What you said above must be true as I heard it many times but still there are people, including our members who like that time in Bangkok so I'm tempted to see who is on the right side of the truth. Sad thing is that most miscreants are foreigners , not locals. Certainly i wouldn't carry passport and phone on the street with me at that time. Hottest month sounds even more scary but i so often say ' go and check for yourself' that part of me is tempted to do what I preach

  4. That seems unlikely, if one's to believe the surveillance footage. Putin seems to like to murder people in spectacular, outrageous ways, to leave no doubt that he did it, and will do it again with impunity if he so wishes. Putin likes to murder openly, with the aim to instill fear as much as to silence any vocal opponents.

The one Trump only built only 80 miles of and Mexico NEVER paid a dime or peso? https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-46748492 If Republican's were sooo concerned about senseless deaths, and she was one of them....why has zero been done about guns and mass shootings, clearly a more deadly problem. Have you ever visited another country, have you seen what US past policies and interference has done to Central America? Or do you repeat what Sean Hannity says? Get a fucking life.

  6. that's better as thinking that people go voluntarily for aggressive war beyond their country borders makes me cringe. It's one thing to defend St Petersburg from overwhelming Finnish forces but another to try to take Helsinki by force.

  7. You are lucky. Hottest months, esp. in BKK. Watching Thais wash Buddha statues at this time does not compensate for having to carry all your documents, money and phone in sealed plastic bags, or dodging attempts by drunken tourists to throw water on you after sunset (and often it is ice water). You will be doused with water both with your consent and from behind. They will throw water on you when you are decently dressed, walking down the street to have dinner in a restaurant, when you are talking on the phone, when you are riding in a tuk-tuk. Drunk tourists do not know their limits, and they believe that Songkran is not the time when Buddha statues are washed and relatives and people passing by are blessed with this water, but this is a holiday of water hooliganism and mischief. Once I visited this ā€œholidayā€, I will never return to Thailand in April.

He's a professional, personable and a cute early 30s and married to a doctor. He'll more than likely NOT deal with the sauna scene or escort scene but will let you experience the other aspects of this sixth largest city of our world. {I recommended the services of Danilo to a friend of mine a few years back. He was pleased overall.} Occasionally,Danilo is on my FB page. ...much less now than two years ago. If you're interested PM me and I could write to him if you're interested. SĆ£o Paulo is one hell of a large city. That component is what I did NOT like about it. ...traveled there a few years back (4 or 5 trips). ...enjoyed the culture (very different from Rio de Janeiro.). Explored on my own + I had a gay guide (professional) each time that I visited. Was there once with a friend as well.

If you want something different, I suspect you would enjoy BogotĆ” scene over Medellin simply because BogotĆ” is in your face while Medellin takes a bit to figure out. I was tipped off to it watching Netflix 1st season of Somebody Feed Phil though of course itā€™s mentioned in all guides. Itā€™s only a few Metro stops northwest of Si Lom station, then short walk south, so it would be easy to backtrack to Patpong if not to the guestsā€™ liking.

  22. If I understand your question correctly, you are asking where Thai same-sex partners can marry nearest to Thailand. While legal in most of the Western Hemisphere, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand, there is so far only one country in Asia (Taiwan) and one country in Africa (South Africa) which allow same-sex marriage. You can find more information on Wikipedia. My understanding is that in Asia, Japan and Cambodia are the most likely to legalize same-sex marriage next. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage Countries in dark blue have full same-sex marriage on an equivalent basis to gender-divergent marriage: Among those countries which do not require visas for Thai citizens (in green), it looks as though the main choices are Taiwan, South Africa, or various South American countries. If a Thai person were to marry a citizen of one of the dark blue countries above, in most cases he'd be allowed to live there permanently, and eventually become a citizen if he stayed clean of the law. If a Thai person were to marry a citizen of the US, EU, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, he would carry two passports which would be very powerful indeed, since he could visit almost every country without a visa, with the exception of some truly weird ones one would never want to visit anyway, such as Venezuela, Algeria, Libya, Yemen, Afghanistan, and the Central African Empire (I mean Republic šŸ˜‰).

