    Trip Report July 2023

I'm on my way home after a few amazing days in Bangkok. Before my trip I read this forum from top to bottom and took copious notes on the Bangkok massage scene, places to go, etc. I took a lot of notes to help me remember for my next visit. I wish I could share therapist names here because they are not all created equal and I ran into some total duds as well as some amazing ones. Here's my take on the massage places: 1. S'sense massage - by far my worst experience and the only massage I walked out on in the middle. When I arrived, they did the "bait and switch" and said my therapist was not available but tried to offer me another one who was not my type. I asked for someone else and they gave me one who was cute but a total dud. I laid there bored while the therapist gave me a massage that seemed to focus on the calves and feet FOREVER. Zero fun stuff. I remembered reading on this forum that if you're in that situation, just get up and walk out, and I did just that. I hopped into a Grab (that app is awesome! The way Uber was when it first launched... clean cars great drivers cheap cheap cheap) and went to PARADISE... 2. Paradise is on the street with all the gay massage places in Silom 6. Basically by my third day therapists recognized me and told me they saw me walking the street HAHAHAHAHA. Small town. It's clean, friendly, and I had one of my best therapists there... good lord he was huge and ready for action. Not the cutest but again this forum indicated that the cuter they are the less they do and that's usually right based on my experience this week. Did I mention huge? Anyway excellent masssage and double x 2 happiness. 3. Relax Massage - my husband went here, right across from Paradise (he also checked out Mr. Big at Paradise) and had a good massage with a cute guy. They are running a "rainy season special" and are half the price of Paradise. Great value. 4. JeySPA.... you knew this one was coming! This consistently ranks high on this forum so my final day there I splurged (it's definitely spendy with a tip of 1500 baht) ... I was very clear what I was looking for (big everything with six pack abs) and OH MY GOD did they deliver. They sent photos that let me know exactly what I was in for. That was one of my best massages in Bangkok (best massage of the trip was in Samui, but that's a different post...) Very clean and yes as others have said, horrible traffic in that area so I took a Grab but wished I had taken the train. Easy to find with Google maps. You can negotiate on the room price. 5. Prime - 90 min head/feet and then 90 min Thai by the same guy who was touchy but Prime doesn't seem to go beyond massage and that's fine... it was just amazing. Great massage with great technique, clean, and they give you pajamas (I didn't wear the top) and you just feel like you're being pampered. 6. Green Massage - I wish I had time to go here... looked good and would love to read someone else's feedback 7. 9-Teen - on same road with 2 & 3 above, they did the bait and switch again when I arrived... I rejected their substitution and they found someone suitable, but he started negotiating tip in middle of massage before he would even remove his shirt. That was a HUGE turnoff and I felt like I was in a used car lot all of a sudden. All the other therapists at other places were much more subtle or trusted you to tip the min 1000 baht. My husband ran into the same thing. We did not return here and cancelled subsequent appointments we had made. 8. Natural Spa - super friendly guys and one of my cuter therapists (straight, small assets) worked there then kept in touch on Line but I didn't return due to aforementioned small assets. Room smelled musty and towels weren't fresh smelling. But they do seem to have cuter guys than the others.... I wouldn't rule them out next time but wish their rooms were cleaner. This also seems to be the feedback on Google reviews. 9. Magic Touch Massage with Mr. Tree... this was our first massage in Bangkok and was very mediocre. Shower didn't work and therapist wasn't very skilled in anything. Would not recommend. Things I learned: 1. This is all really close to the Skytrain. When we first arrived we had some trouble with Google maps and it seemed like we walked all over. Silom 6 is maybe 8 mins from the station and there's lots to see on the way. 2. Great lunch spot in the heart of it all is Mango Tree Surawong. If you're a massage whore like we are, book 11 am massages, then lunch at Mango, then walk 2 mins to Prime for a real massage, happy finish at Paradise or Relax/Natural Spa. 3. This I haven't figured out but I developed some theories on this. Most guys who weren't that into it I asked if they were straight and yes they were. As a top that provides limited options for me which is why I was going for SIZE and appearance. One guy showed me photos of his girlfriend. They are all really sweet but I wish there were a way to color code the t-shirts... red is top, blue is bottom, purple is both.... I assume the blue shirts would be the gay guys but I may be making an incorrect assumption there. I think next time I'll try to ask for some bottoms even though I don't want to do anything more than play... see #4 below... 4. These guys have got to be riddled with all sorts of diseases. NO way would I consider anything unsafe, but I was able to have a lot of fun nonetheless. It does seem like most of the clients go there to just get PLOWED because everytime I got on a massage table they went straight for my butt and I had to make the universal sign for no intercourse but just playing. I do not hold any judgment against anyone who wants to take more risks, I am just saying that once I got there and saw the guys and the environment and the steady stream of customers I knew that my shields were going to be up and I would still have fun. AND I DID. (See JeySpa again). 5. I did not go to 15M based on feedback on this forum. 6. The drag (?) cabaret at Asiatique was AMAZING!! Calypso!! We were grinning ear to ear the entire show... if you buy tickets, buy them from their site (not Klook or resellers) and put in comments you are gay and excited to see show. We did that and they gave us the best seats in the house. (Seats are assigned by them earlier in the day, then they print tickets when you arrive)... huge highlight of our visit. It would be fun to see with a group - the audience was all reserved asians for the most parts and there were points where we were the only ones clapping and cheering them on. Those boys were working hard and dancing their asses off. 7. I walked through Silom 4 and loved the drag show there, but felt sort of self conscious as I was dressed for dinner at Vertigo and it was really strange walking the catwalk (street) with all the chairs and tables facing you... I needed someone to show me the ropes. My masseur from Natural Massage offered to come with me but he didn't speak English and I wanted some alone time. 8. Really regret not having time to try The Green Massage. I hope this helps someone else who may fit our profile (newbie, more conservative, clueless and naive at times, see newbie part). Thanks to all who have posted here offering advice and help… I found it immensely useful as I planned our trip!!

