  1. As alluded to by PaulSF earlier this week, it seems the return to normalized nightlife is steadily progressing. As I walked along Thaniya the other night, the ladies of the evening were populating one side of the soi like it was 2019 again. This, I told myself, has to be a very good omen. This morning’s Bangkok Post reinforced this belief. ”The Ministry of Public Health will on Friday propose new Covid-19 zoning with some provinces to be classified as "green zones", according to its permanent secretary, Dr Kiattiphum Wongrajit. The ministry's proposal to the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) involves the revised zoning of Covid-19 hit provinces only, with surveillance "green zones" added to the current high surveillance "yellow zones" and "blue zones" promoted for tourism in the colour-coded system, he said. Although no further easing of Covid-19 restrictions is proposed by the ministry, the provincial communicable disease committees in "green zones" can consider further relaxations and what activities may resume, he said. When translated into the vernacular, this allows otherwise restricted activities to proceed without violating laws or sensibilities.

    Silom bars

Last night modified forum trio descended on Jupiter around 10.00. Several patrons including few girls, one quite active in distributing tips but also doing uncalled for advances on performers. Nothing new, good and bad. Bad first, music too loud, forget about any conversation. Air-conditioner running at full speed, making inside wintry cold. Smiles very, very sparse, even 100 baht tip extracted something like very shy grin. On personal evel I was hoping one of their guys who aparently returned to town will be there but no, not yet. Good is show is still very professional, even if bit dated but now with so many returning after 2-3 years break it,s easy to justify. Guys all still prime material, I could off every single one, just no idea if they are interested as smiles still lacking. Will return if only to see if object of interest really is back.

  3. Three members tasked themselves last night to check New Twilight arriving around 10 pm It makes nice impression, spacious, new furniture, wall size screen behind the scene, in short smells new. Several boys presenting themselves on the stage, most of them fully dressed but shirts, removed bit later. Not hunky but not twinky either, some faces familiar from other bars, some new, one or two visibly shy so must be new new. Some staff also transplanted from other bars. Atmosphere friendly, owner advertising " take 2 boys you will get 3rd free and it will be me''. Actually quite young guy he is

  4. Yes I agree. The Grinder app works fine for me for finding the boys I want but I do like to visit the bars for fun usually order one drink or two and leave unless I see very hot boy I rarely off one from the bar. my suspicion is that the boy obligated to give a fee to the bar or mamasan for every off they have so obviously you are paying more for ST or LT then the apps .

  5. The A350 performs the nonstop service between JFK and SIN. Now that it’s avoiding. Russian airspace the duration can be as much as 19 hours. depending on winds aloft. The 380 is filling the seats with Euro-bound and Asian bound travelers. As others have pointed out, Singapore has positioned itself ideally to provide efficient point-to-point and conventional routing through passenger rich heart of Europe. And it’s completive pricing in all classes is filling the seats. My mid-day arrival was swift and efficient. With no checked luggage, I made it from sky bridge to City Line train in about 20 minutes, most of it a welcome stroll through the sorely missed familiarity of Swampy (and I say that with affection). The ride up the escalator at Silom was a near emotional experience after a 26-month period of deprivation.

    Karaoke/Host Bars

When I got a VIP room, they kept telling me that its still getting readied. That went on for an hour so as it turns out I was already paying for sitting the model while I was out waiting in the common room, talking to the owner the whole time and him ordering food. You can get one but just be wary of their tactics in luring you to spend more.

    Moonlight models

I visited Moonlight last night, heavy rain in the evening perhaps contributed to quite sparse crowd inside, staff outnumbered Patrons 2 to 1 I guess. Only 3 models on display and as part of show - Nicky, Smart and Marc, perhps 8 floor guys all bar one in t-shirt and jeans. Some of our members would get a heart attack I suspect. One bare chested recognized me immediately as he was my 1st off in Dec. For me he was only one offable material so it goes without saying I did not off anybody( doesn't mean I spent night praying silently or something). Show was pretty brief but entertaining enough, drink 400, VAT included. Need to try them another night as heavy rains contributed likely to a low participation. As soon as I got in my room another heavy rain followed. But today air is quite cooler than yesterday not to mention streets cleaner.

