  1. I spent a week in the islands getting in some quality beach time. Having checked the local Grindr listings I saw that a favourite porn/OnlyFans performer happened to be on the island. Yesterday at lunch that same actor entered with an older friend and sat at the table next to mine. When the performer went to the washroom, I turned to the other chap and introduced myself, told him I knew who his guest was, and would he tell me the going rate for travel? They both happily shared that they had hooked up via Grindr on the island. The agreed daily rate (exclusive) was $300USD per day plus expensives. Which seemed very reasonable to me for some quality dick on call 24 hours per day and no, I am not going to share the performer’s name, just know he is a well hung Colombian with an OnlyFans.

  4. From The Thaiger The Bank of Thailand announced new measures to protect consumers from cyber risks in mobile banking transactions. Biometric scans, such as facial scans, will be required for high-value transactions, including digital money transfers of over 50,000 baht per transaction, transfers over 200,000 baht per day, and credit transfer amounts of over 50,000 baht per transaction. Banks must adopt these measures by June, the central bank said on Thursday. Bank of Thailand governor Sethaput Suthiwartnarueput said the amount of 50,000 baht was chosen because it is a frequent target of fraudsters. While the measures may inconvenience consumers, they will increase security for digital banking transactions, he added. The central bank also aims to close loopholes and curb fraudsters’ access to consumers by banning financial institutions from sending links via SMS and email, as well as prohibiting banks from sending customers’ personal data through social media. In addition, mobile banking users will only be allowed to use one username per device, Bangkok Post reported. The central bank has collaborated with related organisations in the government and private sector to detect suspicious transactions and deposit accounts. The aim is to detect fraudulent cases more quickly, reducing losses, and preventing nominee deposit account fraud. According to central bank data, there were approximately 50,000 cases of online shopping fraud, 20,000 cases of money transfer fraud, 18,000 cases of lending fraud, and 13,000 cases of call centre fraud between March and December 2022. There were also 58,000 cases of nominee deposit account fraud, with a total reported loss of 5.5 billion baht.

    CX drops mask mandate

From Cathay Pacific In light of the latest announcement by the Hong Kong Government on 28 February 2023 to remove the mask-wearing mandate effective 1 March 2023, our passengers and employees will no longer be required to wear any face coverings when flying with us or visiting our lounges. 8. On the 787, the manmade composite material is formed and baked into large barrels that are linked together to form the fuselage. The composite material doesn't corrode as aluminum does. As a result, the 787 cabin air system will allow 15% humidity, a more comfortable level than the current 4%....fewer pax than the A380 as well. You'll feel better compared to the 777

  10. An alternative to Airbnb for long stays (30 or more days) is to contact hotels directly and inquire if they offer non-advertised discounts. Some are quite willing to quote a rate, particularly during shoulder and low season periods. Before I began using Airbnb, Tarntawan and Amara were among those locations that did offer monthly rates. Doesn't cost anything to ask.

  11. I also like 3some - massages - 4 hands and I don't like to do it in the massage shop - so I pay a premium over what others here in Pattaya / Jomtien pay to do it in the massage shop. I pay 2.000 baht to each guy - 2 massage guys - so, 4.000 baht. Some will sure SCREAM and say that I am overpaying for this local market but I do not believe so by much more. Here is an example if I do the same thing in a massage shop: 500 paid to the massage shop 1.500 tip paid to guy #1 1.500 tip paid to guy #2 ------ 3.500 to do it at the massage shop instead of the comfort of my home where I control the music, lighting, oils and lotions that we use, what we drink, fun chat time also on my balcony to know the guys better. Also, at home I do not need to worry about some things that freak me out at some of the massage shops; bugs and insects, where do I put my valuables when I take my shower, strange smells, temperature is too hot or too cold, I do not like the music, etc. so, for a 500 baht premium I am VERY happy to "order in" for my massage fun...

