the evening which is a better option on my opinion.

Well, if I didn't get my trip as planned, I might as well relish on the memories of what did happen.
My first trip to SP was planned for April 2020. That trip of course was canceled. Recently I realized that I can squeeze in a 2-week trip somewhere in the world. I kindly asked my husband his approval for a solo trip while he stays home with our kids. After his approval I started planning and planning and planning. In Hebrew there's a saying that is roughly translated to: man makes plans, and God laughs. That was so true this time.
Booked a return ticket TLV->FCO->GRU with ITA business class since they gave a really good fare of 2500$. Flight was OK and I landed in GRU morning of Oct 5th. Checked in at the intercontinental. I think my money could do better. The hotel is totally fine but rather old. Went to a stroll in Paulista Av and was unimpressed.
At about 5PM I decided it's my time for Lagoa. Was there a total of probably 2-3 hours. I know that making an impression based on one visit is totally misleading – but unfortunately that was my only opportunity to visit. Lagoa was kind of packed that evening. Way more Garatos than clients. But – very few if any of them were the guys I hoped to meet there. My type is muscle adonis guys which by what I read Lagoa is THE place for that. Well at that night it wasn't like that. But it was indeed OK and I didn't allow my self to leave before having one programa with a guy that was both sweet and my kind of type. That whole experience was fine but I expected more and planned on revisiting. It is possible that I expected too much or that it is just a one time miss.
From there I took a taxi to Chili sauna. That place was wayyyy better. I was surprised by the facility size and high maintenance. But what surprised me more was the amount and quality of the crowd. Lot’s of guys there on a Thursday night. Crowd is friendly, hot, and engaging. I have been to ALL major saunas in Europe – this one exceeds them all in terms of crowd and facility. Spent there about five hours and had to force my self to leave lol. Security near the facility is high and it is encouraged to book the Uber from inside the facility and going straight in the car since it is rather scary outside that place.
Morning after I went to a guided city bike tour. It was supposed to be a group tour but I was the only one enrolled that day which was excellent. My guide took me around the city stopping in major sights. It was a good way to experience the city and I came back to the hotel tired and satisfied. That afternoon was my time to try an online services. I saw on Gridndr a guy I also knew from OF. This guy was exactly the prototype of a guy I’m looking for in Lagoa and he was also incredibly handsome. I went to his place which was near my hotel and that session was incredibly hot. Passionate, fun, sexy. 10 out of 10.
When evening came I went back to chilli. That evening and night that place was more packed as you’d expect from a Friday night. Again a great night and from there went at 1AM to a nice party near by with a guy I knew from home and saw on Grindr that he was also in SP. It was his last night here before returning home so we decided to party together.
We danced and had fun and about 2AM SP time we both got the first text from home. Missiles at TLV. I thought to myself, that happens once a year, hopefully it will be just that missile. We kept dancing. 10 minutes later I got the first and only video I actually watched from that massacre. I immediately returned to my hotel. I felt so bad I just wanted home. At that moment I realized this trip is over. My husband told me that maybe I should wait another day before returning but I could not bare the fact not being close to my family at that time. I packed and took a Taxi to GRU. 30 hours later I got home. My husband and I had half an hour together before he got drafted. Situation is shit. But at least I’m home with my family.

After canceling my April 2020 trip to Brazil, it's now time for my first dip.
I've got most of the info I need from this forums so big thanks to all. 39 yo Israeli here.
My itinerary is spending this weekend (5 to 9 oct) in SP, mid week rio (9 to 13) and returning for next weekend to SP (13 to 16 oct) with one night at Tomorrowland. It would be great to meet someone from this forum and go to the GP sauna or any other adventure, PM me if interested. I'll also go clubbing and to the regular saunas.
One piece of info I didn't find here or any other online resource is regarding gyms. I'll be staying in Paulista Av in SP and Ipanema in Rio. I'm looking for a gay gym. And by gay gym, I mean a gym that is a regular preferably high end gym that is also frequented by a high concentration of gay guys. That combination usually leads to shower fun / steam room action. For reference, imagine the old David Burton gym in NYC. Any inspiration or suggestions on where should I workout?