  23. NOTE -- Was Barry K reading Vinapu's mind--or recent post--about Pattaya, and Soi 6 in particular? From Pattaya Mail By Barry Kenyon Stickman Bangkok, the leading bar and club commentator since 1998, claims boldly that Pattaya has shaken off its seedy reputation. In his weekly online article, for March 10, he argues Pattaya is moving rapidly towards diversification and respectability. What was once a playground for middle-aged white men is now very much a family holiday destination. For Stickman, Peak Pattaya was from 1998 to 2010 when the resort had transformed from something of a backwater beach destination to a developed (but not over-developed) resort which managed to maintain the old vibes but with more choices of places to go, shop and sleep. It was still a place dominated by middle-aged white men. Today, Stickman concludes, Pattaya is bland by comparison and not anymore off-beat or risque. Most old timers in Pattaya are going to agree with Stickman who, like Martin Luther at the time of the Reformation, said aloud what lots of people were thinking anyhow. Todayā€™s Pattaya is a concrete jungle, as everyone sees on arrival, and is no longer a bargain for the economy tourist. The sex-dominated districts, such as Soi Six and Soi Buakhao, are fewer in number and probably less fun than they once were. Mobile phones have replaced furtive glances as you pass by. The Walking Street has changed beyond all recognition, more upmarket and with a future likely dominated by Indian dance clubs and bars essentially catering for Asian travellers. Stickman does not mention the gay scene centered on Jomtien Complex and Boyztown ā€“ he usually claims his readers wouldnā€™t be interested ā€“ but the changes there are significant too. Pickup bars and gogo joints have largely been superseded by businesses offering entertaining drag shows, which even your grandmother might enjoy, and relaxing venues where social rather than sexual intercourse seems to be the dominant conversation. Still, they are busy most nights. Putting the sex back in Pattaya, as you might say, isnā€™t an option. The Thai government is currently busy offering visa free travel to the diverse mega-markets of Russia, China and India amongst others. As Thailandā€™s birth rate continues to decline, largely because of the expense of raising families, young Thais have better options than selling their bodies. Pattayaā€™s successful MICE market (meetings and conventions etc.), the expanding five-star accommodation options, the much misunderstood Eastern Economic Corridor, the diversification of entertainment facilities catering for families (amongst lots of other factors) all point to a future very different from 15 years ago. Nostalgia for the past, of course, is a privilege of advancing years. Stickman acknowledges that, recalling some of the great characters of the past such as Glitterman who rode a beautifully decorated bicycle around Pattaya, or the guy with the parrot which he even took into the immigration bureau to renew his visa, or the lady who covered herself with tarantulas to shock first time visitors. All gone. Perhaps too sex in Pattaya will wither on the vine. Check out Stickmanā€™s article on https://www.stickmanbangkok.com and decide for yourself. ==================== From Pattaya Mail Parliamentary delegation surveys EEC, highlights U-Tapao Airportā€™s strategic role A high-profile delegation led by Krumanit Sangpoom, Chairman of the Land Transportation Committee of the House of Representatives, embarked on a comprehensive tour of key infrastructure sites within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) on March 10. The deputation, aimed to gain valuable insights, receive briefings, and engage in discussions regarding the development of this vital economic zone in Thailandā€™s eastern region. The visit, facilitated by members of the committee, encompassed three significant locations integral to the EECā€™s development trajectory: Laem Chabang Port, U-Tapao Rayong-Pattaya International Airport in Ban Chang District, Rayong Province, and the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate Office. Throughout the visit, the delegation actively participated in discussions and exchanged viewpoints with relevant authorities, addressing the progress, challenges, and obstacles encountered in advancing the EECā€™s infrastructure and economic landscape. The valuable insights and feedback garnered during the visit, encompassing assessments of existing services, identification of areas for enhancement, and strategies for bolstering capacity, will be presented to the Cabinet for deliberation and subsequent action. The delegation reiterated its unwavering commitment to fostering the development of the EEC, acknowledging its pivotal role in shaping Thailandā€™s future economic trajectory. Furthermore, the strategic positioning of U-Tapao Rayong-Pattaya International Airport was underscored, highlighting its potential to accommodate a significant share of visitors alongside Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang International Airports in the foreseeable future.