  12. Intro I have been reading trip reports of those who have recently been to Bangkok, and taken in a lot of the information that helped me decide some of the things I could do and visit on this trip and places I might want to eat at. It’s only fair that I return the favour by writing about my recent visit to Bangkok. I was last in Bangkok in mid February 2020, soon after the start of COVID, and just a few weeks before travel started to shut down to/ from most countries. This February was my first time back in the city since then. On this trip, I had visited a number of other cities in Africa before heading to Thailand. Bangkok was my last stop, before heading home. This time, I was there for 12 days, in mid February. I came via Doha, travelling on Qatar Airways. I will say, without any hesitation, that their service is the best I have experienced compared to many of the other airlines I have travelled on over the past 5 years. Theirs was actually the cheapest fare in business class from the African city I was travelling from. Their lounge in Doha is huge and lots of staff there to help you if you needed any assistance. The lounge in Bangkok, although smaller, was quite something! They have a limited choice of food options in their lounges, although they will make fresh sandwiches and cook eggs for you, if requested. In comparison, the Turkish Airlines Business Lounge in Istanbul tops the list for food options. Sorry for a bit of digression…. I arrived at the Suvarnabhumi Airport around 12:30 pm. A few flights had landed about the same time, so there were several people in the arrivals area at the time. After a good walk, I was in the Fast track immigration line up. The line I was in was taking longer as a farang ahead of me was being asked several questions by the immigration officer. I changed lines and was served by another officer quickly. (The farang must have spent at least 15 mins with the officer overall). By the time I got to the luggage carousel, my bag was already there. I read in other posts that it had taken much longer to get the bags, so it seems some of those issues have now been addressed. There was a lineup for taxis outside, so it took another 10 minutes before getting into the cab. The driver took the Expressway, but upon exit we had to deal with the daytime traffic in Bangkok. I was headed to the Raya, and told the driver to turn on Surawong, but he turned at Silom, so it took an additional 10 mins in that traffic (and slow traffic lights). Did he do that on purpose for the extra charge? I think so! Check in was quick and I was in the suite on the 8th floor in no time. Agoda had a deal going on couple of months prior, so I got the suite at a very decent rate. This was the least I paid for a hotel room during this whole trip, where I stayed at a number of hotels in different cities. I had invited a friend from Philippines to join me on day 5 of my trip. He was there for a week. While we had some of our meals together, we otherwise each did our own thing. Over the course of 12 days, the weather was very warm, reaching up to 35 degrees on some days. Things cooled down to about 26 deg for 3-4 days after a heavy rainfall overnight and in the morning during the middle part of my trip. Although it became very humid for a day, it was then pleasant. After the short reprieve, the temperature soared back to 35 degrees. What a change in the weather when heading home: from temperatures that reached mid 30’s in Bangkok, to almost zero (with some snow and lots of rain) in my hometown.

  16. Here is a brief report on Belo Horizonte. (Upon re-reading the report below I’ve realized how drunk I was while I wrote it on my flight back to Paris. Lol. Anyway, I hope you enjoy:) I was there for 5 days, stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn. 40k points in total so 8k (about 30 usd) per night, which is a steal. The hotel is in a higher middle class area, 10 minutes walk south of Contorno (ring road), with nice shops and restaurants around. It might not be as commercial as Savassi area, where the Holiday Inn is, but it sufficed for me. By the way, in terms of international hotels, these two are as good as it gets in BH. The touristic interests of BH is limited. The museums around Liberty Circle are surprisingly well appointed. Some buildings of Niemeyer in the center are worth a glimpse. Ouro Preto is cute but seriously over rated. Any city over 200k inhabitants in Europe would a more decent old town. I was just there for a day trop. One mirante, two churches and three museums took me 5 hours. If not for a last minute hookup, I’d be bored to tears there. Personally I don’t consider the mineiros the best looking, nor the most hung of all. They are friendly, with mild demeanor and a laidback attitude. This was especially enjoyable in a non-GP sauna. I visited Tres Chic, and scored 3 guys under an hour. Great facility, clean, functioning, with about 30 clean and free cabines upstairs. There were about 100 guys in that Sunday afternoon. The clientele is mostly next door type aging from 30 to 50, very easy to approach. I picked those 3 that I considered the best looking and most hung, one Northern European, one Latino and one afro. None of them resisted. I almost feared that they were gonna charge me something. No, they were just nice to this lost Asian visitor. The first one cum before me, very apologizing. The second one made me cum without finishing up. The afro synchronized perfectly with me and we remained chatting quite a while after. I sized up lots of guys’ cocks there and most of them rang from 15cm to 18cm. Those 3 I picked were 18, 20, 21cm. There were about 3 very young guys there. Scarily young. One was constantly sitting in a dark corner in from of the glory hole entrance. I suppose that he was waiting for mouthy delicacies. One I really wanted to kiss but he disappeared after I finished my 3rd. I shouldn’t have hesitated. Guys don’t remove their towels, not even in the saunas. You really have to walk to them and size it up yourself. The only complain I have is that cellphones are not allowed inside. And that was the very reason I left after merely 1 hour. I did meet lots of free Grindr guys, about 3 per day. One cute bottom was delicious! He came directly from the gym in front of the hotel. He rode my cock like a champ and cum hands free. The most incredible find was on the second last day, an half afro, one quarter indigenous, one quarter European. We talked on Grindr, met in front of the Sanctuario Sao Jose, and walked in the city park while having long chats about everything and nothing. He came with me to the hotel, stayed with me till my cab ride to the airport. His 24 cm cock was one of the most enjoyable ones I have ever had in my ass. We kept in contact and I’m sure I’ll see him again. I brought him to Olympos. We watched the show there, had some drinks and had some light snacks. The Kibe was really good m. There were about 3 or 4 boys I could have hired, but they all lost their lusters compared to my companion. The boys were friendly without being pushy. They all came to introduce themselves, showed off their merchandise, then left us alone. The asking price was 150 and I’m positively sure they’d accept 100. None of them had a cock over 22 cm, and all of them claimed to be top. I’m not sure I would want to go back to BH but I definitely don’t regret that I went there.