Hey guys,
I recently came back from a 12 day BKK-SAMUI family trip. Since the vast majority of my trip was child related activities, I'll spare you the report.
In BKK I had the opportunity to go 3 times to massage places. Since I had zero place for spontaneity I pre booked them online. I Lined with all the recommended massage places and found my types (Asian Muscle) in 2 places: Jay Spa & S'sense Suan Plu.
S'sense – I first booked Singha. 90m massage was heaven with him. When I wanted to book him again he was unavailable so I booked Knott – and it was just as satisfying. Great men & great place. 1150 THB for the house and minimum 800 THB for the guy (I gave them both double than that).
Jay – I booked Phong - 2000 THB minimum tip as Jay Spa wrote me. He is built perfectly in my opinion. But I wouldn't call that a massage nor did he succeed on bottoming as he said. It was all and all OK but I would not repeat. My husband picked a stunner there for a minimum tip of 3K. Guy's name was Veel and my husband was satisfied.
That’s about it. Was unable to fulfil all the usual stuff I get to do in BKK. But in just one more month I will get my compensation as my husband gave me his blessing for a 2 week Rio & Sao Paulo solo trip.

Oh not ready at all. Basically TLV is nowadays one big construction site. They say first metro ride should start mid 2023 but that still means they'll be building in the next decade or so. If anyone plans a visit here come with some patience

Lets wrap up this trip report!
Day 4
Again, my alarm woke us for at breakfast 10:15AM. This time after not enough sleep, so we go, eat like zombies and return for another 2-hour sleep. After we wake up, I again tell V I’ll be out till night and this time will return by 11PM.
I arrive to meet my friend at Cahtuchak weekend market. Although he lives several years in Thailand, he had never been there. For me it is probably the 4th or 5th time there. I’m getting better at doing that experience and I bought an additional suitcase right upon arrival. After about 2 hours my suitcase (which was a big one!) was full of clothes, toys and other stuff for my daughter, husband and myself. I also bought a small present for V as I knew tomorrow, we say our goodbyes. From there I managed to drag my friend for a late lunch at the Ari area since I had business there. And by business, I mean Chakran. Had Shabu Shabu and scheduled to meet tomorrow for more shopping at the Emporium mall.
What I really like about Chakran is that you get 2 for 1 in the same compound. You can get a massage from what is usually a very good variety, and/or you can enter the sauna. I arrived there at 6PM with a two-hour time gap from my next plan so I decided I’ll first have a look at the massage at VCK’s and if I’ll see a stunner, I’ll go for the massage otherwise I’ll enter the sauna. I shared with the manager my plans upon arrival and he took good care of me, he stored my shopping luggage and took me to see the guys on display. He also mentioned that the Chakran compound is now also a hotel. With guests getting free all access to the place’s facilities. That reminded me of Babylon but I don’t think they’ll be able to pull it off the same way – Location Location Location. Ari is just too far away from the other gay points of interests. Anyways, I wished him luck with that and went with him to see the guys. About 10 guys on display, mostly handsome twunks. If I had more time I’d stay for a combo of massage and sauna but having to choose I decided to go to the sauna. Guys on display were of good choice but just no one there, at that time, that made me wanna skip the HOMO FOMO of not going to the sauna. Entered Chakran, about 50 guys on site, with a couple of foreigners besides me. I had my share of fun there, not anything that blew my mind but enough to say that I was happy to leave and I think that place has the best product to offer now in the post Babylon era.
I leave for Soi 4 and meet another old friend from another trip report for drinks at Pride bar. Even though it’s Sunday Eve, Soi 4 is still pleasantly full with people. After that I meet V at my room to discover he too bought me a present, so we exchange gifts. It’s my last night so we decide to go to GOD for a quickie. We arrive to GOD to discover an almost empty and open club. I love that and V is disappointed. For me, clubbing is more for the music than about the crowd and I prefer, especially nowadays, to have my space. We enjoy dancing and at 1:20 when the lights turn on, we go back to the room.
That night’s sex is V wanting to please me. I always ask V what are his “likes and don’t likes” about sex, in order to know what turns him on or off. When I am presented with a similar question, I am able to produce a long-detailed list of things that I like or don’t. I arrive at Sabaideespa just to actually see that the stunning guy in the picture is indeed stunning in real. If you want also to admire that guy’s beauty and body, you can either PM me (I don’t feel comfortable posting his pics in public) or send a Line to Sabaideespa enquiring about “Mr A.”. This seems like a case of guy that has little experience if any in the massage scene but his presence compensated on that. In this case a 90 mins turned to be 70 minutes. When is next time? Hopefully I’ll return for next January’s White Party. I am happy to say we are expecting a second child in the upcoming fall so some trips are in the near future to the USA. If all goes well, then I expect a much-needed vacation will align just in time for WPBKK. Will update.