It was Dementia Joe's executive orders that created an open border for criminals, drug dealers, sex traffickers, AND MURDERERS, including the murderer of Laken Riley, to walk across the border. It is not the job of the Republicans to bail him out of the mess that he created. The American people will be doing that in the fall when they remove him from office.

I think that if I were somehow discovered dead with my water bottle and phone the authorities could figure out my identity. Of course itā€™s considerate to be conscientiously facilitative but I suppose offing oneself often precludes optimal organization. Anyway, it turns out the deceased was identified fairly quickly somehow through CCTV footage leads. His planned stay had been set at 3 months and he had 5-6 weeks remaining Incidentally just days before in the area the police intervened with a Russian male planning to leap to his death from a building. At first I thought that he was maybe eventually free to go and take a better stab at it.

  33. Americans Remain Committed to NATO Two-thirds want to see U.S. increase or maintain commitment to NATO I of course just posted that, but it bears repeating. I'm talking US domestic politics now. The equivalent point is that 2 in 3 Americans agree with Trump on immigration. Biden has not been tough enough. We should close the border. So do people care more about keeping "illegals" out of America? Or about keeping Ukrainians safe from a genocidal sadist? In terms of how this plays out in November, I think it matters a lot that in both cases Republicans are just blocking anything and creating chaos. They are blocking money going to Ukraine, which most Americans, and many House Republicans (but not most Trump Republicans) support. They don't want compromise on immigration. I would bet money that whole "do nothing Congress" thing is going to hurt them in November. Now let's add what the CIA Director just said. I pray to God he is right. His point is that NOT funding Ukraine is a "massive and historic mistake". Same thing Biden said. We should not bow down to Putin, a genocidal sadist. Most Americans agree. They see Putin as a genocidal sadist. They support NATO. They do not want Ukraine to lose. They believe we should support Ukraine. Biden, and his CIA director, are preaching to the choir. This is what it means if Putin gains "significant ground". Your genocidal sadist killed a baby boy in Mariupol. His parents are heartbroken. For all we know, your genocidal sadist also managed to kill the mother, the father, the doctors and the nurses. Your genocidal sadist killed tens of thousands of innocent people in Mariupol. People who voted 80 % against being part of your genocidal sadist's nation. They were right. Why would anyone want a genocidal sadist as a leader? Why would Russians want a genocidal sadist leader who processes them into fertilizer? Trump's best argument is that we need to end this, and focus on building pretty new buildings in Ukraine. Buildings built over the bodies of all those dead Ukrainian babies, and dead Russian soldiers. It's an argument. But if that is the best Trump has, he's gonna lose. At least based on that argument. But it does make it sound like Trump is against killing baby boys. Trump is for building pretty buildings. If Burns is right, and Trump's effort to block aid to Ukraine encourages Vlad to go big on genocide, it mostly makes Trump look weaker, and stupider, and more of a Putin cock sucker. I love that picture. Two of the best Putin cock suckers in the world, amid the opulence of Mar A Lago. Please, let's plaster that picture all over America. And please, make sure that photos says: "Not a penny more to Ukraine if I win. I, Donald Trump, will cut off all aid to Ukraine if I win." Is it is reasonable to have Orban suck Trump's cock while he says it? Or maybe Orban and Trump sucking Vlad's cock? It's an idea. Maybe we can be like Russia, and suck Putin's cock. And if we can't be like Russia, we can be like Hungary. A junior cock sucker. A wannabe Putin cock sucker, gradually undermining democracy every way we can. That way Putin won't kill our babies, and rape our women, and kill our soldiers. It's an idea. If Putin does launch an offensive, and what Americans see on TV are more dead baby boys, and more sobbing Moms who may be dead themselves soon, this is not good for Trump. Because it just makes