  1. I dont think anyone has made any personal attacks, merely an observation that trolling about cancer (IMHO at least) as seems to the general thread of most of olddaddys posts of late is just a bit off considering a lot of us may have had or are dealing with that, but hey if that's how he gets his jollies no ones stopping him I guess. PS Floridarob - I got that 🙂

    Anal cancer

I hate to say it, folks, but someone known to us only by screen name comes to a gay Thailand message board to seek medical advice from people he has never met and wouldn't know even they were sitting next to him? Sorry, but I'm not buying it anymore. You have a medical problem? Go to a doctor. Unless I miss my guess, none of us on this board are medical doctors. And if any of us were, we would know better than to dole out medical advice on a message board to some guy who has not even gone for a proper diagnosis to a medical doctor. Besides, all these diseases? I'm no longer buying any of that either. If you really do have these problems, what you need is a doctor, not us. And if you really don't have these problems or are grossly exaggerating them, then you're a board troll and people would need to stop responding to any of your posts in any way, shape, or form. That's the best way to get rid of trolls - when whatever psychological need being a troll provides is suddenly no longer available. Trolls post because they want responses. When they stop getting any responses they eventually go away.

    Are you sociable ?

Like many of the folks who have responded to this topic, I am also shy and an introvert. But I do connect with folks I know well and keep in touch and communicate with them often. At a go-go bar, I won't be sitting in a corner, but won't be sitting in a prime location either. I normally don't start up a conversation with strangers. However, one the exceptions is when I'm on a group tour. Since I travel on my own, I try and connect with a couple of people that I think I may have something in common with. We usually hit it off and we then try and look after each other for the rest of the trip. Also keep in touch with them after the trip.

  5. I agree. Again, I have no problem about attacking the content of posts. I too think those posts are inappropriate considering people who have had to deal with cancer - and that includes me. My suggestion to Olddaddy - don't try to defend those posts. Just stop it and move on to something else.

  6. Got into Suvarnabhumi yesterday afternoon around 2 pm. Amazing. Hardly any queue at immigration, at most 2 or 3 persons. In my lane, I walked straight up to the booth. The majority of the passport counters were manned, but not 100%. Luggage collection wasn't too bad. Had to wait about 15-20 minutes, which is average or above average for most airports.

