  1. From Pattaya News Pattaya is experiencing a surge in tourism, with hotels exceeding 90% room occupancy driven by an influx of visitors from China, Russia, and India, alongside a rise in domestic tourism. According to Mr. Sanphet Supabawornsathien, president of the Eastern Thai Hotel Association, this positive trend is fueled by several factors. Russian tourists, seeking respite from the cold and the ongoing war with Ukraine, have chosen Pattaya as their destination, leading to increased flight frequency since late January. This resurgence is further bolstered by the return of Chinese tourists, who began visiting Pattaya earlier this year. Indian tourists are also contributing to the tourism boom. Notably, while domestic Thai tourists were relatively scarce in January, their numbers have significantly risen during recent long weekends, indicating a growing domestic travel interest in Pattaya. Mr. Sanphet noted a shift in booking behavior among Thai tourists, who are now making last-minute reservations as opposed to the traditional advance booking pattern. This trend is reflected in his own hotel chain, where room reservations have increased by over 200 rooms on average, signifying a citywide occupancy rate of more than 90%.

  2. I've always been aware of the difference between being friendy and being a friend. If I was unable to make the distinction I think I would have been disappointed many times in my relationships with Thai guys over the years.

  4. The question is what kind of friend. I think many westerners think friendship is by definition two equals. My experience is that in many other parts of the world this isn't true. These relationships come with expectations that the richer/older/wiser is the patron/mentor. Note the richer part. That doesn't mean the relationship is purely mercenary (though it could be), but it does often mean that the richer one is supposed to 'help' the younger one. So, I think it isn't always either/or. Sometimes its both. Proceed with whatever caution you deem warranted and assess it in the light that both want something from the relationship and it may not be the same thing even if both are fond of each other.

  7. I've always wondered why Sunee Plaza didn't promote itself on social media to the gay Chinese and Japanese markets, which consist of millions of horny guys. If their promotion reached only a very small percentage of these markets, Sunee would be booming today. If only they knew what was available in the form of gay entertainment - especially of the sleazy, hands -on bars which only ever really thrived in Sunee, they'd be arriving in droves. They could enjoy experiences unheard of in their own countries. Friends in Japan had no idea such a place existed until I told them of my adventures and were genuinely shocked. Such sleaze exists in Japan, but only in private sex clubs which are too expensive for most.

  9. Hunter Biden testified in Congress today, behind closed doors. Ben Meisales is a favorite political vlogger. Here he covers the testimony. I learned so much from this. Well worth a listen. My impression of Hunter improved a lot. One might wonder when the GOP will stop, yet by now it seems they never will.

  11. I recently finished another trip to SP and I met a couple of guys who worked there. We formed a bit of a smoking area club and hung out a lot. They gave me WhatsApp and insta contacts and I thought they were genuinely interested in being friends. Is there anyone with anymore experience to give me advice here? Have I mixed up a good service from an escort or could I have a genuine connection with these (2) guys? The reason I'm thinking it is more is the extras... both of the guys let me know some of their vulnerabilities and one took me to his apartment to show me round. I was introduced to friends of there's outside the club. Ps. I don't have an attachment disorder. šŸ˜„

  12. Winner Boys set to Re-Open 1st June (Thai English of course haha) Great news, for those of you in Thailand anyway, Winner Boys in Sunee Plaza will re-open inside this coming week on 1st June from 7pm till midnight. Whatā€™s more we are promised twinks in small pants dancing on stage again (no jeans). Technically Winner Boys has never completely closed, although that was certainly threatened in the depths of Covid regulations. But it has been well over a year since it was open inside with boys dancing on stage in their underwear. (Boss Paul standing in blue shirt. A nice guy, please say Hi to him if you visit) Latterly it has only been open outside at small tables set out into the plaza. Many boys had gone home and only a handful were there on a daily basis, some actually sleeping inside the bar at nights as they had no money for a room. Great lads though and some fun nights outside there in recent holidays (I was last there in April), but its not the same as near naked boys in underwear (sometimes micro underwear). Hopefully some of you in Pattaya can make your way to this bar in the next few days and encourage more of the boys to return; just wish I was there to enjoy it with you! If you do visit please report back ā€¦. šŸ˜Š Until then a clip to remind you of why Winner Boys is such a great place to visit. video-1653821638.mp4 I include the FaceBook link for those interested: https://www.facebook.com/winnerboybarpattaya/?ref=page_internal

  16. I did say that Europe, not civilization overall, faltered under Christianity. Mathematics, science, and other cultures flourished in areas controlled by the Muslims, Chinese, etc. European civilization began to move again with and following the Renaissance, when Copernicus and Galileo were able to deduce that the earth wasn't the center of the universe, artists started painting non-religious themes, the printing press allowed the dissemination of new ideas, and so on. Fortunately, once the Muslims took over Egypt, the attempts of the Christians to cover up Egyptian history were halted. Of course, now some Muslim fringe groups such as ISIS and the Taliban have used dynamite to try to erase their countries non-Islamic history.