him look even more like the weak, pathetic, selfish Putin cock sucker that he is. One thing I'm hoping, for Ukraine's sake, is Putin is smart enough (spoiler alert: he's not) to hold off on the genocidal sadism a bit until after the US election. Putin should be smart enough (spoiler alert: he's not) to figure out that making it clear that Trump pals around with baby killers who are genocidal sadists isn't really what we expect of our Presidents. If you don't believe me, just pay attention to all the feelings about Gaza, as you already know. Putin would be doing Bibi The Butcher a big favor by taking the focus off his genocide in Gaza and putting it back on the genocide in Ukraine. An offensive that kills more babies and Moms in Ukraine would accomplish that. And Putin is the kind of genocidal sadist that will do it. I have a very hard time believing that the 2 in 3 Americans who support NATO will buy Trump's vision of weakness, stupidity, and lining up to suck Vlad's cock like Tucker did. Maybe America will become Putin's cock sucker. The ones who do will rationalize it by saying Vlad's not such a bad guy after all. Which is a bit hard to believe when the images on TV are about how the genocidal sadist is killing babies in Ukraine again. But who knows. Maybe America will bow down to Putin. But I would not bet on it. This could backfire. I'm guessing Burns has been reading the polls, as Biden has: That's an interesting poll, compared to the way most ask the question. Because there is this seeming contradiction. If you ask whether Americans want to send aid to Ukraine, they say yes. If you ask whether Americans think we need negotiations for a peaceful settlement, they say yes. That poll sound right to me, based on lots and lots of polls on Ukraine. I think most Americans agree with Burns (and Biden) that we need to keep arming Ukraine. So, as Burns says, Ukraine "can regain the offensive initiative by early next year and negotiate from a position of greater strength." Those poll numbers sound right. There's some wing of militarists who think we should arm Ukraine forever, or jump in the fight ourselves. Maybe 1 in 5 Americans would go for that, the poll suggests. Maybe 1 in 4 or even 1 in 3 Americans just want to cut Ukraine off and leave them to the genocidal sadist. Trump is one of them. Why? I guess it makes America Great Again. And then there's this huge center that wants to aid Ukraine's defense, but try to end the war through negotiations. It's a form of peace through strength. Burns and Biden are centrists. They obviously have read the polls. Trump is saying we should not give Ukraine a penny, I guess. Cut 'em off. Be nice to Putin. I think that makes him look weak, and extreme. If Vlad ramps up the genocidal sadism, it will make Trump look even weaker. And then there is this, from one of Trump's potential running mates: Huh? And we punish the murderous dictator by NOT sending the military aid Ukraine desperately needs, so the genocidal monster can kill more Ukrainian babies? I am pretty sure this will hurt Republicans. They'll look both weak, and hypocritical. The question it raises is whose cock are these weak Republicans sucking? Trump's cock? Putin's cock? Both cocks? Ugh!

    Observations

@Latbear4blk it is important to accept yourself for who you truly are. Iā€™m glad youā€™ve reached that point in your life. @Riobard I feel like there is an equation somewhere in this thread. Variables would include time, condom usage when meeting new friends on Grindr and the degree at which gay boys become comfortable without using condoms regularly with random or semi-random partners. It would seem that it is possible to calculate the rate at which a certain population accepts risk. The data you provided from Canada could also be used to actually put a price tag on sem camisinha. Iā€™m fascinated by these ideas and perhaps in another life I will get paid to study stuff like this but since I am very much aware that the purpose of this board is not, well, unusual applications of economic theory, Iā€™ll stop now. Thank you for confirming my hypothesis. In other news, Iā€™m floored by the fact that any drug - let alone one prescribed to allow gay boys to more safely exchange bodily fluids with each other - is somehow free here in America but moderately expensive in Canada. Everything I know says it should be the other way around.