    Pattaya restaurants

Following an interesting topic regarding eating in Bangkok, may I suggest an up-to-date review of what's available and recommended in Pattaya now?

  10. Related to this, Winner bar in Pattaya has posted on Facebook that entertainment can legally operate as of June 1st, so they will be opening fully as a gogo bar. The announcement was accompanied by a photo of guys NOT in jeans.

  11. I'm traveling light with only a backpack and I've long ago abandoned any sense of shame that would keep me from freshening up in the sauna restroom. But, it so happens that on my overnight layover in Paris I met up with a young African refugee who I met last fall on Grindr who literally goes all night (regrettably almost entirely in doggy style, not only my least favorite position but after hours and hours the legs start to give out...) and so I think I will lack both the energy and the requisite desperation when I arrive tonight. Hopefully, I will be fully recovered and ready to hit the ground Saturday night (which pre-covid I recall was the only night without a clear winner between 117 and 202, still true?) I have been to SP several times, although never more than a few days at a time. I always expected as a richer and much larger city it would have the creme de la creme, but on my limited trips to Lagoa (ok, 7 or 8, maybe) I rarely met guys in the same league as Rio

  12. If you’re younger or just don’t “look the part”, you’re just going to have to do the approaching for better results.

    Pattaya First Timer Help

Apps will be working, some bars may be opened, just will not serve any alcohol. In such a case we can go and on Saturday evening instead of gin we can drink water, just as animals

  16. I use to take the NYC to Bangkok non-stop and LOVED it. It was always busy but shut down as the airline said they didn't make much money as they could not carry as much cargo.

    Silom bars

I was always ambivalent about BKK; we never stated more than couple of days before moving on. However, the buzz of arrival in Thailand, the noise, the smells, the heat....and then the taxi to Surawong observing the skyline.Aand that first night walking through Patpong to Soi Twilight (of blessed memory). I don't think I ever spent a baht there but the bustle, the crowds... magical.

  18. A few years ago I created a longlist of about 12 ads prior to visiting. From that list I created a ‘red flag’ sublist based on a quick Google search of each phone contact. They often yielded a Mileroticos ad but a different handle and set of photos. Perhaps scams. Perhaps a few guys sharing or rotating numbers among themselves. None of these responded with a convincing answer. From there it was easy to generate a short list, confirming with a brief text chat, 3-finger selfie request &c. These all turned out to be good experiences when there.

Of course it was a tourist trap there BUT as a local there for 20+ years, I did shop there and YES I do miss it.

  20. I am going to add a couple of things to consider regarding hiring from Mileroticos. Note that @Latbear4blk recently posted extensively on this subject here and has reviews on his website. 1. The men that advertise on Mileroticos are pros. It is a paid listing service and these guys make a living escorting. So you can expect a professional experience where you will be asked what you want and the escort will deliver that. Full stop. Many of the men that post on Milerotics move around Colombia from city to city working the circuit (like your friend Maycol) as they develop regular customer relationships that pay their bills. Some even work out of client homes and vacation apartments (this is common in Cartagena). 2. The other listings (Skokka, Escorts Colombia, etc.) and the apps (Grindr, Scruff, Hornet and A4A) offer a large selection of men that escort on the side to earn additional cash. Look for keywords like Disponible, sólo solventes, or masaje which are generally dead giveaways that the guy is escorting. You will find many students in this category as Medellin has several large universities and students gotta eat. I would also add Ferchos Masajes to this category -- men that need to earn some cash and Fercho managing the process for them. Happy travels.

  21. I hope this is not a taboo subject. This year we celebrate the 10th anniversary of FDA approval of PrEP. (Yes, indeed, I know that PrEP does not protect against other STIs). One of the initial study sites that led to the FDA approval of PrEP was in Brazil and in my pre-covid trips I found that a sizable minority of free Grindr Brazilian guys were into condomless. (In some cities in my travels such as SF, Miami, London, Amsterdam and maybe Paris, condomless seems the majority position.) I have had a few condomless experiences in the saunas, and one with a garotocomlocal, but it seems substantially less than the free gay Grindr Cariocas. I'm speculating that PrEP is tagged as "gay" and straight/bi identifying garotos don'gt want to take it? Or do they take it but still use condoms?