  8. Thank you so much for that natural high. You just sent a rush of endorphins up my spine, into my shoulders and down my triceps. They've never reached so far before. They usually stop at the base of my neck, at that ridge really good masseurs know how to hit and how to keep coming back to. I read a lot of gay romance novels and while doing so often imagine myself authoring one. I do have some material to work with, as you might imagine. Shall I start with the latest? I'm in Pattaya, by the way. I think I've bitched and moaned on this site about how much I hate Pattaya (except during Songkran). I think I've reminded everybody how filthy Pattaya is, how it's a constant death match between all the diesel exhaust-spewing tourist buses and my lungs, and how its heyday was sometime when I was partying in DJ Station like it was (actually) 1999. So why did I come back? Because I'm a bit of an addict and can't stand the the thought that while I'm in Bangkok the twink of my dreams — he's super thin, barely 20, maybe a bit effeminate but with ridged abs that don't give way when you rap your knuckles against them — might be be an hour and a half away in Chonburi, half naked, on a stage flashing intoxicating smiles at some other old dude. And besides, Bangkok has become too expensive, and something happened to DJ Station around 2008: Cute young Thais stopped going there on weeknights, like they're actually taking their futures more seriously. So knowing there is little excitement in Bangkok until Friday, I have taken a Bolt taxi to Pattaya (thanks much for the tip about this new app, everyone). Cut to the chase (a full trip report that starts on Friday, Nov. 25, will get it's own thread. Hopefully I can upload some videos of that night). It's now Tuesday night, two nights after I made a go-go bar crawl through Boyz Town only to find … well I felt like I was walking through a dystopian version of Boyz Town. Tonight, Tuesday, is also one night after I headed to Jomtien, ran into an old friend and became dizzy with the reactor's worth of energy and good vibes that the Super Complex now generates. Jomtien has much more on-the-street excitement than Boyz Town ever did. OK, back from that tangent, tonight's also the night before I head back to Bangkok. I'm expecting to bar hop. A shot of tequila here, a shot of tequila down the soi, a shot of tequila around the corner and down the way from the sad, boarded up Penthouse Hotel. I start in the go-go bar on the same soi as Boyz Boyz Boyz, the first one on the left as you enter the soi from Second Road. I had actually poked my head in this bar on Sunday night. No customers in the seats and no one resembling a twink on stage. Pass. But this night, my last in Pattaya, isn't going to be about shopping for nonexistent twinks. It's about killing some time, going into a few bars, ordering a drink at each, having one of the guys on stage sit with me and forcing him to have a Google Translate conversation with me by buying him a drink. So I take my seat and … that twink who doesn't exist is staring at me. This is when I usually freeze up. But before I left my hotel I promised myself to channel my inner-Eddie. Eddie used to live in Tokyo, too. We kind of knew each other. We also ran into each other in Pattaya and Jomtien on a couple consecutive New Year's vacations. He was in his 60s at the time and had no compunction against approaching anyone who caught his eye. One day on Jomtien he walked up to one of the most darling teenagers you could possibly imagine. Eddie called him “Chicken Boy” because he was going up and down the beach selling chicken. With his mother. Eddie disregarded the parental presence, walked up the the kid (I'm sure he was of legal age) and gave Chicken Boy his deets. The next day on the beach the kid came by with his chicken and mother and couldn't stop smiling at Eddie. “Yeh,” Eddie explained, “he called my hotel. I had the receptionist translate. We arranged for him to come to my room this morning. He has a beautiful cut cock. I couldn't help wrapping my lips around it. He came in my mouth in a few seconds. He had never had sex before. Then he came in my mouth again a couple minutes later.” This memory going though my head, I immediately ask the twink who really, really does exist to come sit with me. I pay him a bribe of vodka and Coke, and we chat via Google Translate. Me: What's your name? Me: Nodding my head as though I understand what he says. Me: Where are you from? Barely legal boy with the great smile: Cambodia. Me: How long have you been in Thailand? Barely legal boy with the great smile: Two weeks. By this point both of us have an arm wrapped around the other, and barely legal boy gives a genuine impression that he's enjoying himself. I'm loving it. He has a perfectly chiseled body. Hard lats forming a V from his shoulders to his waist and rock-hard muscles running down either side of his spine. He uses his hand to encourage my hand to further explore his supple skin. It is at his point I feel the need to ask a stupid question: Me: Are you gay? OH MY FUCKING GOD! I CAN'T BELIVE I JUST ASKED THAT! He's so obviously gay! Barely legal boy with the great smile: No. What the fuck? He's not gay but he's physically encouraging me to caress his Adonis-like body? I'm still really happy to be with Barely Legal Boy, though I know nothing can happen between us. I'm a top, and gay-for-pay guys are never bottoms, right? I guess my original plan of quickly hopping from one bar to another is back on. But I still haven't finished my tequila, and and Barely Legal Boy has barely touched his cocktail. So I'm gonna stay right here with my right arm wrapped around a young man who's being extraordinarily kind to me. So … how do I keep the conversation going and my disappointment from showing? Is there a small-talk question I haven't gotten out of the way yet? Well, yeh, the obvious one. Me: How old are you? Barely legal boy with the great smile: 25. Me: I was gonna guess 17. Barely Legal Boy: (Smiles) Thank you, but it's true. You can ask my brother. He's right there. (Points to my left). I turn and look and my eyes can't believe it. There's an even younger man with a family resemblance but even better looking than Barely Legal Boy. Oh, and he also has a smile that makes me melt. Me: (How come two nights ago I thought Heaven was a dystopia?) Does your brother also drink vodka and Cokes? Barely legal boy obviously in cahoots with his younger brother: He does if I tell him to. Shall we call him over? Me: (Adjusting my crotch in the mistaken belief that I can hide my tremendous hard-on; fail miserably). Um, OK. Me: Your brother says he's 25. You look like you're 16. Brother who speaks good English and can converse without the help of a smartphone: No, he's 28, and I'm 26. Do you want to see my passport? Me: No, if you say your passport says you're 26, I believe you. Younger, cuter brother: I have a picture of my passport on my smartphone. Look. I look. Birth year listed as 1996. So what am I going to believe? his government-issued ID or my judgment based on the lack of lines anywhere on his face? I drop the subject as the brothers converse in Khmer. More drinking ensues. It turns out that the 26-year-old — the younger brother — is gay, has been in Pattaya for a year and recently recruited his straight brother. Yeh, I needed several seconds to allow this to compute, too. Now both of my arms arms are full. I never did make it to another Boyz Town bar. The younger brother agreed to return to my hotel with me if I take his older brother home tomorrow night. It's at this point in our bargaining session that I remember this thread — right here on this forum — and my pre-vacation promise to myself to ask a particular question. So I turn to the straight brother and ask: Are you a good kisser? He instantly smiles and pulls my head to his. He's gotten something to prove and doesn't care if his brother and coworkers are spectating. Yep, I'm convinced and try to pull away three times but Older Brother doesn't let me. Actually, maybe that endorphin rush was the result of the night I just had. Oh, and I'm also staying in Pattaya one more night.