W is a better hotel. No doubt about it.
But, Meridien's location is better and it is good enough. Even having a 7/11 just opposite to it is pricless. W resembles So Sofitel in the manner that when you go out, there is nothing outside and you either need to walk some time or taxi. They are both "better" than Le Meridien. But Location, Location, Location.
Next trip I'll probably return to Le Meridien.

At least here in the US, damn near everything might have a killing dose of Fentanyl in it. We had two high school kids die this week here in Portland Oregon of Fentanyl overdoses from counterfeit pills. They mix that shit with everything these days.

BKK is not different than any other gay capital of the world and substances use are strongly tied up with nightlife and sex. Especially in the gay scene but not limited to the gay scene. This trip I was near it in more situations than I recall in my previous trip . And that is indeed the really sad news cause crystal meth is in the league of the highly addictive, deadly, life ruining drugs next to Heroine.

Day 3
We woke up by my alarm at 10:15AM. V asked me to set up the alarm so that we don't miss breakfast. When presented with a buffet, V eats for an entire family. Given the fact that we have 10 mins to stock up with food he piles up several plates and actually eats them. Breakfast at W is good. After that, I said my goodbye to V, told him I'll be back in the room by 9PM and that he is welcomed to do whatever he wants. He had his own key to the room.
I have a friend from my time at the army that in recent years lives in Koh Phangan. I told him I'm coming to BKK and he said he will come too to enjoy the city and see me. We met at Yunomori Onsen & Spa at Sukhumvit. It's a really nice place to hang out, chill and facilities are in great condition. I thought I'll get bored but actually I really enjoyed that heterosexual experience of being naked among other men in an environment that Is relatively non sexual. Nonetheless, I was also surprised that there was some eye candy there. Several hours later, we go for Ramen and I tell him I'll meet him tomorrow as I have other business to attend to in the Sukhumvit area. He knows what I mean by that.
I try to avoid the Sukhumvit area since it's jammed, far, and heterosexual but if already there, I knew I had to check the neighborhood's product quality. And by that, I mean Krubb Sauna.
But before I review Krubb it must be said – Babylon is missed. Its absence was prominent during this trip. It's not that I don't like the other local saunas – I think they are great. But Babylon was something else. It was a different product. In Babylon, me being white was an advantage. Most people there were foreigners looking for foreigners or Asians looking for foreign men. I don't feel that my race is a disadvantage in the local saunas, but it is not an advantage. I know it can be argued that the local saunas are more Asian for Asian but I don’t feel that way. I do think that in the local saunas, rejection is commonly misinterpreted by white people as rejection by race. I think it's mere rejection, which is rarely based on race. Anyways, in addition, the level of facility in Babylon was nothing to be compared to the other saunas. I hope that a decent place that tries to enter that specific niche will pop up soon. RIP Babylon, I did a lot of sodomy in your premises.
Arrived at Krubb sauna at 6PM on a Saturday eve. Staff were welcoming and friendly and explained that it's naked month and towels are provided only for showering. I loved that, and especially the enforcement of that policy as they kept enforcing that rule inside the compound and not only at the locker rooms. Facilities are high standard and well maintained. Compound has several levels which can be quite tiring and it's the same in the other local saunas I've been too in the past (R3, Chakran, Mania). Place is nicely full with about 100 men, me being the only white guy. The common dish that is served that night is Asian Twink and Asian Twunk which is not my favorite but it is something I can work with and I have my share of fun. An hour later I find one that is my type, and play with him. He asks me if I'll stay for the party which I was unaware of, but I already knew that when they say in the local saunas "party" they mean orgy. I tell him I'll probably stay and he tells me to come find him at the party. At 8PM, about 100 men went to a single 40SQM room at that place. My Covid conscious told me to get the fuck out of that room but my dick told me to stay. In Thailand I mostly listen to my dick. At home I am able to do more negotiation between the two 😊. In that room I spot my guy from before and realize he is part of the entertainment of the event. I come to see him, we have our public fun and I leave. All and all that place was fun, entertaining, well maintained. I leave and get back to the room where V is already waiting for me to go out for dinner.
We go out for dinner at Soi 4 in the place opposite to the Mexican place and have another mediocre, reasonable dinner. From there we move on to GOD again. It's a full house that night (But still less than pre Covid), and parting with V was similarly great till lights turned on again at 1:20AM. This time I knew V would insist on an after party so I mentally prepared for a long night.
You may be fooled by the term "after party" to thinking that it is a party with people dancing. If it was, I'd be more inclined on going, but it was a chem-sex party. Which means less party, more drugs and sex – which is a combo that is not a turn on for me. Anyways, we go, it is in a beautiful luxury penthouse at a very high tower. I suspect that there is an informal contract between the owner and some of the hot attendees – they come and play at his party – he supplies the drugs. Some of the more dangerous drugs are on the menu that night, but V stays with E and G. I don't even drink alcohol there, as I don't feel that it is a safe environment. V and I play, he takes more drugs and by that also he is more awake and energetic. At 3:30 AM we start negotiation on leaving time. I want 4, he wants 5, we leave at 4:30 AM for some more private fun. V knows that I'm a huge fan of oil play and he surprised me with a large Jar of Coconut oil for that night's fun. Bed is soaked with oil when we go to sleep at 6AM.