  2. Day 2 Jey spa So i added jey spa on my line account few months ago, and have been receiving regular pictures of their masseurs, which is a nice daily eye candy message. Decided to give it a try as ive not been before. Seems like all free lance. When i tried to set up appointment, the manager of the line account will check with their boy first and revert. But very efficient. Able to get more details and shirtless pictures of the masseurs u r interested in on the line account. Seems like future of massage places moving towards online based. Pick masseur online and make appointments. While efficient, sometimes i do like the thrill of not know what to expect, and sit upclose to the line up of guys to choose - just like arena prince senso About 20min car ride from silom but well worth it. Vip Room is 950 for 1h, 1250 for 1.5h. But Vip room is more of a normal room at most places with a shower ensuite which is what i would expect. Apparently there are “normal rooms” without ensuite shower.. um awkward. I chose this cute handsome jock JJ. Massage was good, had good oral and nipple play >.< Tip requested 1500, i gave 2000. Overall definitely will be one of my go to places, mainly because of their selection of guys. Alot are my type - the jockish sporty guys yumm. Also because its freelance, they have alottt of guys to choose from. The lobby area abit near the rooms, sometimes while waiting, can see the masseurs going into the rooms ha. Rentmen Spent the afternoon having sex with another handsome muscular abs hottie from rentmen back in my hotel room haha.. Quoted 3500 baht. Although he was a little shorter than expected from the pics, but he had perfect 6 packs that i was too busy groping and licking to bother about his height 😅 Jupiter Went jupiter, show started at 10:45pm, entrance + drink at 500. The guys here are totally my type too. Think straight sports captain, jock, muscular, handsome, abs, chest, clean cut and fresh. He wont look or smile at you in school because hes straight. But for the right price by doing his homework for the month, he will let you suck him and even pound you. (But all that ive offed before were really nice haha. But on stage they maintain a “cool” vibe) Shows were good - mainly because most of it were the hot guys dancing and stripping. Was quite a full house on a saturday. Was eyeing one model but was too hesitant and he got offed by someone else 😭 Wasnt very aggressive in finding a guy anyway because wanted to check out the clubs. But wouldnt have been too hard cuz like i would have easily offed >50% of them. DJ/GOD Went to dj station and subsequently GOD when dj closed at 2. 400 entry each with 2 drinks each. DJ station was an absolute blast. Love all the songs, and was a very good crowd, eye candies everywhere. There was a club beside dj playing kpop and can see all the young twinky boys dancing in chereograph to the kpop songs. Went on to GOD and ooh.. Different vibe. Really hardcore. Shirtless guys everywhere. Making out and groping everywhere. Music was hardcore bam bam bam. Joined in shirtless after awhile eventually (shy, but the place was hot any being shirtless felt much more comfortable) and went into the sea of guys. Ended up making out, groping and being groped by dunno how many guys lmao. Had a hardon because kept getting grinded on, which attracted even more groped and grinding 🤦‍♂️ Ended my day with supper at foodlands patpong - one of my favourite place to eat. Its 24/7, near the hotels and clubs, food is cheap and good! Sometimes can see people with their offs. Highly highly recommend.

  3. I was talking about "boy bars", as you can see in my post. I was also, although didn't mention, talking about Pattaya. I also didn't mention gogo bars, because they are a different beast. "male" gogo bars are often full of screeching females. I'd rather stay home than go near that shit. As for soi 4, gay bars and Silom, yes it's full of younger Asian tourists. Most of them wouldn't step foot in a boy bar. They frequent Silom's gay bars and clubs. When you see an old white guy in DJ Station these days, he stands out like a sour thumb. How times have changed!