  11. Personally I doubt it - just as I doubt the original "rumour" as printed in Thaiger. The World Cup is huge in Ecuador. That their national players could be bribed seems utterly far fetched. Like all "secret' arrangements, it would have come out and the players lives would certainly have been in danger. Not that Qatar has been immune from bribery on a massive scale in respect of the World Cup. There is no doubt that political and financial interests seriously affected the bidding process. Qatar would never have been awarded the tournament without a great deal of cash changing hands. FIFA itself was then a den of corruption - and may still be, although to a lesser extent now that Sheik Blatter is out of the picture. If not, how was it that many involved in FIFA itself and the bidding committee in particular ended up under criminal indictments in various countries or even in jail? Why FIFA departed from usual practice by awarding two tournaments in 2010 - 2018 and 2022 - instead of just 2018 started the rotten smell of corruption. That the first should be be in Russia was less controversial than the second to Qatar, a state with few stadiums, far from enough hotels, a tiny population for a World Cup and strict anti-alcohol and anti-gay laws. Encouraging the development of mass soccer in a host country has always been FIFA's stated priority. Hence the USA got the Cup in 1994 and it was split between Japan and South Korea in 2002. Since 2010, the world has learned some of the extent of Qatar's massive efforts to get the tournament when it should never, if only as a result of its tiny size, have even been considered.

  12. Gents, even if you are convinced Olddaddy is a troll, I hope posts on this board will not digress into personal attacks. I have always been opposed to personal attacks. Let Trump be the personal attacker - I hope nobody here wants to take a lesson from him. Your decision of course, but in my opinion personal attacks demean a board. There are many ways to get rid of trolls without resorting to those tactics.

I returned from my Taipei trip last night. Frankly, to anyone worried about covid testing and quarantine - forget it. The whole trip was a breeze. I took China Airlines. We had to wear masks on the flight other than when eating the meal. No preflight checks at all. On arrival, every passenger was given a box of 4 self-test covid kits. You are supposed to test yourself in your hotel on arrival and then every two days. If your test is negative, you just throw the test kit away in the enclosed plastic bag. No need to report to anyone. You do get a note with your kit with the number fo call if you test positive. I never did and so just threw it away. Throughout the country, it is mandatory to wear masks other then when eating, drinking, attending a sauna or hot spring. I never saw anyone without a mask on public transport or in the malls or when walking on the streets. From the accents I heard, there were a lot of European tourists. I went to two hot springs, the gay one and one more upmarket one in a top hotel. Only saw one guy wear a mask there - and he looked pretty stupid. For anyone wanting to get to the hot spring frequented mosrly by gay guys, the name card for the taxi is posted above. Since there are about 10 hot springs close together and the taxi will drop you about 100 meters away, you can spot Huang Tzu with this sign at the entrance. Price remains NT$250 and you need two NT$10 cooins for the locker. The Red House was busy at the week-ends. One bar had a party with this enticing sign at the entrance - For my last Saturday, there was heavy rain and with most of the bars being outdoors albeit with canvas roofs there were not many customers around. If the weather is fine, the eye candy can be spectacular! Prices for the mid to lower end hotels seem to be slightly less than 3 years ago. I had no trouble bringing guests to the rooms I had in two different hotels, but then I did not have anyone stay overight. I cannot imagine it being a problem other than in the very top end establishments.