Plenty of cooked food vendors and attractive masseurs (or masseuses, depending on preference) along the way. Not many biys speak English, but, as you will have seen, you order the services you want from a 'shopping list', ant the items are usually faithfully delivered. If you go to a bar, King of College, for example, the manager usually speaks some English, and has a menu you can peruse! Cartagena & Barranquilla

In Cartagena, you have to remember that this is really three cities -- the old Walled city and next-door Getsemani, the Hotels along the water in Bocagrande and the suburban outpost of El Castillo, and the main city of Cartagena proper (including the Manga neighbourhood). You want to spend time in the Walled City, walk around and soak in the ambience. Grab a drink at Cafe del Mar and watch the sun set. Visit Gabriel Garcia Marquez's former home. Have lunch by the pool at the Santa Clara hotel (a former monastery). Explore the graffiti covered streets of Getsemani and walk under the hanging umbrellas that protect you from the sun. As others have pointed out, the beaches along Bocagrande are not great. The best beach is in El Castillo next to the Hilton hotel. It is a public beach so feel free to set up there. Otherwise, you can grab a day charter from Muelle de la Bodegita where dozens of companies will sell you packages for day trips to CholĆ³n (over priced but popular), Playa Blanca and BarĆŗ. There are tons of shops, restaurants and smaller bars in Bocagrande-El Castillo, which becomes very lively in the evening. You are definitely going to want to go out at least once. There are dozens of rooftop bars/clubs in the walled city. The best known are AlquĆmico, Tsunami, and Ajeno. The scene at Donde Fidel (on the street across from the Hard Rock) is fun and you will get different entertainment looking for tips. As far as Baranquilla goes, it is not well developed for tourism. It actually came into existence because of its location on the Magdelana river so it has extensive history and interesting culture. Unless you are very comfortable with the language and know some locals, there is little to see and do outside of Carnaval each year. The suggestions to explore Tayrona and Santa Marta are good ones since both are relatively close. You may also want to just spend more time exploring the many sites around Cartagena such as El Tutumo (mud volcano -- fun half day outing), see the flamingos at the Avario nacional de BarĆŗ, swim with photoplankton at night in BarĆŗ, learn about AfroColombian culture with a day trip to San Basilio del Palenque, or tour the mangroves outside Cartagena. There are many other options to see - do so I encourage you to keep exploring the many possibilities for your trip here. Enjoy your time in Colombia.