Day 2.
Woke up late at Grand Hyatt Erawan. After breakfast I asked for a late checkout and they gave me a 4PM checkout without hesitation. It is probably also a byproduct of the hotel still being in medium capacity.
Went to CentralWorld only to discover they closed all Coffee Bean branches in BKK. I like the big department store in CentralWorld that used to be called Zen and is now called Central. It's same prices as home but with lots of Asian brands we don't have back home. Bought my husband a backpack that he wanted and carried on my way back to hotel for checkout.
W Hotel - I only stayed the first night at the Hyatt for the fast “get out of jail” card. Rest of the nights I wanted to spend at Silom. I Usually stay at the Meridien but I wanted to diversify since hotel prices were the cheapest I ever saw in BKK. I booked a studio suite at W for a total of 750 USD for 3 nights. I used rewards that I have so didn't actually pay but the fact is that this room in this hotel usually costs more than double. I booked that room specifically since I had a naughty fantasy with that tub which will be fulfilled in my first night there. Hotel was great and they gave me a free 6PM(!) checkout which is something I never got for free before.
After checking in, I had coffee with an old friend from previous trips and after that I wanted a massage. Arrived to Silom Plaza's Arena just to discover that they don't serve the dish that I'm after. And by that I refer to Asian muscle. By Vinapu and Andy's recommendations I took a motor taxi to Sabaideespa. 4 guys on display, one of them suits my needs, I think his name was Jack. For the first time, following Vinapus advice, I go for 90 mins. I got the whole 90 mins. Massage was fun, playful and that guy was with a very high conscious of giving good service. I left that place very happy.
What I failed to mention so far is that one of my main motivations to come to BKK was to meet someone from a past trip. In a previous trip report, I named him V (after his perfect V shaped torso) and we met at the White Party of 2018. This is a link to the over detailed full report of that trip, but in short, I'll say he is a fun guy to party with, we have a good connection, and his body makes me extremely weak at my knees. Some more background: after meeting in January 2018, we kept in touch online for about a year. Then he suddenly blocked me without explanation. Social media did show he had a boyfriend and I assumed that for some reason that is the reason he blocked me. Fast forward to mid-2021 after he and his BF broke up he texts me apologizing for his behavior with some explanations that sounded ridiculous to me but honestly, I did not care that much, I was happy that he contacted and waited for the right time to meet him again. I asked him to stay with me at nights and made sure he understands that during the days I'll be out without him and that he can do whatever he wants.
Back at the W after my massage I wait for V to finish his work and come to my hotel. We meet at the lobby. I'm not surprised to see that he looks exactly the same. He's a classic case of - I'm not sure what I want more, to look like him or to fuck him, but at least I got one of the two. After we make out in the room, and after some talking, he wanted to shower and it was the perfect timing for me to fulfill one of my fantasies. One of the main reasons I chose to get a higher-class room was the tub. I imagined us in the tub together, him on me when I hug him from behind and soap his body. Although he offers to pay every taxi, restaurant or party we attend, I never let him. Money was never a part of the relationship between us but I know he struggles for his salary and for me paying on these expenses is easy and appreciated.
From dinner we head straight to GOD. Everything is similar as it was in 2018 - he is extremely fun and sexy to party with. On that Friday GOD was not full but had a nice amount of people. Music is awesome, smoking is thankfully but ridiculously still allowed. We dance exactly the same way we did four years ago. V is an attention seeker and he wants to dance shirtless, at the mezzanine of the club, where everyone sees him, and the guy touching him and holding him from behind, which was yours truly. That guy knows how to party and I love clubbing with him. At 1:20 AM the lights turn on. That's way earlier than it used to be, but V says I'm not allowed to complain and instead just be thankful that it reopened. V who is still high, wants to go to a private after party. I don't and promise him we will go tomorrow and that tonight I want him for myself.
We arrive at the room, then as it was in the past, we argue who is sex DJ tonight. V likes shitty circuit music and I like deep house. We have it my way that night and have a sex night. Our sex is in different rhythms each night, and tonight was softer and more passionate. We go to sleep exhausted and satisfied at about 5AM.
Time zone wise, I deliberately wanted to go to sleep each night somewhere between 4AM to 6AM so that on the one hand I stay at Israeli Time zone, and on the other hand we don't miss hotel breakfast