  4. Think of Nature Boys as Good Boys on steroids. Anything goes and if you are a bit shy, you can go behind the curtain at the back of the bar. If you cum in the bar -I don't recall ever doing that - you are charged the off fee. Chances are that guy back in October also has lots of guys on call - they are his friends, some of whom used to work in NB. They are always willing to turn up to the bar to meet you. I have a regular guy Bangkok so I even though I made it clear I wouldn't be offing anyone, they still came to the bar and we had a few drinks. I said I might be up for sex during the day and if so, I'd get in contact with them. Some may recall that I wrote about a medical problem I had at the start of my trip. Unfortunately, one of the side effects of the medication was a diminished libido. Even though 2 guys who I have offed numerous times over the years from NB came to the bar and I was dying to get into bed with them - both are hung like donkeys and one always insisted that I cum in his mouth (I love that!) I just didn't feel up to it, so to speak, during the day. In the past, a guy in the bar also recommended his Lao friend. "He have very big cock and like to fuck." So he called him and he certainly didn't disappoint. He was slim, handsome and OMG! What a cock! He was on offer in April too, but I had to decline. But now that I've become used to the medicine I think I'm ready to up my game! I feel a trip coming up.

  8. " ... supposed to ... " doesn't necessarily track reality. " ... enormous returns from the stock market ... " My retirement account has not seen any such returns. In fact, though the US stock market is improving ... my current balance ... without any withdrawals ... is almost exactly the same as it was 2 years ago. " ... housing ... " If someone rents it's more likely than not that they're paying higher monthly charges. In some instances substantially higher. If someone owns property, values have risen substantially in some areas of the country ... not all; paper gains until a property is sold ... not spendable now. " ... bitcoin ..." in the past 2 years the value of bitcoin has dropped by more than 100%. From $64,000 to today's price of +/- $30,000. I don't know anyone who buys it. ===== For me, originating travel fron Tampa, Florida USA: > A flight to BKK has a duration of 36 hours (including layover/connection) with a lowest fare cost of US$1,500. > A flight to GIG (Rio) has a duration of 10 hours with a lowest fare cost of US$665 (for the same travel days for a stay of 2 weeks). So, trip travel costs and travel times and logistics, coupled with sexual experience expectations at a particular destination are factors influencing the decision maker. Unless a gay retiree from the US has a strong interest in Thai culture and/or a strong preference for sex with Thai's or SE Asians and considers offing moneyboys or casual sexual relations with other guys in Thailand the optimum return on investment ... there are other travel / enjoyment opportunities.

  9. I go along with that. And we need younger posters, just as gay Thailand needs younger gay visitors. Look at it this way; any new poster may be trolling. Maybe. However, some may just be not well-versed in the conventions and appear naïve. So what? If there is one chance in twenty that the newbie is genuine, give the poor b***** a break and see what happens. Who gets hurt by being generous?

  10. There is. The audience in the Bangkok bars back in April consisted of lots of young Asians - male and female - and very few farang. As a stale, pale male I felt decidedly out of place. I think it's true that the young ones don't off guys like we do -it seems to be the young women who off the guys -but they do spend up big on drinks and tips in the bar. If you want fun in a bar without the women, head to Soi Tawan. While there aren't many guys in Nature Boy, if you ask Jay, the mama-san, he'll call in as many guys as you want. Super A can be hit and miss, but you never know your luck. Does anyone know if the bar opposite Nature Boy is open yet?

    Side Trips

I agree that 2 or 3 days is good for a Khao Yai break. I have the impression that it's a popular weekend trip for Bangkokians. I did it with a tour guide friend of mine who organized a private car and driver, etc. For 2 or 3 days I think Hua Hin is fine. But I can see where a week would get pretty boring unless you're there with some friends. I liked the night market which has many good food stalls and the one next door has lots of art and crafts for sale. I stayed at the D2 which was not ideal for visiting the beach. I think picking one of the places nearer the beach would be a better choice for sure. There are a few beach resorts that looked very cushy when we walked past on an evening beach stroll. I'd have to look at a map to remember names. If you haven't been out to Isaan there are some pretty interesting places out in that direction. I'm always fascinated by old temples, etc so I like Phimai quite a bit as well as Phnom Rung. I did that part of the country as a little 3 day trip where we based on Khorat and did day trips out from there. Lots if big national parks in the north if you're interested in that. Or even Chiang Rai. You might want to have a look at Paddy Doyle's YT channel for ideas of places to visit. He went to every province. https://www.youtube.com/@PaddyDoyle./playlists