  43. Day 27 last In the morning we released some steam before going for breakfast and then parted ways. Today is my last day so I went to buy couple packs of my favorite Khao Son 3-in-1 coffee to take home to last me till next trip . Otherwise decided to take it easy before long trek home . At 3 pm I expected NM, massage guy, tried and tested before for a visit . He showed up on time. We always have good time but today we had REALLY good time, he let me to see his romantic side a bit. So happy I was that he mentioned he would like to go to see what he called ā€˜ sky walk ā€˜ atop Mahanakhon , steps from my hotel , I jumped into suggestion and after we were done I told him we are going there. You should see his smile. It was Sunday afternoon and it was pretty crowded on the top, Iā€™d venture it was most crowded of my at least 20 visits there but there was still room for us. At least NM was brave enough to step on the glass without any fuss and took 2 zillions pictures to make his friends jealous I guess. I showed him the 75th floor washroom with the view as well. Both happy then we went to Gā€™Bangkok for my last supper. Not necessarily best idea because I sensed NM did not like farang food he ordered. My fault , I should warn him where we are going. I returned to my room to start packing. True to form for last few trips I wanted Y to be my last so contacted him to ask if he will be working tonight. Answer was bit non-standard ā€˜ yes but for a time I donā€™t accept long time anymoreā€ . Whatever reason was it fit my schedule so to speak as I was planning to leave at 4 am anyways so told him ST is ok tonight and at 9.pm was in Moonlight already. It was quite empty , soon Y joined me and explained reason for rejecting LT. Has girlfriend now and she want his to be home at decent hour knowing he works till 2 am. Explained him why it will work perfect to night and off we went straight to the room as none of us was hungry. It was fitting conclusion of such long , varied and successful trip and we had fun. Around midnight phone rung, lady voice was heard and Y responded something. When they finished he smiled broadly and said he has permission to stay till 3. Couldnā€™t work better. After he left, at 3 am on the dot indeed ā€“ that girl must hold his balls tightly , I finished packing, made last tea and just before 4 left my room. There was taxi just passing by so I stopped her but it turned out it was ordered by two guys from other side of soi. This being Bangkok another one appeared right after. He wanted 500 to airport. Since I was in mood I agreed but was smart enough to tell him ā€˜ you pay the tollsā€. Everything went smoothly in the airport and at Naritaā€™s connection so all looked as happy homecoming but it was not. Before going to be I decided to eat something , opened my fridge and got hit with some unpleasant stench . At one point at my absence she decided to call her 19 years service done. So I had some cleaning to do but still marveled at quality of the seals. In about 1 hr I was in I did not sense anything, no wonder my cousin taking care about my flower did not notice anything either. Anyways it was not nice to be hit with need to buy new one following morning, Now, when I look at my fridge I smile as it reminds me such great trip and my longest so far to SE Asia.

  44. Day 26 It was nice but for a price Iā€™d say it could be better specially that in the morning AP announced that he needs to go. That was reasonable 7 am and it saved me buying him breakfast but still Iā€™m not fan of boys saying good bye first unless timeframe was agreed beforehand. After breakfast I went to Main post office on Charoen Krung , thereā€™s always small collector market in the corner at front of it and I wanted to check their offerings. Did not leave them empty handed but with lighter pocket , thatā€™s for sure. Returned by the bus I boarded randomly and which turned out passing by Wat Hualampong. For 14.30 to Jey Spa, I had an appointment with Mavin, our first. On the picture he looked more massive but service was as good as Maiiā€™s or Noom, my favorites there so all good. From there to Madrid Tavern for my last pizza this trip. Then to my room for bit of quiet rest. For tonight I expect S , our 8th meeting this trip and he showed up at 20.30, straight from the bus from home. Since he was hungry we went to Foodland , he made sure to pick up one of their cheapest thing on the menu, he certainly is not one set for milking farang out of every penny and then somebody may wonder how come he lands so many offs, right? I also gave him 500 for off fee as he was supposed to work today and we returned to the room for out last night of embraces +++ this trip.