My friends and I often went to a public bath, even though we all had baths and showers at home. People go there to enjoy the social atmosphere. Many just go to look at naked guys, with the well-endowed ones walking around flaunting their wares. A public bath near a university is always a good bet. If you go to a public bath or a hot spring and want to go into the really hot pool, here's a little tip - slowly lower yourself into the water and then sit perfectly still. Don't move at all and very soon you will stop feeling the heat. The hot pool is especially good in winter because you come out pink and your body is thoroughly heated through. It means you can walk home in the cold and not feel a thing. I'm off to Japan next month with a friend and I can't wait to introduce him to the joys of the public bath.

  19. I must say I have often found no use for social media but for the past few months I didn't go out a lot and I started following some sexy lads from OnlyFans on Twitter and Instagram. I did not expect a great deal but I have now met up with three of the OnlyFans guys that I wanted to meet and had a great time. They were fun and great sex and while not really "working", they were willing to earn some extra income from a nice easy going old man. One I have seen a few times and will be a regular for sure. I also love watching this videos online which is quite exciting for me. So, for anyone who thought it was not possible to meet those OnlyFans or Twitter guys, think again. It is possible (with a lot of patience and time).

  21. This is second part of my trip to SE Asia. First part was very short visit to Thailand reported already here : https://www.gayguides.com/forums/topic/38515-shortest-trip-ever-but-still-blood-pressure-rising-report/ First thing I did in the airport was to collect my luggage which arrived only day later and I instructed them to keep it there as I will be able to collect it on departure. Process went very smoothly and only when I was reunited with my goods clouds appeared on horizon : my 10.30 am flight to Phnom Penh did not appear anywhere on the screen. Upon visiting ThaiViet Jet counter I learned that it’s postponed till 17.30 so after brief consultation with myself I decided to toss that ticket and but new one for next available flight which was with Bangkok Airways at twice the price. Within hour I was on the plane though and landed in PP shortly after 1 so that splurge gave me an additional half day of time there. I had electronic visa so all went smoothly, exchanged 20 $ for 80 000 riels to have some change , collected my luggage , purchased SIM card for 8$ for 16 days and went to the taxi counter to splurge 9$ on tuk-tuk to the hotel. There are cheaper options like bus or catching tuk-tuk- outside of airport but I decided NOT to play Scrooge as amounts involved are very minor (to keep things in perspective where I live taxi from airport is 32 $ and I live walking distance from the airport). I was in PP three days staying in Saravoan Royal Palace hotel in close vicinity of National Museum. Street 178, right beside Blu Chili bar which I did not visit by the way. Talk about wasted opportunities. Can recommend that hotel and will return as they say. I like to stay close to main attractions of place I’m visiting. They close gates at night but there was night guard so poor guy was waked up by me at 2 am every night, tipped him 2 $ or 10000 riels each time for his troubles. Went around the city by foot or tuk-tuk 1-2 $ each time . As before riels and dollars are fully interchangeable at rate 4000 to 1$ and you can pay in either. Changing money is easy and rates vary very little. Make sure your dollars notes , if any are not torn nor have ant writings on them. They seem to be vary particular about that and I got returned 1 $ bill with 1 mm tear. I reported my arrival to Christian PFC who happened to be there , by coincidence living in hotel on the same street and shortly he visited me to shake hands and then we went for a dinner to restaurant he recommended. In the evening I went alone to search for Space Hair , barber turning into host bar at night They don’t have go-go bars , Space Hair is a host bar. Bar is located on 136 str , famous for girl bars , right beside Sun and Moon hotel. I had problems finding it as for some reason I though is opposite hotel but no, is right beside. Gay flag is proudly displayed. There are several hosts there who are willing to have a drink or few drinks with