  12. I visited Villa Giani last week. I was in London for a few days and decided to call in the evening before I was to fly home. I had planned my schedule to visit that evening, but in the event I was actually feeling quite unwell that afternoon (as it turned out within 24 hours I was hit by a very bad dose of cold and sore throat which lasted three or four days). Even though I was feeling out of sorts, as I was close-by, I thought I would call in and look at the lineup anyway. That way at least I could report back a bit more info for this thread. I rang the doorbell and a very pleasant, Hispanic looking guy, answered. I forgot to ask his name. It was a warm afternoon outside, and it was really warm, almost oppressively so, in the basement apartment. The receptionist confirmed that the fee was £160 for one hour. Then I was brought to the mirror window. When the guys realised there was a customer at the other side of the window, they came up to it and pulled up their T-shirts to show off their chests. Four guys were available. Three Hispanic looking guys, and a pale, European-looking guy. The pale guy and two of the other guys were twinks, the other guy was more muscular. I had a gut feeling that the European looking guy might be Irish (I’m Irish myself, and we can tell our own, lol). When I asked receptionist where he was from, he confirmed that my gut feeling was correct. They were all reasonably good-looking in appearance, although perhaps not as quite as glamorous looking as one might expect for £160. I note from reading this thread that the price they charge has gone from £100 just before Covid, to £130 a bit later, and now £160. Well, good luck to them if they can get the money. I was there at 6:20, and receptionist told me that if I wanted to take a guy, there would not be a free room available on the premises until 7 pm. I ask him to explain a bit more about their opening times, as the website says they are open from 1 pm until 7 pm. He explained that they are open later, but that there were only guys available to view until 7 pm. I decided not to take a guy that day, mainly because I wasn’t feeling all that well. I felt a little bit guilty about just being a "looky-loo" but the receptionist was very pleasant about it, and said it was no problem. Generally the whole atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. I don’t think anybody should feel nervous are going for a look, if they’re interested. It is literally a five minute walk from Earls Court tube station.

  14. From CNBC Supplements that claim to improve appearance have grown in popularity in the past decade. From 2011 to 2020, the percentage of Americans who reported taking a hair, skin and nail vitamin in the past month rose from 2.5% to 4.9%. But experts warn about side effects and dangers. Skin, hair and nail supplements often contain much more biotin than the human body needs, for example, a research paper published in the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology has found. High doses of biotin “can alter test results that healthcare providers may order, like thyroid testing, cardiac testing [and] potentially even vitamin D testing,” Dr. Rebecca Hartman, an assistant professor of dermatology at Harvard Medical School and one of the authors of the paper, tells CNBC Make It. The daily recommended dose of biotin for adults is 0.03 milligrams. In some cases, supplements had 650 times that amount, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. High levels of biotin to that degree can potentially lead to false diagnoses of hyperthyroidism and affect doctors’ abilities to detect heart attacks in patients, Hartman told TODAY in June. Dr. Adam Friedman, chair of dermatology at the George Washington University, says these side effects can sometimes be deadly. “Someone died because a heart attack was missed [during testing],” Friedman explains, saying that the patient’s troponin levels weren’t showing any sign for concern. “They weren’t elevated in this one individual who was taking a biotin supplement for hair growth.” Biotin, or vitamin B7, is commonly found in most foods and multivitamins, so people rarely need supplements, anyway, says Friedman. “If you were biotin deficient, you wouldn’t be going to Walgreens to buy a bottle of biotin,” he says. “You’d probably be in the hospital.” Claims that suggest biotin is good for hair, skin and nail health are mostly anecdotal, Hartman says, adding, “Most Americans are getting the small amount needed already through their daily diet.” While preliminary data shows that collagen may make your skin healthier, Hartman says more research is required to solidify that claim. Regardless, a well-rounded diet is the most natural and safest way to get “beauty” nutrients like biotin and collagen, the researchers agree. Foods that are rich in biotin include: Egg yolk Beans Nuts Seeds These foods help promote collagen production: Meats Bone broth Gelatin Dairy Beans Soy Fruits, leafy greens, and root vegetables for vitamin C, zinc, and copper, which help produce collagen Before taking any supplement, it’s important to ask yourself these questions: Does it actually have the active ingredients it claims to have? What evidence supports using this particular amount of this particular product? Is this a trusted company to buy this specific product from? Has it been third-party tested, and does it contain any contaminants? Have I checked in with my doctor before taking it? Thaksin to return Aug. 10?