  17. In my opinion you HIT the nail on the head with what you wrote above. Firstly, there is a HUGE missed opportunity of presenting ALL of the Gay Pattaya on social media. Currently it is fragmented - you have the Jomtien Supertown Complex website system (https://www.gaysupertown.com/) which has web media, blog, Facebook, and Twitter feeds. BUT - it is ONLY focused on what is within the walls of the Jomtien Supertown Complex - like a medieval city. To hell with anything gay that is outside of those walls - even if they exist in Jomtien. This blog also is missing a very much needed section on how to retire successfully in the Pattaya area - like what are the things to do and those things to avoid. Instead, each of us who chose to retire here need to do it on our own and pray and hope that we made the right decisions to make it successful. Then Boyztown and Sunee are almost non-existent in social media. So, in my opinion, the worst enemy of the gay community in Pattaya is the same gay community that allows for this defragmented and not united methodology to marketing on ALL of the millions of social media outlets a COMBINED focus on what Gay Pattaya has to offer. It is absent. In closing, in my opinion, until there is a change in the above marketing deficiencies - I believe that Gay Pattaya will continue to disappear - as there is no SINGLE marketing voice to market Gay Pattaya to the world.

  20. This has to be excellent news, and there must be a percentage of visitors who are gay or gay curious. Yet so many of our boy bars complain about lack of customers. My boyfriend in BoyzTown often video calls me from a seemingly empty BoyzTown. Elsewhere, Soi Bukhao, Soi 6, Walking Street, etc., are booming. I saw for myself last month how busy they were most nights. There could be many reasons for the lack of gay tourists, but I would suggest that one of those reasons is that most gay establishments are utterly hopeless at self-promotion on social media or elsewhere. On the other hand you cant keep some of the Soi 6 Bar managers off social media - they are promoting their bar and their girls every day. I would suggest a second reason, in BoyzTown at least, is the horrendous beer prices in the bars, Toy Boys for example now wants 300 baht for a small San Miguel Light. The sadness is that Gay Pattaya has so much to offer, and so many stunning, willing boys to entertain us.

    Hi Guys!

It all depends on the guy, of course. My regular guy in Pattaya who I've spent the majority of my holidays with is actually quite shy in person. He is softly spoken and very polite. But when working in Eros he let it all hang out and was anything but shy. Same, same in bed. He started off at Happy Boys and was very uncomfortable baring his arse for all to see. He wanted to go back home but his friend there told him to hang in there, and he soon got used to it and just treated it as a job. His attitude to sex in general reflects a common Thai attitude - it's no big deal. No need to be hung up about it. And if you're far from home, just go for it, especially if you're a handsome guy with a big cock. This attitude ran in the family - his younger brother worked with him in Eros and his sister worked in Walking Street. I think she found a farang to "take care of" her. And as shy as he is, he made at least 1 gay porn movie when he was 18.

  25. The Pet Shop Boys have release a new single called Loneliness As a song it is fairly similar to pretty much all their other songs, and a similar theme, but if you are of a certain age like me who was in my teens in the late Eighties/Nineties, it is an irresistably nostalgic listen. And the video for it has a nice story-line and some very cute men (sometimes wearing very little), so even if you are not into the Pet Shop Boys it might be worth a click: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUVfoybVqIg&t=314s&ab_channel=PetShopBoys