you but are not offable in Thai sense. Yes you can tactfully arrange to meet at least some of them after hours. There are also three cute dogs who were not inclined to extract any drinks. They open at 8pm and close at 2 am. I spent all 3 evenings there having two permanent drinking companions plus occasional one from time to time . Nothing rough but I had bit of discreet but fruitful survey under the table at their invitation / encouragement. Drinks are from 3.50 / beer / to 6 / red wine / , worth it as one of my boys admitted it makes him horny and not after long I could see and feel the proof, again discretely. Unfortunately that guy was not available to go with customer , God is my witness I tried daily or rather nightly. Still he was a ton of pleasant fun and I think I liked him the most from all guys I met on that trip. Another of my hosts turned more amendable , on my last night with a bit of drama I managed to convince to visit me in my room. Drama because we left separately and only then I got Line message from him asking about my hotel and instructing me to wait for him in front of it. This gives you an idea how discrete whole thing is. I spent 50-70 $ on drinks for boys nightly and don’t regret it at all which is surprising myself as I’m not bar person. They are not nagging you for drinks and when treated with one are not in rush to gulp it and leave but when they finish one they may leave your table unless you treat them with next one. What I liked about that bar is that guys were keeping track of what we had and on one of nights actually noticed that I was charged for some drinks they did not had, impressive and about 8 $ savings. As for massage places three I visited were HECO and two Hatha Khmer locations. HECO is right behind royal palace so walking distance from my hotel , hey had only 2 boys on duty when I was there but that was enough , I was happy with one I picked up. Massage is costly at 20$ but I liked experience , tipped boy also 20 $ When you google for Hatha Khmer you may receive 3 locations. 330 street, 350 and 368. Visited all three but at 368 was nothing at address indicated , asked locals and they told me that shop moved to 330 street which I visited as well. Both 330 and 350 streets are in vicinity of infamous Tuol Sleng Genocide prison museum so easy to get to as every driver knows the place. 330 is short street and Hatha Khmer is located at opposite end from prison , on your left going toward it. There’s sign but it’s bit discreet so watch out , entry is like a bit of garden. Inside behind the glass were several hunks, massage was 15 $ , I tipped guy whole 40 $ which probably was well above going rate but I was happy with experience. Location on 350 street is sauna and massage. That is street bordering prison from south and is much longer , Hatha Khmer is on stretch between prison and main street on your left going from prison . There’s no sign but is quite prominent poster showing handsome hunk, entry looks loke covered parking lot or garage with sauna entry deep inside. I just asked attendant and he pointed me toward staircase. It was mid day and no boy was on duty but they told me they can bring one in 5 minutes and that was exactly what happened. Massage 12 $ , I tipped 30 $ , session was good but bit rushed toward end, it’s why lower tip. In PP massages they expect you to be showered already and in none shower was offered after massage even if they had facilities. They simply wiped all oil clean with the towels . Facilities were clean and boys smelling immaculate so nothing to be apprehensive about . I liked 330 location the best out those 3 even if presence of that infamous prison nearby was for me a bit chilling. I was in Phnom Penh in 2001 and change to the urban landscape was positive and monumental. I was surprised by number of high rises built in meantime , streets were much cleaner , parks spruced up, Central Market and railway station renovated. It appeared also to be much safer than expected , at least twice I left Space Hair at 2 am and walked to my hotel from 136th street to 178th undisturbed at all. I visited National Museum, very pleasant affair few steps from my hotel but sadly Royal Palace with it’s Silver Pagoda was still closed for a Covid apparently. Climbed Wat Phnom hill , visited several temples and Wat Ounalom and Russian Market as a tourist program and three days in Phnom Penh went fast. Then I went for a week to Siem Reap which will be reported separately.