From Thai PBS World Rumour mills fired up shortly after Paetongtarn Shinawatra announced that her father Thaksin will end his self-imposed exile and return to Thailand on August 10. Today (Wednesday) is Thaksin’s 74th birthday and he is said to be in Hong Kong, where he will host a birthday party. It is believed that some senior politicians will travel to Hong Kong to join the celebration for Thaksin. It is for sure that, when they meet with Thaksin in Hong Kong, high on the agenda will be how to break the ongoing political impasse, which is seeing the Pheu Thai party, so far, failing to convince parties outside the eight-party alliance to join the coalition. Pheu Thai has tried hard to build a bloc of at least 375 House votes for its prime ministerial candidate, so that it would not have to rely on the senators’ support. The party does not want to repeat Move Forward’s failure to gain enough senators’ votes, which sank Pita Limjaroenrat’s dream of becoming the next prime minister. Some political observers claim that Move Forward may back down from its campaigns to amend the lèse majesté law. All the parties outside the coalition have refused to get involved, because of this policy. Now that Pheu Thai leads the negotiations in forming the government and Thaksin is known to be the boss behind all Pheu Thai moves, Move Forward has to talk to the right man if it wants to be in the government, said a political observer. Move Forward’s core members, like Thanathorn Juangroongruangkit and secretary general Chaithawat Tulathon, have separately denied that they either travelled to Hong Kong to meet Thaksin or were informed about the trip.

  16. We went to Koh Samui in July 2023 and had a great time. The frequent rain storms meant we needed to pivot from snorkeling to getting massages and wow did we have a great time. There are very few options on the small island of Samui, but the good news is that I actually had my BEST massage experience ever. Emerald Green Men's Club - owned by a lovely couple from New Zealand, I wasn't sure we would go there as the prices are more than we have seen elsewhere. After a disastrous session at Gay Massage (nice name) also named Kay Massage in Samui, we decided to splurge and go to Emerald Green. WOW. I would return to Samui just to go to this amazing establishment. You walk into a beautiful reception room that smells amazing, is spotless (not even a chip in the paint, not a spider in the corner of the ceiling, nothing) and Bruce sits you down and reviews the menu and chats with you in his engaging way. He reviews your choices and then reviews the "rules." Here I must be discrete so don't let them throw you too much. Then he leads you to a shower (pay at end of session, opposite of Bangkok) with curtain and big fluffy towel that compared to our 5-star resort's towels. That good. You stow your clothes in a locking locker, put on a sarong and go upstairs carrying your key and led by your therapist. Therapists are assigned and cannot be requested at least when you are new there. The massage private rooms are beautiful, clean, smell wonderful, perfect temperature and lighting. Here again I must be discrete, but let me say that my two massages here by two different therapists were the best I have ever had. Period. Their model is different than the Bangkok model. The masseuses here are actually employees with health benefits etc and are on salary. Minimum tip is 300 baht but it's only a suggestion. I tipped 1000. Worth every penny. So the advantage of employees vs independent agents (the Bangkok model) is that there is formal training for massage and they are highly skilled. You will be in bliss city. This, along with a dinner at Saffron, was a highlight of our visit. If you are in Samui, GO to Emerald Green Men's Club. Tell Bruce the boys from San Francisco say hello!! PS I should note that my husband did have a therapist he enjoyed at Kay Gay Massage. I was repulsed by the filth and the shower and my massage was mediocre there. But it's cheap and definitely follows more of the Bangkok model.

  17. From Bangkok Post Parliament President Wan Muhamad Noor Matha has indefinitely postponed Thursday's planned joint sitting to vote for a new prime minister, pending a Constitutional Court ruling on the rejected renomination of Move Forward Party leader Pita Limjaroenrat. Mr Wan said on Tuesday that he made the decision after consulting with legal officials of the House of Representatives and his advisers. They were of the view that if the prime ministerial vote went ahead on Thursday, it could potentially lead to problems when the Constitutional Court makes its ruling afterwards, the House speaker and ex-officio parliament president said. With Thursday's meeting posponted, Wednesday's planned meeting of whips from the coalition allies, other political parties and senators was now unnecessary, he said. Another reason for delaying the joint sitting was that many elected MPs and senators were worried they would not be able to attend ceremonies to celebrate His Majesty the King's birthday in their respective provinces on Friday if the sitting was prolonged, Mr Wan said. The joint sitting for a prime ministerial vote could be put back on the parliamentary agenda after the court's ruling. The parliament president earlier set Thursday for elected representatives and appointed senators to vote again for a new prime minister, possibly from Pheu Thai, the second largest party in the same alliance led by Mr Pita's MFP. MFP has agreed to let Pheu Thai take the lead in nominating a prime minister and forming the government. It also faces a challenge because many parties outside the coalition bloc disapprove of MFP’s political platform and plan to revise Section 112 of the Criminal Code, the lese majeste law. The eight parties in the coalition were scheduled to meet on Tuesday afternoon to hear a progress report from Pheu Thai. But the meeting was cancelled at the last minute, with Pheu Thai conceding it had little progress to report so far. Meanwhile, MFP insists it will continue its efforts to have Mr Pita installed as prime minister.