  26. Facts have been very bad to you, I know. Nuance and humor has been even worse to you I guess. I don't think Bloomberg is fake news. You're the fact-free cultist saying polls you don't like are fake news. So let's try this again. These are very simple facts. Try hard, buddy. Try hard. That is from Bloomberg News, which YOU cited. LMFAO that you are so hostile to facts that you can't even absorb facts from the websites and polls YOU cite. But since YOU cited this website and YOU cited this poll, try to believe it, buddy. Try hard. Facts won't hurt you. The race is "almost evenly split" in Wisconsin and Michigan, according to Bloomberg. That's means tied, buddy. Not a landslide. Not a victory. A tie. Here's another fact from the website YOU cited and the poll YOU cited. LMFAO that you can't absorb facts from polls YOU post. Again, that is from the Bloomberg poll YOU cited. Like Biden, a majority of voters think Trump is too old to run. The difference between Biden supporters like me and The Cult is Biden supporters, and in fact most Democrats and Independents, agree both Biden and Trump are too old. The Cult can't admit that even to itself. Let alone that a majority of voters think Trump is dangerous. If you want to believe Trump has already won in a landslide, just like you want to believe he won in 2020, go ahead. It won't change anything when he loses. The numbers that explain the messy Michigan primary results The fact that there's a poll right now that says Biden is "almost evenly split" is actually relatively good news for Biden, given how pissed a lot of his base voters are with him now over Gaza. If Biden does lose Michigan, this will be why. Trump and Netankillyu would be fine with paving over Gaza with the blood of Palestinian women and kids. So it's far from clear how this plays out once that becomes clearer to voters who are pissed at Biden. But if his base continues to say "Fuck you, Genocide Joe," which is what over 100,000 of them said on Tuesday, that could be fatal. Bloomberg and all the polls have ZERO clue how that will turn out. That's mostly up to Biden at this point.

    Nice Boys

I have been going to Nice Boys for a number of years now. I have also offed a number of boys over those same years, some for extended periods. This bar is no place for the shy; boy or customer! Its arguably not quite as raunchy as it was pre-Covid, but it remains the only gay bar left in Pattaya that routinely offers the same levels of 'hands-on' (indeed even 'mouth-on') activity in the bar between customer and boy. Not as cheap as it was in terms of drink prices, but still great value. I love the place; long may it thrive! šŸ˜

  29. Well from my experience lots will have changed by December. But I visit often so can update before your trip. Gay bars Toolbox - just reopened, has shirtless dancers, fun place POC - great little bar, open late, dancers every night, drag queens fri and sat, great staff, very welcoming Blue Chilli - recently moved, not tried the new venue, drag shows, big crowds Heart of Darkness - drag shows, lots of gay guys there but itā€™s really touristy and not my favourite place but is open really late like 5am sometimes Space Hair - really hot waiters, hands everywhere! Hotels There are 3 gay ones, and 2 are really well priced, the Birdcage and Pride resort. The Birdcage are fine with guests they just have to leave their id at reception if they are locals. Thereā€™s also Arthur and Paulā€™s, itā€™s really lovely but had a recent price increase. Saunas and massage I think LOVE is the only sauna that would be like a gay sauna in other countries, but I didnā€™t enjoy my experience there at all. The host or manager was super friendly but it was just not clean. The other places are all massage places only but I found them all to be quite nice environments, not sleazy and fairly easy to find etc. Hather Khmer massage being the most fancy, always lots of guys to choose from if you want a massage and always clean. Then thereā€™s ones called Man Massage World, Ahram massage, Chanak spa, Paradise massage, Ganesh. They all have telegram so perhaps get that before you come and you can make appointments or just show up and see who is there. Facebook is still very popular here so you can find the place on Facebook and it will almost always have there telegram channel linked

  30. I found Sukhotai one the most pleasant places in Thailand ; the laid-back ambiance , the nice people and the beutiful old city . I booked only 2 nights before heading to Chiang Mai by bus and regretted I didn't stay more. Phuket is a waste of time for gay activity I visited first time at 2000 there was a huge gay Beach with lots of boys hanging there and Paradise Complex was packed with gay go go bars clubs and open bars all is gone also the apps are hopeless . If you are for tourist purposes it's enjoyable destination but as for gay activities it's not what it used to be in the past. I won't return in the near future.

  31. another example of idiocy sweeping the world. No wonder that Trumps, Orbans, Le Pens and the likes find receptive auditoriums. Museums world over are filled with items which millions, perhaps billions may consider sacred. Are we supposed to close Louvre because some modern day Greek will claim that Nike is representation of goddess his ancestors considered sacred ? What about all those museums of religious art every self respecting city in Latin America claims to have ?.

  34. Well, I'm not fixated on the size per se - unlike Salvador that is a very black city, the ones in Nordeste are definitely lighter, but not as much as SP or Porto Alegre. In Fortaleza, there was one indigenous guy from the hinterlands in Amazonas who was simply outstanding. I'd say it's a healthy mix of various types there. I really liked festivals in Sao Luis - I was at the June one and it was almost Carnival-like. It's a city thriving on music, so I came back a couple of times.

  36. I have a summer job that includes occasionally dealing with some Americans, mostly older men who have made a lot of money in their lives and mostly through their own hard work and smarts. Yet I overhear them making comments about Trump being persecuted and falsely accused and all kinds of other ridiculous comments. I can understand people who know Trump for what he is, but still prefer him over the alternative....(especially Clinton, she's nasty), but how can smart people pretend that he's a decent human being.