  18. Back to South America topic … The Avianca flights BOG-GRU (mid Jan) and GIG-BOG (mid Feb) were great, only $625 USD combined price, very roomy, the best seats (bulkhead in my case), again as business class for most of the western hemisphere has given way to the new 2-2 configuration with the middle table first few rows. At that price, bringing snacks or buying on board not an imposition. Lounge access El Dorado due to the highest flight fare class, but not at Galeão. Air Canada business class to Bogotá return was merely $1150USD. Air Canada business fare to São Paulo was running $7000USD for similar dates, twice the distance for 6 times the fare price, no thanks. The itinerary ultimately worked out well, for both multiple destination goals and savings.

  24. 3 times as many were killed within USSR alone: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_repression_in_the_Soviet_Union Russia has already been defeated in the Cold War - that’s what, clearly, you and (Lilli)Putin cannot get over. You’re not the superpower anymore, but rather one of the emerging economies along with countries and races you do despise (BRICS) - you are not the leader even in that group, but rather are becoming China’s client state. And don’t get me started on the prejudice in the Russia’s establishment, as well as demeaning treatment of the peoples within the Federation, little less of other races. There are very specific Russian words that don’t even exist in English describing races by color of one’s behind, or shape of one’s eyes. But his can one expect you to like others when you don’t even like each other. Here is a quote by a famous Russian: “Помяните мое слово, если Россия от чего-то погибнет, то исключительно от хамства! Хам на хаме сидит и хамом погоняет! Сверху донизу сплошные хамы!” (“Mark my words, if there’s a demise of Russia, it will be exclusively from rudeness! The boor sits on the boor and rules over a boor! From top to bottom, solid boors!”)

    Belo Horizonte Feb. 2023

This weekend 10 years ago -- You have a good memory. Beach in BH -- I thought BH is an inland city. Cheap hotel -- yes hotels in BH are a lot cheaper than Rio or SP. BH is not a tourist destination. I have been to BH 4 times, 3 time before Covid pandemic. I was there last October. I use BH as a side trip of Rio or SP or in between. What I like most about BH is the people. People there are very laidback, warm and friendly, but the clubs and saunas are...meh. I guess the pandemic changed everything. I don't think I will bother to visit BH again.

But, back then there was not Gridnr that I knew of so I was left to the saunas and to the beach. I did well at the beach for some reason and found a group that was gay and liked being passed around (well, me being passed around). I also found my hotel VERY cheap and the activities cheap as well.

Somehow, the QAnon'ers over there cannot help but revert to their compulsive behaviors given half a chance. Of course the mods look the other way as long as no one ventures even slightly to the left of center. Other than such amusing displays, for those of us who find our porn elsewhere, the site has become pretty darn boring I would say.

  36. "now that weed is legal in Thailand" be very careful about this ! Only weed with less than 0,2 of THC is legal. This is quite low and many shops does not respect this limit... at the buyer risk. The new Police Scam is for them to randomly check tourists with weed... they know that it is quite probable that the weed will not comply with this limit (they have fast check kits). So if you buy weed, have also 15 000 THB with you to pay the fine... the police love these new easy income...