I played safe or safer as it's called these days, and had a great time. I figure these guys are with dozens of men from all over the world each week.... a great way to get a STD. But others are willing to take the risk or have fun and get the STD treated. Your decision. For me it was not worth the risk and now I'm back home from vacation and not sitting here worrying about my health.

  20. I thought he already did a deal with Anutin in Dubai recently. But I guess not. I have to say that this whole 112 dust up seems like an excuse to me. Even if they were all in the coalition none of these people would be required to vote for any 112 amendments. And if PT has the PM spot such a thing would never come up for a vote in the first place.

  21. He did indeed make a mistake. A stupid one because Malaysia has previously banned openly gay musicians. In 2013 Elton John's concert outside KL was abandoned just before it was due to start because of Muslim clerics' stance against Elton promoting "immoral values". That the lead singer of 1975 was not aware of this is perhaps understandable. But the promoter in Kuala Lumpur must certainly have been aware of it. He would also have known of 1975's promotion of an LGBT lifestyle. Elton's cancellation was suprising because he had given a successful concert in KL the previous year without incident. A mark, perhaps, of the growing influence of bigotted Muslim clerics. But Healy and his band have since seen a major backlash against them on local social media. Many local gays have complained that the main result of their appearance and banning is to make life more difficult for the local LGBT community. "In Malaysia, there are no LGBTQ+ rights, with a penalty of up to 20 years in prison for sodomy; Global Trans Rights Index ranks Malaysia as the second worst country in the world for transgender rights. And a privileged white man – the lead singer of British band the 1975 – has inadvertently made this situation worse . . . "Healy’s terrible misjudgment was to steam into this highly complex and historically fraught situation without due care, or seemingly enough research . . . one queer Malaysian producer and DJ has argued to me in recent days that “careless displays of ‘activism’, in the form of a conceited performance, damage the work of grassroots activists”. Another queer Malaysian has told me that Healy’s behaviour will make rightwing politicians “more paranoid”, and give them more ammo to further anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-music narratives. The fear is that queer artists will find it harder to secure spaces for their events. "Healy is protected by his status – he can return to the UK, where will face nothing more than a travel ban or slap on the wrist. He flies into a country [Malaysia], makes a clumsy provocation, leaves damage in his wake – then posts memes poking fun at the cancellation and at Malaysia from behind the safety of his phone screen." https://www.theguardian.com/music/2023/jul/26/the-1975s-matty-healy-has-hurt-malaysias-queer-community-not-uplifted-it

What a succint review of all the massage places! in the past when i went prince, the mamasan asked all the tops to take a step forward, then later on the bottoms haha.. but in general can just ask the shop manager before hand who is top , who can bottom. Can even ask who is gay or straight.

  24. You’re absolutely right. That’s why in a previous post I claimed Super A as my favorite bar. The mamasan had a nice list of guys on call with her phone. Had a great time, I should have met Jay at nature boys to see what was on offer. Can he call and have fun in the bar, similar to Good boys, or do you need to use a room? There was never more than one guy there back in October.

Yes that is likely very sensible... I tend to like the suspense of it all... trying to figure out where it will go... what just brushed up against me... wait, is that a dog barking... my ultimate fantasy would be to convert a serious massage at Prime into a happy massage over 90-120 minutes but I don't think that will ever happen. I love the unexpected and it feeling a little less transactional.

Wonderful review! Glad you both seemed to enjoy the trip. I’ll have to try a few of those places my next trip. I myself don’t mind if we agree on tip before hand, as it can relieve them of the worry of a small tip and no one is surprised at the end.

