In all other ways you've got the best of both worlds, and it is important that those who would traffick children are stopped. If your fiance in no way looks like he might be underage, then I would share with your indignation and insult, and make an appropriate complaint about how their policy has been misused to humilate you.

Wow. The 3-judge panel was made up of two Obama appointees and a Trump-hating Bush appointee. This will be appealed to the full circuit, and ultimately the Supreme Court. We're just about at halftime. There is a long way to go. NO president that has EVER been criminally prosecuted for something they did while in office. There have been presidents that have done FAR worse while in office; but 250 years of precedent has prohibited taking action against them after leaving office. So I suppose the Dems are a-okay with prosecuting Obama for killing an American citizen - Anwar Al Awlaki - with no due process? Or Biden for not following the law and protecting the Border? In the outside chance this ruling stands, it willo pen up the floodgates for the next GOP-appointed Attorney General (likely Judge Jeanine Pirro in the Trump administration) to prosecute Obama and Dementia Joe for their crimes. Any objective look at what is happening at the border, and Dementia Joe Biden can easily be charged with treason. And if this ruling holds up, the next GOP AG should go after HRC, Stacy Abrams and Al (inventor of the internet) Gore. They did exactly what Trump is accused of.

No, he does not look underage. He does use Botox, so he doesn't have wrinkles, but he definitely doesn't look under 18. He's 6' 4" (1.93 m) tall. In the 3 years we've been together, we've traveled extensively, probably in close to 100 hotels, and never previously been questioneed.

Just a note: I have my share of young people (college age) surrounding me when I work. Sometimes, we are in luxury hotels and airport hotels. Many of the male interns are straight (I don't always know for sure), and some are very handsome and young looking. Even my son is handsome and young looking, and we are often together, sharing the same room (he's straight, and most people don't think we are related). On occasion, I have noticed some people looking at me(us) with questioning eyes. My son has been carded, but nothing more. One time, in a hospital emergency room, a nurse asked me if my son was hurting me at home. I was a bit stunned by the question, and I responded, "Does that sweet, loving face look angry to you?," as I pointed his way. "Sorry, we have to ask." she answered. For some reason, Sound of Freedom is a controversial film, probably something to do with Christian funding. The movie is based on Tim Ballard's story, who was a U.S. government agent, working on child sex trafficking cases. His secret trip to Columbia is covered in the film. It's not an easy film to watch, but I recommend it. It's difficult for me to believe that such extreme evil exists in our world, but it does. We need to be aware.

Perhaps be pleased that they thought your fiance was underage, I wouldn't mind being thought to be a lot younger than my age! It happens sometimes! But I agree that checking is sensible.

Trafficking in minors is a hot issue right now, especially in Los Angeles. As far as I'm concerned, we should all be concerned about the issue, and do our part to crush the problem. I suggest you put your hurt pride on the table, and consider the greater good. Of course it's not fun to be profiled in any way, no matter what the situation is. Most of us have been there in one way or another. I find it best not to take these things too personally. There is NO WAY to control how other people see us. On few trips when logged in Boyztown I actually doubled up and rented cheapest room at Zing as well in case I get somebody from jomtien. Better go to the bed ight away than songtaew I figured

The last two holidays I have stayed at the Zing for a number of days. Good clean, basic hotel with a nice pool. Guest friendly and ideal for 'boy shopping'!

The refuse is collected in the late evening an early morning hours in Silom area. Rats have learned the schedule and race to get their share. Even rodents have a fantasy life. Lol

Rats are commonplace in cities worldwide whenever major construction projects are under way--a condition that certainly describes what's going on around Silom. As the critters are displaced by the demolition, they scurry about in search of food and new quarters. Returned recently from a two-month trip to Bangkok and and it was not uncommon to see rats moving about. Fortunately, there's also many natural predators (stray cats, dogs and yes--even snakes) around these sites that help police the population.

End of 2021 when tourist numbers where still low and I was walking along Surawong Road in the night in sandals, rats were running over my feet more than one time. I dont know who was more shocked, me or the rats.

The rats we saw in Surawong three weeks ago were congregated in piles of food refuse from street vendors' stalls. There may be issues with refuse collection.
