I’ll be in Egypt later this year and I’m wondering if anyone has recommendations for hotels in Aswan and Luxor? The Old Cataract and Winter Palace seem to have the best reviews, although both are quite expensive (especially the Old Cataract in Aswan).  I’m guessing it’s better to stay on the mainland (East side of the Nile) in both places?

And now, for one 2020's version of the same thing:   There are a lot of things about progressive standards that are now being trashed where I can say, "I remember thinking that.  Was I wrong?  Am I to blame?"   Let's put Black Lives Matter and "anti-racism" on that list.  It was never true, as far as I know, that White boys were lined up in grade schools classes and forced to apologize for being White and male.  That was all right wing hysteria.  But, arguably, the whole thing did go too far, and triggered a backlash.  Or not.  Did I mention we are right back to almost the same fucking thing, cops killing someone, in the same fucking city, Minneapolis, with the same fucking hot Mayor?  And a majority of Americans are now against ICE's extremes, just like a majority empathized with the goals of Black Lives Matter.  Like, let's not kill people, okay? But that ad above is just over the top.  What the fuck were Democrats thinking?  What the fuck were WE thinking?  Although don't blame that one on me.  From the moment I saw that ad above, I was like, WTF?  Who ever thought this ad made sense.  And, btw, it should have been on Tik Tok, not You Tube.  Maybe it was. Democrats should blame this shit on themselves.  President Brain Shit was at least smart enough to figure it out and play with the Nelk Boys.     Trump won way more Man Vote with the Nelk Boys than Harris did with her version, I think. This is why I like Ruben Gallego.  He found the anecdote.  "Every Latino man in America wants a big ass truck, and cheap gas to fill it with."  Or something like that. Did I mention the swing in the Latino male vote helped give us President Brain Shit again? Did I mention Trump's tariffs are raising the price of big ass trucks? But this does explain why Trump wants the oil from Venezuela.  Trucks may cost more, but at least the gas is cheap. On this one, we Democrats just have ourselves to blame.  We were stupid.  President Brain Shit was smarter.  That's not right or wrong.  That is just politics.

That will be a really interesting test of just how bad it is. I completely agree with you.  There was another great article about a theory of Trump which is pretty simple.  The key phrase was "neo-royalty."  The argument is that much of what Trump is doing makes no sense if you think of this as a 19th century great powers/balance of power global situation.  So these academics argued you have to go back further, to royalty. Trump is not Bismarck.  He is King.  He wants to be treated that way.  He interacts with other Kings like Putin and Xi and Krazy Kim.  (Who, by the way, I really feel is more fashion forward than Marjorie Taylor Greene, even.  I hope THAT doesn't trigger you, Sis.)  Trump and his cronies could give a shit about democracy or political prisoners or that bitch who won his Peace Prize.  Even if she is using it to pander to him.  Fuck the bitch.  Fuck the peasants in Venezuela who are confused about why he is dissing the bitch and talking about taking their oil.  They don't understand who they are dealing with.  Everything he does is right, in his addled pieces of shit brain.  Porque no me entiendes? That is the issue. It would not be legal to do so in many countries. I also assume that you were not aware of what I was talking about exactly and that these particular dolls don't interest you.  I can understand the issue with weapons, they can be used in real robberies. When it comes to drawings or dolls, they've lost the plot completely. That is why I added the donkey comment, because I know there are countries where men are being treated for deceases  they caught by having sex with animals.