  30. From Thai PBS World Third-culture kids are a distinct group of people who spend a major portion of their upbringing outside of their parent’s native culture. Third culture kids usually accompany their parents’ on postings abroad, relocating for a length of time to one or more countries. This lifestyle comes with its own set of challenges and rewards. Home is “everywhere and nowhere” is the experience and feeling of many third culture kids on the journey between worlds and discovering their identity. These are the kids who don’t have a straightforward answer when asked where they are from. Often, when asked to specify their ethnicity, on university applications, for example, they identify themselves as global or international citizens. We spoke with Kyle Dante, a Filipino who was born and raised in Thailand. Now, he works as a marketing manager for a hotel and a few food and beverage outlets. His parents moved to Thailand to study master’s degrees at the Asian Institute of Technology and they’ve been here ever since. That’s why he has not had a chance to live in the Philippines. “It’s a real struggle, in terms of trying to sort out your identity. I think never really consider any place as home. I lived in Thailand, but I was not Thai. I couldn’t speak the language. I always felt and still am treated like an ex-pat, like a foreigner. Even when I go to the Philippines, which is considered my home, my motherland, I don’t speak the language. I’ve never lived there. I am not very integrated into Filipino culture, so I never really felt Filipino either”, he said. Third culture children are a growing group of people. While it’s hard to pinpoint exactly how many there are, according to Interaction International, it’s estimated that there are 230 million people who could call themselves third culture kids. If they were to claim a place on the globe as their own and gather all together, they would become the fifth most populous nation in the world. It is understandable that, while living overseas, families tend to find comfort and build relationships with other ex-pats, as they undergo similar experiences. He also said he has more freedom to explore, which also brings opportunities for him to go to other places, explore other countries and be more ambitious and adventurous. It really opened his eyes and opened up a range of opportunities. Third culture kids have a lot to offer in terms of their perspectives, experiences and skills. As they move through different countries and cultures, they develop unique qualities, which set them apart from others. These include adaptability, empathy, resilience and flexibility. They can use these qualities to their advantage as they pursue higher education, careers and personal goals. The journey of a third culture child is not always easy, but it is undoubtedly rewarding. As they continue to explore the world, they leave gather a wealth of experience and memories that shape them. By Thi Dieu Linh Nguyen, Thai PBS World

    Taipei Info/Tips?

I don't know any of the 3 star hotels that have what I would call a good breakfast. These hotels mostly cater for Taiwanese and so best to look at a good western chain hotel. But I know none near Ximending. @a447 recommends the Westgate. Just looking at the photos of the dining area, it seems quite small and I suspect - and I hope @a447 will correct me if I am wrong - that the breakfast will not be similar to a tradional western breakfast, even though it has an egg station. Wth comfort and a hearty breakfast as essentials, I would certainly give up the idea of staying in Ximending and recommend the Courtyard Downtown Hotel. You will absolutely adore the breakfast!!

    Side Trips

Sorry to add that I find Hua Hin incredibly boring!! I stayed for a week at the Hilton hotel which I really disliked - and I like most hotels I visit. Sadly the Hilton had been recommended by a good friend and I had prepaid for the week but I'll never return. Even the beach by the hotel is tiny! Is there anything really to see in Hua Hin apart from the railway station and the Centara Grand Hotel which used to be the old railway hotel? When are you in Thailand? If in late December, Hua Hin can be quite chilly if the winter monsoon is blowing. If you are here in early August, I would definitely get to Ubon Ratchathanee for the Candle Festival Parade on August 3. It's a stunning unique event with all the temples having artisans spend a month carving wax scenes on top of lorries and trucks. Unfortunately you have missed the amazing Dansai Ghost Festival which was in June this year. I had a fabulous time there a few years ago. Sorry again I have little positive to add.

  33. I saw 2 young asian women maybe 20-30s and they were pretty, drank alot and offed 3 guys in the end! i think as a first visit, the price of 500baht drink is nothing compared to what is being offered - we dont have such places in most asian countries. Even the 500baht off fee. So i think there is still a market for young crowds wanting to have a wild night out.

    4hand & Couples Massage

I love 4 hand massages, I have never asked the boys to play with each other as I want both to service my needs and have had no real disappointments yet (only one was classed as satisfactory but it still worked and served a purpose). As reader says above, after reading and taking advice of other members here I found the best way is to choose one boy at the massage shop and have him select the second boy, that way he (and #2) hopefully will be or should be comfortable working together.

  36. I’ve seen young Asian groups in Jupiter and moonlight. They can just go on in the runway and strut their stuff with the other boys. I’d take most of them too. Cute as hell 😂

  37. There is no younger crowd. The ones that do come can find their fun in normal venues. Without a fast revamp of the boy bar scene, it will die with the old timers.