  45. Day 20 Of course we forgot about sunrise and parted ways quite a while after that. Today Iā€™m off to Phuket. Itā€™s my first time there. Few people mentioned that ā€˜ you will forget at times that you are in Thailand ā€œ . On another had my friend is there ( not gay)now and he swears by the place spending most of his time in Thailand there , often bypassing Bangkok entirely. So bottom line is Iā€™m very curious. Since my said friend is there but leaving tomorrow morning Iā€™m booking 1 night in hotel he is staying to keep appearances and tomorrow I will move to Paradise Complex. To Don Muang by usual combination of BTS+ MRT + SRT red line, in airport smooth. Flight with Air Asia uneventful but not very comfortable due to cramped seats but at 50$ for 90 minutes flight Iā€™m not one to complain. In the airport I followed signs for ā€˜public busā€ , there called Smart Bus. There are 3 different lines with schedules well posted and mine, in direction of Patong was departing quite soon. Left half empty by but time we reached Patong in about 1 hr it was filled to capacity. I alighted somewhere central, not sure where as it was my first time there , later on I learned it was quite close to Bangla road and to get to hotel I took motorsai. He quoted me 150 , I as instructed by my friend counter offered 100, immediately accepted , still too much for 6 minutes ride , even if uphill but I was in no mood to haggle for another 20 baht. Got room with quite a nice view with Royal Paradise Hotel well visible in a distance so knew immediately where in relation to gay area Iā€™m. My friend was waiting impatiently being hungry so soon after we were climbing to nearby recommended restaurant with the view and one of best chicken with cashews I had this trip. Then we went downhill to central Patong to get grip of the place and as always when one is freshly arrived, curious of every corner and another one already 14 days there who been everywhere dozen times it was basically waste of time for both of us but at least we stopped by one of many booths selling tours and I booked grandly named Tour of the Island for tomorrow morning. Listed price was 1400 but I got it for 900 without even bargaining ā€“ lady knew my friend from few tours he booked with her so gave proper price right away. Bottom line there it seems is donā€™t pay listed price but if you have time , bargain down and if necessary see another 1 or 3 places and see what their price will be. There are tons of offers but it means thereā€™s customer pocket friendly competition. Or at least itā€™s what it seemed. Seeing my friend is itching to return to hotel as he is leaving tomorrow morning and needs to pack I gladly suggested we do , if only , after refreshening to return to Patong for further exploration , this time alone. Of course first steps to Paradise Complex, I located my hotel I will be moving in tomorrow, Cruise club across it , big Zag club beside in the same soi. Soi seemed full and busy then surveyed parallel soi with massage shops where one of the guys caught my eye so I enroll his services. 500 for the shop. Further compensation was discussed inside in the process already when my suggestion he can remove his clothes as itā€™s too hot was countered with 3000 request. Sorry I only look as first timer so told him , no, just go on with massage. ā€œ how much you give me ?ā€ he still had hopes for business , ā€œl000ā€™ was my offer and we settled on 1500. To be honest , still too much for what I got but itā€™s OK, finally my first Phuket boy. After that I treated myself with banana pancake for 80 ( I just paid 30 few days ago at Sukhotai for the same ) , went to see famous Bangla Road and was amazed how crowded it was that late. Certainly Patong visitors like their fun and after declining proposals from 3 or 7 ladies of the night there I returned to hotel.