  26. Still on the subject of the World Cup, where is the man who succeeded the corrupt Blatter, Blatter being an individual who started his career selling women's underwear and who has encouraged women players to wear much sexier, skimpy shorts to attract more spectators? Giovanni Infantino was thought to be a nameless bureaucrat who would clean up the game. A lawyer by training, he has consistently stayed in the background when it came to Qatar's not following FIFA rules. He did nothing to help the tens of thousands of migrant workers who worked for slave wages and many of whom died building all the new soccer stadia required to host the World Cup. He has said nothing about compensation for those who died. He has said amost nothing about gay visitors. He has banned players from using armbands promoting equality of the sexes by threatening those who did so with virtual bans from playing in the tournament. This is a man in the pocket of the Qataris.(In his 20s he could speak Arabic!) At his one press conference on the eve of the tournament, he gave a 50 minute monologue about there being nothing to accuse the Qataris about. Instead he claimed Europe should spend the next 3,000 years apologisiing for all the wrongs it did to other peoples on the planet over the orevious 3,000 years. Clearly FIFA has yet another idiot in charge. Whether he is corrupt or not, remains to be seen. Given the corruption rife throughout FIFA, I suspect @Olddaddy will soon place a bet that Infantino will be up on some criminal charge sooner rather than later.

What you describe was very common in Japan in the decades following WWII when communal bathing was virtually the norm. With its vast economic gains, most homes soon had private bathing facilities. There are still communal bathing facilities but they are relatively few nowadays. Hot springs in Japan, Korea and Taiwan are very different. You shower and thoroughly cleanse yourself before getting into one of the pools. These will have varying temperatures from extremely hot to freezing cold. Most guys seem to favour the moderately hot and cool pools. But once you have got used to the extremely hot pool, it's almost as though you fail to feel the heat and instead get a pleasant muscle massage.

None is exclusively gay - and definitely not the one at the expensive hotel. Occasionally you will stil see a father with a couple of his kids at Huang Tzu. It's rare in my experience, but I have seen it. And let me stress again, these are not saunas, even though most have a small lit sauna and a steam room. If you stay after midnight, there may be a bit of action in the steam room. But your problem then is getting back to the city. The subway closes just before midnight and getting a taxi is far from easy. There is a telephone line to a taxi company at the front desk (where no one speaks English!) but good luck trying to find anyone on the line to speak English. You will then have a long trek up a steep hill to the main road and unless you are prepared to wait a very long time for a night bus, you'll have a walk downhill about 2kms before you come to built up areas which might have roaming taxis. Your best hope is to chat with a guy who got there by motorbike and who will give you a lift back down the hill. Alternatively, walk across the bridge to Chuang Tang, make them think you have been at their Spring and ask them to call a taxi. They do understand a little English and I used them to call cabs in the old days when I patronised that Spring. That Spring across the llttle bridge used to be the one which gays patronised. When the ownership changed about 8 years ago, gays became much less welcome. Then there was one nearer the main road named Huang Ding (the one you refer to, I assume) which seemed totally gay oriented. There was always action in the steam room and in a darkish area in the level below. For about 3 years it would be packed. Then it was closed by the authorities because it had consistently taken no notice of warnings about the poor quality of the water. Much to the disappoitnment of the gay community, it never reopened. Gay guys then migrated to Huang Tzu nearer the bottom of the hill. Yes, I do like the crowd there. I reckon about 90% of the clientele is gay - most in their 20s/30s and in good physical shape. Many will go in groups but there will still be lots of guys on their own. Unsually chatting is not difficult as most will speak at least some English. I have several times set up meets for another day.

    The W Hotel Bangkok?

I have stayed at the W a few times, I never have problems with guests at any of the Marriott properties. W is nice, has a really good cocktail lounge, restaurant next to it is great, guest friendly, nice rooms but the standard rooms are smaller than average. My main problem with W is the location, it's not a major problem but I think there are better options around. /SO Bangkok has rooms with baths, Le Meridien also has rooms and suites with baths, Crowne Plaza is another good option in the area.

So instead of going to a doctor you’ve self diagnosed and prescribed yourself vitamin C…?

    Introduction

After a few texts back and forth, the guy confirmed that he would come to meet me on the next day Tuesday. Then he sent me some of his pictures saying that those were his most recent ones and he wanted to make sure I was aware of what i was going to get. I had to admit that there were some noticeable changes to his physical appearance even in the pictures but my excitement blurred my vision. Before all of this, my friend (my neighbor to the North) and I had made plans to go to Mahanakhon on the next day with his guest. Now that my man of dreams was coming, I had to ask my friend to make some changes to our original itinerary. Fourth day - Tuesday ❤️ To my surprise, when i woke up on Tuesday early morning, a Line message was already waiting for me. The guy was already on his way from Pattaya to BKK. This was the guy whom i was having to wait for years to meet. This was the guy for whom i had to keep harassing mamasan on my every single trip. Now he is on his way to me. I could feel my heart beats in my throat. I took one of the longest showers of my life in anticipation of arrival of my extraordinary guest. He kept me posted along his trip. Finally the wait was over! He is finally under my eyes in my room. He took a quick shower. after his shower, before we headed out to meet my friend and his guest, I made sure to study the anatomy of his body - the body that i was so curious about for years. we had a couple of hours to ourselves before we met my friend and his guest for lunch. Finally my curiosity was quenched. We had plans to spend the rest of the day with my friend and his guest. After meeting my friend and his guest downstairs on the first floor, four of us headed out happily for lunch.

    Suvarnabhumi; the latest

I'd imagine there isn't really a surplus of baggage service providers waiting to step in and take over, so firing this company is likely to make things even worse. I guess maybe the minister has a brother waiting for a big government contract. This seems like it would be a good job unless of course the company isn't paying the workers a living wage in which case the shortage of workers would not be a surprise.