  41. Thanks for the above suggestions! Day 1 so landed in Suvarnabhumi airport in the afternoon. Immigration was quite fast, probably about 10 minutes or so. Then took a cab to my time and trusted Le Meridien hotel. I love the hotel because its nice and no issues bringing your guest back to the room. Arena Massage I always go here first because its one of the nearest to my hotel. This time I took a grab there instead of walking, although its only less than a km. In the past i always walk there under the sun and the walk always gets me horned up and sweaty thinking of whats to come. This time I arrived freshly showered. Menu for 1h 1.5h and 2h. Masseur tip for 1.5h was 1200 requested - i think by far one of the lowest ive seen. Oil massage for 1.5h was 790, aromatherapy was 990. Silly me chose aromatherapy, not much difference to oil. Furthermore I chose peppermint oil flavour (idk why man) which awkwardly caused a bit of burn to my c0ck when applied. Will go for oil in future. Upon entering, over 10 shirtless zaddies staring at me. Gosh this always makes me gulp like im taking a viva exam. I saw a masseur i had before - Nuk. He is handsome, muscular, has a hot tattoo, hot abs and he is very nice, and does a good hard massage. i love how arena has a unique vibe. I would describe it as oily, sweaty, mechanic, gym vibe. This aint a romantic boyfriend restaurant. Your shirtless oiled up car mechanic is here to pound you and you say yes sir and pay him anyway. Pic of my room. Basic but serves its purpose. I had a lovely massage, was hard and sensual, really felt relaxed after, and I was feeling his hard oiled up body and groping all over yums. Just so hottt to see a hot guy being all oiled up and over you. 2000 in tips to boy. R3 Sauna Grabbed over to R3 sauna. I checked with their line account before hand whether there was any parties happening. O parties at R3 fri sat, sauna mania foam party on sunday. I love attending these parties because its a chaotic hot mess. About 10 hot models, some were fucking each other. And then the public joins in. There was this super hot model that i suscribed to onlyfans for awhile back, and he “acted” in several thai scenes. Went to grope and lick him heh. But he was so popular there was a whole queue of people lining up to fuck him. It was so hot to just see this super hot model taking it from anyone who wants to fuck him, including obviously less hot guys. Kind of a kink ha. There were people fucking and getting fucked by models, sucking, groping all over. Hot Chaotic mess. I was probably exhausted from the recent massage so mainly eye powered and groped around instead. Dreamboys Bar Grabbed back to silom and went to dreamboys. 500 for entrance + drink. I came abit late like 11pm. Shows ongoing till 1am. Was quite full house and lots of boys. Now there was a little bit of drama. I saw a guy that I offed before, and although we had lots of fun previously, he kept asking for money months after we met over the apps. So I didnt really respond back because I didnt really know what to respond. Then now in the bar with him around and waving to me i got nervous and didnt really want to off anyone else, although there wasn’t any that I was like super super interested in, there were few guys my type. LOL. Anyways, stayed to have a look around at people offing boys, 1 or 2 decent routines with hot shirtless guys. I left empty handed at 1am sadly. Jackd After showering and lying on my bed I thought to myself, did I really just left a bar empty handed on a friday night. So I opened the apps and not long after, found a hot muscular abs zaddy on Jackd. 2500 he quoted. Only took him about 20 minutes to comeover. Finally had my hot full on sex meal for the day. I told him I liked kissing and we ended up making out like forever, licking his hot body and abs and sucking each other. And I ended day 1 at 3am with a goodnights sleep.

    New in Bangkok. I

I'll go up to 1500 in BKK if they look good and not demanding, but people can do as they like with their money, if they feel the boy will like/love them more, it's their illusion....what the boys like/love is their wallet.

    Best GoGo Bar

There's no such thing like best bar. First, your criteria what constitutes 'best' may not necessarily correspond with somebody else's . The same goes with quality boys. What that really means ? Some may be looking for face , others for cuteness, other still for lack of tattoo, disk size, bushy or shaved pubes etc. Sex performance? again what's that? Great l top may be lousy or most likely , not existing, bottom. Drinks are pretty uniformly priced at 400-500 and off fees are 500 with exception of models at Moonlight where it's 1000. Even if you ask what is members favorite bar and why you may get whole list as different people are looking for different things.

  48. You should try it when you are there. I have used several agencies and never had a problem. Of course, some experience are better than others but it is just because of the chemistry between the boy and myself. Send them a email or LINE and ask for what you are looking for. I even talked to several on the phone when I was in Japan and I don't even speak Japanese, some will be able to communicate a bit in English and you will have to guess the meaning then follow up with email. Sometimes may just hang up on you or may not work out, but that is part of the fun to me.

    boys rrates 2023

There are plenty of handsome Pinoy guys available in Manila. But I do not recommend the bars or macho dancer places. They are not at all like the bars and go-gos in Thailand. And the massage places are even worst when compared to TH!! Instead go on Grinder or Romeo where you will find guys offering massage and fun for a price, money-guys. And guys just wanting to meet a Foreign man! Again for fun and perhaps looking for a long-term relationship. For the money-guys the fee is usually 1500-2000P (30-40 USD). For the guys just looking to meet up the rate is more like 1000P or even as low as 500P (20-10 USD). Or maybe just dinner and a bit of shopping at one of the many malls!! While Manila is a good place to begin visiting the Philippines, I strongly suggest traveling to one of the many beautiful islands to the South. Cebu, Palawan, Leyte, Bohol. The guys are also beautiful and great to spend a day or longer with enjoying their company. INGAT (Take care)