  46. Day 19 I wouldnā€™t say there was a lot of fireworks that night but at least I had somebody to cling too so all good in the morning. No breakfasting together as he wanted to go at 7 and I felt still sleepy. This morning somehow I had urge to go to Mahanakhon, Iā€™m never tired with thrill of stepping on that glass so after breakfast at Foodland of all place I went there to enter just when they were opening at 10.00. Admission 880 baht before 16.30, 1080 after that but seniors only 350 no matter when. Itā€™s good to be old thought I paying my dues after lining up behind 30 or so people. Definitely tourism picked up and gone are days in 2021 and 2022 when that early I was lone visitor for first several minutes. View today was so, so though with bit of smog hanging on. Returning to hotel I visited K in his room in Serene Silom , nice although considering price difference I like Baan Silom better even if thereā€™s no pool nor breakfast there . We resolved to check on Jey spa this afternoon so upon returning to the room across the soi I booked Noom there for 2 pm. Their response as always was fast. We went by BTS and entered just before our time . Mamasan recognized me and welcomed me withā€™ welcome home; lol . Soon Noom enters the lobby and it was one of most pleasant moments of this trip as seeing me his face beamed with smile ( we had pleasure twice before ). It was not faked smile , I could see. 1250 for 1.50 session for massage , his minimum tip is 1800 but session was too good and that smile too broad to treat him with that minimum. After that K and I had lunch in some place in Sukhumvit soi 12 recommended by one of my friends, one of best chicken with cashews I recently had although not cheapest. At 19.00 meet with Floridarob in Hot Male for drink , chat and subsequent stroll through the sois. While walking by Tawan Mas , the twink , noticed me from distance so I parted ways with Rob for a while and went upstairs to succumb to Masā€™s skills and charms. Tip 2000 and 900 for the room, not exactly cheap treat but I like Mas . Upon going down guys tried to stop me for a show but I had other plans as Rob and me decided to check Sol, new bar I never venture to so far. I texted K we will be there so he joined us soon after Rob arrived at about 22.00. When I was entering one of boys sitting outside stopped me and said ā€œ I know you ā€˜ It turned out I offed him last trip from Moonlight but I was not particularly good memory as at middle of the night he asked to leave to , what else hand over the key to his roommate or something and never did. In the morning even had nerve to ask me ā€œ how are you this morning?ā€. Soon after we sat down inside he planted himself beside, asked for drink which I agreed , if only because he remembered me with such detail and soon after got another lesson. Boy left without finishing even half of his bottle because he was booked and his customer arrived. Then I feel like old fool indeed. Second case like that this trip. Iā€™m not going bankrupt because of that but clearly some guys need tutorial of customer service. As for Sol crowd inside was sparse which was surprising considering it was Saturday. Perhapas 10 spectators for the show total . It was too cold as AC was set too low and way too loud. There was couple who entered and few minutes after they sat down they left ā€“ I heard girl saying that itā€™s too loud. One would think that with few spectators they will do everything to keep everybody in but no, waiter just shrugged it off so those people left and nose level was as before. We soldiered on , I treated one best looking guy with customary red note, we liked both participants of smoke show. All in all not bad , show and boys but cold , nose and indifferent attitude shown to those complainers make me thinking how successful they will be. I wish them luck though. Then we went to Screwboys across the soi , It was packed but somehow they found us some place in the corner. Mamasan there , only one in universe I like always remembers that I liked one of her boys nicked One , even if that was back in 2014 ( to this day I consider him best Thai boy I ever had pleasure with ) and even presented one of the current crop as his friend so I tipped guy red note for having good connections. We watched bit of show but at one point I got message from S that he is free. Since earlier I arranged with him we meet tonight to see the sunrise tomorrow it was signal to go. K and I marched to Foodland with S joining us in the soi. We had some meal and went to my room leaving K on his way to his own. At Foodland at the nearby table I saw Mean, rising star of Moonlight model pack dining with some Oriental young lady. From what I overheard he speaks quite a good English. S as expected was excellent companion, very fitting to finish such busy and attractions filled day.

  47. Day 17 Kamphaeng Phet I woke up at 8 , no rush since driver was supposed to show at 9. About quarter before that we met in front on my hotel wondering if he will show up at all ( remember we paid in full) only to discover that car parked aside is one which will be taking us there. Itā€™s about 80 Km so it took slightly above 1 hour to get there. There are 2 complexes of ruins ā€“ to the north of the center which we visited first and compound in the very center where beside ruins thereā€™s neat museum we visited as well. Admission here is 150 to each of two parts of ruins and 150 to museum as well. Equally impressive ruins as those at Sukhotai also not coverings as vast territory and by every mean worth of travel there even from Bangkok , ,not just from Sukhotai. Kamphaeng Phet may be good breaking point between capital and Chiang Mai as itā€™s exactly mid way. Early afternoon we were back in Sukhotai , as we were hungry we wnet to eat something right away and chicken with nuts was even better than one yesterday for only 2/3 of price. Then we went to museum in Sukhotai, quite interesting but on human scale. Then K went for massage and I went to survey temple near hotel not even shown on the map I got in the hotel and from there on other side of road I spotted another , also unmarked ruin so went to explore it as well, it was start darkening when I went back to the room . here are some pick of that 'forgotten ' temple: At 20.00 we repeated yesterdayā€™s routine with stroll to the center and banana pancake for supper. Returning to the hotel I thought that actually tomorrow I could start that sightseeing all over again. I have strong suspicion it was not my last trip to Sukhotai. In the hotel I ordered van to the airport for our early morning flight for K and me at 350 per person.

  48. correct. Only thing we tend to forget is that while we see final product sometimes it took dozens of years or even generations before final shape of what we marvel at was achieved. In absence of Netlix and Facebook ancients has a lot of time