When entering Israel, all passengers get tested in TLV airport upon arrival and must quarantine until they get their results. That is perfect time for me to start writing.
Intro – 8th trip report (and 8th visit) to my favorite city in the world. 37yo Israeli. Last trip was for the White Party of New Year’s Eve 2020 with my husband. I remember that before we flew to BKK on the end of Dec 2019, reports were starting to come about some virus in China. I couldn’t imagine back then that this virus will make me separate from BKK for such a long time. More than 2 years and 4 Pfizer vaccines later I booked this solo long weekend, to see if even after Covid changed a lot in the world, the BKK magic is still there. And it is still there 😊
Bureaucracy – Once I booked my first night directly (Grand Hyatt Erawan) and got the authorization I submitted all documents online and Thai pass was approved in less than 24 hours. Since this trip was exactly 5 days, I did not need a second PCR. And also, they now dropped the second test anyways. I found the whole procedure friendly and fast.
Flight – One of the unfortunate results of Covid is of course the chaos of booking flights. We used to have 3(!) TLV-BKK direct flights a day. Now we have once a week, and 3 times a week TLV-HKT (Phuket) -BKK. None of the direct options suited my very specific flight schedule requirements so I booked Turkish Airlines with an Istanbul connection (650 USD). This is a 14 hour journey with the main leg being over night which is exactly one of my firmest requirements of a flight to BKK. A couple of days before the flight, when the probability of me actually taking that flight was high, I found that business class fare declined dramatically so I upgraded (Additional 1600 USD). The TLV-IST leg in both directions was a full flight and the IST-BKK flight was half full in both directions. Flights were great, slept great and woke up refreshed. Suvarnabhumi was kind of empty and I was out in no time.
Hotel – Grand Hyatt Erawan (9400 THB test & go package with fast PCR) – Not my preferred location. Hotel lacks character but they did supply the only thing that I really wanted them to – a really fast PCR result. On my way to the hotel, we stopped by Medpark Hospital for a drive thru test – 16:18 was the swab time. At 17:41 the phone rang with the negative results. They did what they promised they would and that was great. They were also very generous with a 4PM checkout time to match my next hotel check in. Breakfast was OK.
After that I went for a stroll in Silom. Soi 4 seemed pleasantly crowded. Some places closed; others opened instead. All and all, I was surprised to see a lively scene, not far from the way it used to be. I enjoyed my walking thru the different streets and venues and waited for 22:30 for the show at Tawan to start. Tawan was a sad place that Thursday night. As some photos here show, it is forth of its original size – and the stage has almost no accessories or decorations. Actually, that night there was not even a show, just 4 guys going up and down the stage for an audience of 3 people. Guys on stage are not my type, some are off season, some are in no season, but as Vinapu said – it only takes one guy. And that guy was there – I think his name was Nut but I’m not sure. A Lean bodybuilder classic type. I didn’t want to leave Silom as I wanted to party later that night so it was coinvent that they offered a room. 2800 THB later (500 off, 300 room, 2K for the guy) and we were at their room which was descent enough for the muscle worship session I wanted. He supplied it to the max and I left there very happy for myself but sad for that establishment. I do think/hope that they will improve as more and more tourists come. After that went to DJ station, which was not full as it used to be but also not empty. Music there is still shit 😊. GOD was closed that night which disappointed me but I knew it would open for the weekend so I called it a night.

To make a long story short: it is now kinda shit and in no way even resembles what is was. But, I did had luck there. Even so, it was just luck, the place is dead.
