From South China Morning Post Heeseon Xu and Jesson Liu have a dream – that one day they will own property in Thailand. The southeast Asian nation has made its name globally among investors and those seeking a second home thanks to its spicy food, ancient temples and tropical islands, but what attracts Xu and Liu is something else. Acceptance. The couple from Chongqing ( 重慶 ), southwest China, are gay. Isolated in their hometown, they have become frequent visitors to the Land of Smiles, where they can show their attachment in public, hang out with friends and enjoy a beer at gay-friendly bars. “We are saving money to buy a flat,” said Liu, a 42-year-old English t…

There are always a few people asking about joiner policies. I thought a thread where people could add details for hotels they have visited might be helpful. Hotel - Tarntawan Place City - Bangkok Visitors Allowed - Yes Joiner Fee - No Security - ID held at disk and room rung to confirm all ok before returned to boy. Extras - Breakfast for boy included Hotel - Baan Suoy Resort City - Pattaya Visitors Allowed - Yes Joiner Fee - No Security - ID held at disk and room rung to confirm all ok before returned to boy. This should be a light hearted thread and I am open to any questions anybody might have no matter how weird or outrageous. It is Thai related in the sense I was still working the scene a bit when I first came to Thailand. The only things I will not answer are questions that are too personal in regards of retaining some of my anonymity. I have worked all over the USA, Europe, Tokyo, and a little bit in Thailand back in the day. Part of what this thread is about is that random questions sometimes help me to share some stories that may be amusing to others. I have been working on a book for awhile and trying to get some thoughts out there so if I share something here it …

Tispa and internet gateway providers (IIG), sent an email to the managing director of Facebook Thailand on Friday with the request. "If the relevant Thai authorities find any illegal content from www.facebook.com in our system - particularly the 131 URLs which have not yet been removed - concerned authorities will request that we shut down the CDN of www.facebook.com and other parts of the network to block such illegal content. "This action may affect the entire delivery services of www.facebook.com to customers in Thailand," Tispa said in the email. According to Tispa, Thai authorities have demanded Facebook remove 131 separate Facebook posts which they deemed illegal…

Hi all, I try to visit once a year, so back in Bangkok in July and August between some travel to other places - suggestions welcome! I'm thinking of two or three of: Phuket or Koh Samui, KL & Singapore, Taiwan or Hong Kong, Vietnam, Laos... please advise! Last time I discovered Yunomori Onsen off Sukhumvit, an easy walk from Nana or Asok hotel, where I tend to stay. Also like to go to Babylon a couple of times, R3 maybe once on a Saturday... open to other experiences like massage, use Grindr, Jackd, Blued but Grind seems the best in BKK for genuine guys to meet up. Recommend the boat from Saphan Taksin to Phra Aphrit for Khao San Road area - a fun af…

Orion Bar This venue recently changed location - it now actually fronts Chareonprathet Lane 6 - about 200 metres in from the Night Market Street (Changklan Rd) - right hand side. This is the same street for Ram Bar and Secrets Bar. The new location is a bit more spacious ( there are now no metal poles to restrict your pool shots) - some nice new tables and stools. It opens right out onto the street so you get to view all the passing traffic. Every now and then the host puts on free food. Always found the bar to be friendly - the host is always welcoming and there are usually at least 6+ bar boys there - mostly Tai Yai. Language can be a challenge at times b…

My preferred is 20-25, can be up to 35, lean and athletic but not starved, not a gym buildt muscle god, and a top. Which would be the best massage place for me. Old hero and prince tend to be more muscular as well as older. And what is the usual tip for one hour, both minimum and more generous, in the basic room, more for superstars? Thank you

From Khaosod English BANGKOK — Sun, sand, sea and sex are what some might expect when traveling to the Land of Smiles. Behind the infamous prostitution industry are hidden the lives and dreams of workers, all of which a director reflected through documentary theater. It’s been five month since a New York based theater director Jesca Prudencio has been in Thailand after she earned Julie Taymor’s World Theater Fellowship to explore theater scenes abroad for a year. Prudencio chose Thailand as her first destination, not only because she’s a good friend of members of the outstanding physical theater B-Floor, but also because of her interest in the objectification …

Hey guys....So this will be my first trip to Thailand coming up next week on the 20th. I'll only be in town for 6 days and then back to the states. I'm going to be staying at the Agate in Jomtien and I'm wanting to know if any of you guys can give me some tips on where to find the cutest boys. I am definitely more attracted to 18-20's, young, smooth, thin, smaller framed boys then I am muscular guys.... I've found a few on GayRomeo, one particular that wants to spend time with me, and is open to a 3 way (which has always been a fantasy of mine ...) which sounds like fun! So PLEASE...advise and share some experiences if you could. I'd also like some suggestions fo…

  19. Visiting Prime massage in Bangkok is always a highlight of my trip to Thailand. I haven’t managed to find anything equivalent in Pattaya. Certainly, I’ve found great, non sexual massage places there. But nothing like Prime which I think is fairly luxurious, has very private rooms, with shower and all male masseurs that give excellent massages. Am I missing out on some interesting places in Pattaya?

If you promised a Thai bar boy that when you visit Bangkok next time, you will take him to Bali/HK/Tokyo etc or invite him back to US/UK/Germany and changed your mind after the infatuation with the boy faded, please pick up the phone and tell him so. Please don't just ignore his repeated Line messages thinking " Oh he's just a bar boy. He is used to disappointments." Because I know something inside of the boy dies a little. Yes, I am a sentimental fool.

About four years ago, in early 2013, a friend passed along a link to the Peter Fever website. It was season 4 of The Asiancy, and knowing my tastes, my friend thought I might enjoy it. At first glance, my opinion was decidedly negative. Peter Fever often features muscular beefy guys who are not my type at all. But just before dismissing it, a picture caught my eye. It was a group photo of the cast in which a young twink type immediately leapt out from the screen: "Robin!" I blurted out. I had first met Robin about a year earlier in a gay bar near San Francisco where he was a coyote dancer... Unfortunately, Robin was only 17 …

  25. For my upcoming visit, I decided to go from the airport (BKK) to Pattaya. In the past I've gone to Bangkok first then ventured now and then to Pattaya. My flight will arrive around midnight on Saturday, I've booked at the Poseidon...what are some suggestions on companies / taxi services to get me to my destination will as little fuss as possible...as I will be incredibly jet lagged (22 hours on planes or in airports not to mention Thai immigration). Thanks