    Are you sociable ?

very few, but I don't intrude on people. Most people who want to be left alone give off a vibe that is pretty easy to see. and I dont walk up to a table and "hey, how are you, I'm an american, can I sit with you, look at the abs on that twink, would love to eat his ass! how about you?" I'll chat with the bartender, then make a comment in your direction.. if I can get a smile out of you, then I will chat some with you.

Did you hear about BOLT? I'm told their rates are much better than GRAB in Bangkok. Here in Pattaya, BOLT has destroyed GRAB. Everyone uses BOLT. I would be interested to know the BOLT situation in Bangkok now. I will be heading up there next week myself.

  46. I used these 2 resources to travel in 2020-2021-2022 https://www.kayak.co.uk/travel-restrictions? https://www.skyscanner.net/travel-restrictions I managed to travel 3 continents on a permanent bases without any unnecessary injections thought-out the covid bullshit. They are still regularly updated and should provide you with the information you need in regard to flights, transits and arrival information for most countries in the world.

  47. You're kind of confirming what I thought you meant. The trouble is that both your "outright gay" and "normal" definitions contain two conditions each. What if one condition applies and the other does not apply? Let me describe the scenarios and you try to work them out: Senso and Arena might be your first ("oh, please God, no!") type. The boys line up in front of you and you choose one of them. I think they will have a minimum tip though I haven't been to either since Covid. However the outside of the shop is quite discrete, and no boys are hanging out front (though in Arena's case, they might be one or two outside on the balcony taking a smoke). But in Senso's case - as I recall, though other posters may update us - there s a rainbow flag out front. So, are these two "outright gay" places, by your definition? KK Massage and Sawatdee Massage do not have boys sitting out front. Nor do they even have boys lining up in front of you, or behind one-way mirrors, inside the shop. Nonetheless, you're expected to choose your masseur (from photos) and there is a minimum tip. Does this make them "outright gay"? Green Massage on Surawong and Paradis on Silom both have boys (and almost always boys) sitting out front. They may hail you as you walk past ("You want massage, sir?"). They kind of self-select rather than you choose the masseur and the price board does not indicate any minimum tip. However, both are on busy streets with lots of passers-by, and anyone seeing a male customer go into a shop with a male service provider will easily draw the conclusion that the customer is gay. (heterosexual customers generally choose shops with women masseuses out front). Not just passers-by, they usually would have other customers getting a foot massage in the downstairs lounge who have nothing better to do than to eye and judge every other customer walking in. In other words, the sexual orientation of the customer is actually much more visible to the public in such a shop as opposed to, say, Arena or Senso. The masseur may or may not do anything erotic inside the massage room. If they do choose to provide extra services, they may enter into a price negotiation with you inside the room halfway through the massage since no minimum tip was indicated by management. Some of us dislike such interruption. In any case, because of the constraints of three-quarter height partitions in some establishments, leading to loss of auditory privacy, they may not want to do insertive sex. Would Green and Pradis be "outright gay" places or "normal" places by your reckoning? (also, they almost never have in-room showers). Olivia Massage on both Surawong and Silom have a mix of men and women sitting out front. They therefore do not look like exclusively gay male establishments. However, it becomes even more starkly obvious that even when women are available out front, the customer is still walking in with a male service provider. "Aha, that's a gay bloke". Both are on busy streets with foot massage lounges on the ground floor. All the other issues I mentioned above (negotiation in situ, lack of auditory privacy, no in-room showers) also apply here. So - "outright gay" or "normal"? In short, why not use an app, and make sure the hotel does not have a joiner fee policy. But wait, the people in the lobby will see you having a male visitor....

    Anal cancer

I am in the anal cancer screening (once a year) since I have abnormal cells (AIN 1,2). Sample from the anal wall (specialised surgeon will take it) must be inspected in lab to confirm pre-cancer or cancer cells, there may be nothing visible. Anal cancer is rare, science is not aligned how to treat them in pre-cancer stage (like abnormal cells) some even question why then to screen those abnormal cells. If it develops into cancer, then treatment is standard. I dont see or feel anything, its really game on the cell level. My doc said if they develop further he removes them with laser. They may come back or not.