  37. Eating I visited the restaurant in Foodland, that has been mentioned several times by other members. I went there for breakfast the first morning in BKK. Cost was very reasonable, as has been mentioned, but I found the portions too big for me, so food went to waste. Following days, I went to a coffee shop in the Silom Complex, in Chamchuri Square and other shops near by. I also went to the Crackhouse (what a name!) for delicious pancakes. It is located in the Commons on Sala Daeng Road. Dinners were at a mix of restaurants – Thai, Indian, fast food (had to try the chicken at Texas Chicken!). Al Saray restaurant on Silom near the Sala Daeng BTS Station was a new find for me. They serve Indian and Lebanese food. I had one of the best biryanis there. I also visited G’s (mentioned by @vinapu in his posts). Went there twice on subsequent days. Went alone one day and had their chicken with cashews. On that day, it was delicious. My Filipino friend also wanted to go there, so we went there the next day. And the same dish was not that great. Quite dry, less tasty and I had an upset stomach after eating there. Not sure what really caused that. It is always a treat eating Thai dishes in the different restaurants. All (except for one day) are pretty good and quite reasonably priced.

  38. Rather than describing what happened each day of my visit, I will provide comments on different parts of my stay in Bangkok. Impressions & Observations of Bangkok on this trip I walked around the Surawong and Silom areas everyday and here are my observations of what I noticed since my last visit. Overall, there were fewer tourists than before, particularly those from China. The Patpong Night market is open again, but there seemed to be fewer stalls and fewer people visiting them each night. There seemed to be more massage shops on Surawong. A number of marijuana shops have opened up all over, now that weed is legal in Thailand. Several food carts along Surawong were open and seemed to be doing fine. Shops and services on Thaniya Road seem to be catering to mostly Japanese tourists now; I don’t recall that being the case before. Things are still not quite back to normal after the pandemic. A few of the places were still shuttered shut and have not reopened. I initially thought that some of the restaurants I had previously gone to were permanently closed. But I was mistaken: 2 of the 3 were still open. An Indian restaurant on Surawong is no longer there. Of the other 2, one closes early at 9 pm (I went there after 9) and the other is a restaurant now also sells weed (I initially thought the whole place was converted to a weed shop). A new fast-food place has opened up on Silom, near Sala Deng BTS Station – Texas Chicken; you see them being promoted in some of the Thai BL series. A lot more MBs and “massage therapists” are now on Grindr. Others have mentioned this too. A good number of locals wore masks, even when outside. Most tourists did not. On BTS, most folks, including foreigners, wore masks. Tim Horton’s, which has thousands of coffee shops in Canada, has recently opened some shops in Bangkok. I went to one and was disappointed. They do not offer brewed coffee – a bread-and-butter item in Canada at Tim’s - nor a plain toasted bagel. They offer Americanos, lattes, and other beverages and bagels with cream cheese only. XOne had the best exchange rates as mentioned by @vinapu (I hang on to every word he writes, and then I can’t go wrong! ).

He was very fun to be with, I took him to a temple visit around Pattaya, to the elephant park / garden, to the mall, to the big Buddha statue, to a river cruise+dinner in Bangkok, to get a manicure and a couple massage etc. And of course every meal together. If you have a bit of chemistry, it works. Maybe not for two weeks, but 3 days is fun and you get to learn a bit more about that guy that if you had just an overnight.

  41. In addition, someone here did tell people a GP is his bf. That's just laughable, not sure what world he lives in. Of course you can shower a Brazilian prostitute with money, a business class flight to Thailand, free room and board. All of these expenses were really just the payment for sex with the prostitute. But, no I don't think I would tell people a prostitute is my bf.

These expenses have also risen in SE Asia so don't be surprised if tip expectations have likewise risen.

  49. Turkish guys can be very hot and very sweet. Language is an issue outside the tourist areas. (And overbearing rug merchants are an issue IN the tourist areas.) Aquarius is okay if you aren't expecting a Brazil-level establishment and if you like Middle-Eastern, light skinned, somewhat hirsute guys. They readily accepted ~50-60EUR from me (this was last year, before the Turkish economy cratered even further). Many years ago, two probably underaged guys approached me on the street in a random, non-touristy area, making their purpose very obvious, and I moved away as fast as possible. Beware. But Istanbul is fantastic in so, so many other ways.
    1 point
  50. In Turkey, I only know Istanbul. I love that city, the culture ... the food ... and there are so many handsome men. Unfortunately, where I've stayed does not allow guests. I've been there during Ramadan when many guys stick close to family, particularly during evenings when they break the fast. If a primary purpose of a trip abroad is to have sex, Istanbul/Turkey would not be my choice. Not if I'm traveling from the USA. But, when I am there again and have accommodation where I can invite someone back ... paying 100 Euro to a guy who interests me would not upset me. I'd do it - because my appetite isn't as voracious as many others who post here!. I loved riding the trams and street cars ... and brushing up against so many handsome men whose smiles almost melted me in their presence. I've also spent some time in the Kurdish quarter of Istanbul ... and find the young men handsome. Very.
