  9. Facts, anyone? Your own chart: In 2017, when Trump was President, accidental drug deaths soared to all time highs. In 2018, when Trump was President, accidental drug deaths soared to new all time highs. in 2019, when Trump was President, accidental drug deaths soared to even higher all time highs. In 2020, when the American public ended the failed Presidency of this incompetent crook, accidental drug deaths soared by 20,000 deaths in one year alone, to a staggering new all time high. Altogether, based on your own chart, which only goes to 2020, accidental drug deaths soared under the crooked incompetent Trump at an unprecedented pace. Under Biden, they are rising at a much slower pace, and may be starting to flatten out. You are literally blaming the horrific rise in deaths under Trump on Biden. Literally. All your chart does is extrapolate the horrific rate of increase of the tens of thousands of additional deaths that happened under incompetent Trump, and blames it on Biden. Even though those rates flattened out under Biden, and declined in many states. What did facts do to you, @EmmetK? Did facts abuse you? Because you are very abusive to facts.

I'm exactly in the middle between you too above and I generally don't even notice tattoos leading to funny situations when I offed guy from Moonlight few times last trip and then saw their January clip on Twitter featuring him and was surprised that his whole back was tattooed. But I agree with reader that noticing and complimenting their tattoo (or new shoes or whatever ) creates a lot of good will , generates smile and breaks ice.

  12. From The Nation Ko Muang Phet, a magnificent albino buffalo owned by Damrongsak Morakot in Phetchaburi province, recently made headlines when it was bought for a whopping 18 million baht. Renowned for its striking beauty and colossal size, the buffalo is known for its remarkable breeding capability because 90% of its offspring will be born with albino traits. This means, nine of 10 calves produced will be albino, which makes it a significant asset in the buffalo breeding industry. Adding to its fame, Ko Muang Phet also made a mark in the entertainment world, starring as the character Ai Khlaow’s buffalo in the most recent version of the popular “Mon Rak Luk Thung” TV drama. Despite being just about five years old and standing at an impressive height of 180 centimetres, Ko Muang Phet has earned the title of Thailand’s top giant breeding buffalo, remaining undefeated in competitions for years.

  14. He took no civics class, obviously. That's the problem. Actually, it's worse. His civics class is being taught by Donald Trump and his Cult. You get extra credit for lies, and breaking the bones of cops to destroy democracy. Needless to say, it is tragic. Much is being lost. First, @EmmetK, I'll state again that your own chart shows that accidental drug deaths soared under Trump, and are slowing under Biden. Fentanyl trafficking across the border soared under Trump. So it is a bipartisan problem. Trump let it fester and get worse and worse. Your own facts prove it. But, hey. Why bother with facts? Seemingly, Sen, Katie Britt ignored the civics classes, too. And the facts. She must have gone to Trump U. Sex trafficking survivor slams Britt for inaccurate story in SOTU response Sure, go ahead. Get it all wrong, and blame it on Biden. That's a Cult thing to do. It's his fault. Here's what's being lost by this asinine, uncivil behavior: actually doing something. Two of the most significant bills to protect women from sex trafficking are the Violence Against Women's Act, and the Trafficking Victims Protection Act. I think they are viewed as the landmark and cornerstone protections that have both been very effective. Both depended on strong bipartisan support to actually do something. The Violence Against Women Act was introduced in the House by Dem. Rep. Jack Brooks. But Biden did the heavy lifting in the Senate, and appropriately takes credit for it. The TVPA is acknowledged by most advocates as the single most effective piece of legislation in cracking down on sex trafficking, where it has been fully funded and enforced. That was liberal Democratic Sen. Paul Wellstone and conservative Republican Sen Sam Brownback. Very bipartisan. Sen. Britt went to the Mexican border, met the trafficking victim above, and then did nothing - other than attack Biden for something that did not happen in the US, and happened while W. was President. By comparison, Sen. Brownback went to Nepal, met victims of trafficking, was moved to do something, and joined Wellstone on bipartisan action. Perhaps that is why Brownback had a distinguished career as both a US Senator and Governor. Much like Bob Graham of Florida, who with Sandra Day O'Connor was an advocate for teaching civics in school. All very honorable public servants. Too bad they weren't able to help Sen. Britt. She could use some civics. And some facts. The fun fact about the TVPA for those who knew and loved Paul and his wife Sheila is that she was one of the forces behind the bill. She organized the wives of other Senators she was friends with, both Democrat and Republican, to get their husbands to make protecting women from sex trafficking a priority. That is civics. That is actually doing something. But don't ask me. Ask Republican Ken Buck, who just announced he's had enough of the bullshit and won't even serve out the rest of his term:

I found it increasingly difficult this year to get a proper manicure/pedicure in the city as many spas will tell you they don't offer their serivces to men (not true but what are you going to say/do?) I found a new barbershop that I am happy to share -- Desert Eagle Barba VIP in the Mall Gran Via (Transversal 75B #5-106 - barrio Belén) that offers a complete set of services to men in a funky and friendly environment. They offer bar service and a pool table while you wait your turn with one of eight barbers. Services include haircut, shave + beard services, facial exfoliation, manicures, pedicures, and waxing (ears, nose, eyebrows). Prices slightly higher than other barbershops but happy to pay to get everything done in one stop. WhatsApp +57 302 3427971

  20. From The Nation Members of the red-shirt movement held a motorcade in Chiang Mai on Wednesday to rouse supporters to join them in welcoming former PM Thaksin Shinawatra when he arrives on Thursday. Thaksin will be visiting Chiang Mai for the first time in 17 years, after spending more than a decade in self-imposed exile overseas. Joining the motorcade on Wednesday were red-shirt supporters from Lopburi, Nonthaburi and Pathum Thani. More red-shirt supporters are expected to join them from other provinces, including Lamphun, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Phitsanulok and Nakhon Sawan to name a few. Some of the supporters told local press that they had travelled from Lopburi to join the welcoming crowds on Thursday and had participated in the motorcade on Wednesday. They added that they had travelled to Chiang Mai on their own accord and were excited that Thaksin was returning home. When asked if they wanted him to return to politics, they said they preferred him in the position of adviser, so younger politicians can get a chance in the field. Thaksin will take his private jet to Chiang Mai on Thursday and will be staying in his home at the Summit Green Valley Chiang Mai Country Club. His family will be joining him the following day to make merit and pay respects to ancestors before the former leader returns to Bangkok on Saturday. Thaksin is being allowed to spend some time in his hometown despite being under parole for the rest of his one-year sentence.

  22. Oh. Do you mean facts? What did they do to you? How did facts abuse you? You poor thing! A new poll just out reinforces what I have been saying about third party voters. It is even better for Biden than I thought. This polls shows Trump leading 40/38, a two point margin just like the RCP average. Here's what else it says: If 15 % of Biden or Trump voters change their mind, that could go either way. But with Stein and West, it actually can't. In this poll, 2 % of voters back Stein, and 2 % back West. If many of them shift - which they are saying they are open to doing - guess where they will go? You think Stein and West voters will vote for Trump? That alone would give Biden a small lead, if that is the only thing that changes. If there is a recession that is about to hit, that is the main thing that could change people's mind negatively against Biden. But, as I documented above, the momentum is going the other way. People are feeling better, not worse, about their personal financial situation. The good news for Biden is it's almost impossible for more people to say his age is a concern. That is now baked into the cake. Meanwhile, 57 % of voters say they approve of Trump's Presidency. So we know at least 7 % of Americans that NEVER approved of Trump's Presidency FOR ONE DAY while he was POTUS are open to being reminded about why the fired Trump is the first place. They will be reminded. Sorry for being abusive by stating facts, @EmmetK.

    The Salesman

From The Nation Time magazine has placed Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin on the cover of its March 25 edition, calling him “The Salesman”. “I want to tell the world that Thailand is open for business again,” Srettha tells Time’s Charlie Campbell, during a wide-ranging interview held in a Government House room “ringed by whiteboards chock-full of scrawled policy objectives: digital wallets, national aviation hubs, potash mining, Tesla”. Srettha stares from the cover with a look of determination on his face, arms crossed over his chest. The prime minister’s efforts since taking office last August have already paid dividends, Time says, noting that foreign direct investment in the fourth quarter of 2023 doubled from a year earlier as Amazon Web Services, Google and Microsoft inked deals worth a combined US$8.3 billion or 296 billion baht. But Srettha has inherited a stagnating economy, soaring inequality and a politically divided country from the previous “quasi-military” government, it adds. Thailand’s GDP growth “has been below 2% over the past decade, while neighbours like the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam registered double to triple that rate and ate Thailand’s lunch on FDI”. Srettha freely acknowledges the depth of his challenge, telling the American news icon that Thailand is in an “economic crisis”. However, Time says the country feels “shortchanged by his election” after Srettha’s Pheu Thai party came second to Move Forward, which was then blocked from forming a government by a military-appointed Senate. “The paradox is that Srettha is fighting to fix Thailand’s economy by partnering with the same forces invested in thwarting major reform,” the magazine says. 33. Exactly. Cult thinking. Murder declined in every major city in America in 2023, based on that chart I posted twice now. But instead of caring about fewer murders - thousands less murders - you just want to engage in cult blame. It doesn't matter to you that murders spiked - by the thousands - under Trump. Your duty is to worship him. The cult does not know the names of the thousands who were murdered during Trump's murder spike. The cult does not care about them, or their families, or their stories. The cult does not care about the tens of thousands of innocent women and children being killed in Ukraine by the genocidal monster Trump wants you to bow down to. All the cult wants to do is engage in its ritualistic blame and hatred of Joe Biden.

  37. Summary Definitely and by far sightseeing’s high point was Sukhotai and Kampheang Phet. Fact that my friend K decided to go with me doubled that travel fun. Angkor and environs were second, because all those places I already visited in the past but Cambodian ruins have such pull on me that I can visit there to no end. I’m glad I went to Phuket, finally I know how it is there and may return in future if only to explore gay scene bit more energetically than I did this time. I beat my cousin to James Bond Island , that counts for plenty as well. As for boys I did not get anybody I regretted to engage. With few some improvement could be used but there were no antics like leaving suddenly out of blue (ok there was one case but I let it go for reason explained ) . It looks that engaging tried and tested pays big time and if we meet winner it’s good to keep him close like I did with both PP and Pattaya guys, new to me. S was great travel companion and I’m glad I had him with me in Siem Reap and by my side every few days in Bangkok. Y knows I like him and shows his appreciation every time we met. NM surprisingly showed his romantic side and both Tawan guys I offed facilitated steamiest nights I had in whole month. All 7 guys mentioned above had one endearing trait, none of them asked for any extras other than agreed. When we dined their choices were modest. I liked that . I don’t mind to open purse but don’t like to be treated as money well. Some quotations this trip were excessive, certainly boys are trying to cash in. With one exception I managed to keep their tips within my budget, bargaining down when necessary. Only case I yielded I treated as last of our many meeting in the past and can’t see repeat in the future. It was one upsetting disappointment , right in the beginning, indifferent look of Jupiter guy , veteran of many offs. But I guess all comers to an end, even customer loyalty and client’s infatuation . And two regrets, both for lack of time . I should off that Tawan waiter at least once more. I never thought I will be regretting not offing the twink but here I am. And I did not gave a chance to two Banana Club guys , Vu Thy and new #31. I think I know where my first steps next trip will be. Now you guys can vent your frustrations with me “ who the fuck writes such long and convoluted trip reports ? Screw you vinapu!

  38. You need to stop the shit and stop repeating MSNBC talking points. Dementia Joe Biden, thru his actions and policies, has thrown out the welcome mat to every fentanyl dealer, sex trafficker, and criminal in the world. Dementia Joe Biden has blood on his hands. He is responsible for the death of Laken (not Lincoln) Riley and all the other victims of crimes committed by Dementia Joe's invited guests (aka newcomers). Why do you think that every poll shows Trump leading Biden? You may find it painful to see Trump read the teleprompter; however, clearly you are in the minority as more Americans find it more painful to watch Dementia Joe try to piece together a comprehensible sentence. If it's painful for you to watch Trump read from a teleprompter, you'll need a dose of Xanax to watch the Trump inauguration.....lol.

  39. Joe's dementia is killing US cities.... And Joe's policies are killing US citizens: Laken Riley. Killed by a "newcomer" invited into the country by Dementia Joe Biden and his open border policy. https://medicalxpress.com/news/2022-05-overdose-deaths-years-devastating-toll.html Fentanyl deaths are skyrocketing under Dementia Joe Biden's open border policy Thank you Joe Biden for inviting murderers, drug dealers, sex traffickers, and other criminals across the border. Thank you for instituting catch-and-release. Thank you for ending the Remain-in-Mexico policy. The end of this rampage of allowing illegal migrants to: cross the border, murder innocents, assault police officers, and traffic fentanyl will soon be over.

  40. Information for you: here it’s not like in Ukraine, no one forces people to go to war. The short 1-month mobilization took place almost 2 years ago, even before flights to Thailand were established after COVID. That’s why those who fled mobilization then fled to Kazakhstan, Armenia, Turkey, and Belarus. More than 90% of them have already returned, since mobilizations have not been repeated. Recruitment into the army for the war in Ukraine is carried out exclusively voluntarily, on contractual terms. I would rather believe not in a dissident, but in mafia showdowns. The FSB has squeezed out almost all organized crime from Russia. Those who did not escape are in prison. Those who fled from the FSB have settled in different countries and are trying to restore their usual way of life. Given the language barrier, they are not good at this, so there is a lot of struggle among themselves. If I were the Thai government, I would have long ago invited 10-15 FSB officers to Thailand for consultations and assistance, and conversations about the “Russian mafia in Thailand” would have immediately ended - there would have been no one to talk about. I don’t believe in the suicide version - people don’t hang themselves while sitting, especially if the support to which the rope is attached is located behind your back - this is almost impossible.
