    Hi Guys!

IMHO not at all, but the only choice we have is either to enter+pay or not step foot in a bar at all. However, to be fair, 500 is not the price of the beer. It is a combo price for the following: 1. The beer. 2. The waiter's effort bringing it to you and watching you like a hawk for the rest of the evening in case you leave without settling the tab ("check bin"). 3. The gogo boys' pittance of a salary for being there on stage. 4. The extra allowances paid to those boys who participate in shows. 5. Your share of rent and utilities. 6. Your share of the brown envelope money that even permits the bar to operate the way it does. 7. Costs of other staff such as the DJ who does not know what tolerable volume level means. 8. Management profit. All the above add up to 250 baht, which would be more or less what the girl gogo bars charge. It is 500 baht because each customer who steps into a boy bar has to pay the share of the missing customer who, having seen the fast declining quality of the boys and their undress (less undressed than before), the boring shows, and the escalating prices, have since stopped to the bars or much less frequently than before. If not for paying the share of the missing customer, there won't be enough revenue to keep the bars going. Enjoy 😛

    Hi Guys!

I get the nervousness, but it isn't that scary. The only real "danger" is you'll get charged more than average if they sense you're naïve. Hopefully some locals will offer up more current details. Have fun. I love the city.

  3. From The Nation Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin made an unannounced check of operations at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Saturday and found the arrival and departure passenger procedures were still disappointing. Srettha announced on his X account on Saturday night that he had made another surprise inspection at Suvarnabhumi Airport on Saturday evening to follow up on his first unannounced inspection on February 5 in the morning. “I came to check the service systems at Suvarnabhumi Airport without informing the airport in advance after I made a similar check in the morning. So, today I came to check in the evening and there were plenty of passengers,” Srettha posted on his X page. The prime minister said he found that both the arrival and departure procedures were too long. “I counted the time since a passenger got off a vehicle and entered the check-in system and passed through the security system to reach his terminal to wait for boarding. “And for arrivals, I counted from passengers' exiting their plane and coming to the immigration counters. I checked all the procedures in detail and found that they took a long time.” Srettha said that he had asked the officials in charge if they could reduce the time taken. “The answer was that the processing time was uncertain,” Srettha said. “This has to be improved urgently,” the prime minister added. Srettha said he would like the executives of both the Airports of Thailand Plc and the Immigration Bureau to go out to check the procedures during the peak hours by themselves so that they could find out what caused the bottleneck. “I’ll make a surprise check at the airport to check the procedures in detail again,” Srettha said in the post .

    Hi Guys!

I'm a 32-year-old residing on the sunny island of Singapore in Southeast Asia. I'm considering a trip to Bangkok in April. I'd be interested in arranging a meet-up to visit a gogoboys bar together (I'm a bit hesitant to go alone), or we could also grab lunch or dinner together. I'm eager to gain insight into the gogoboys bar culture, including the dos and don'ts.

  10. After visiting Israel in Israel Donald and Mercedes could pop across to Turkiye to say "hi" to its president and new bestie, Victor Orban. They could then invite Victor to come to America. They could stay at one of Trump's successful hotels or casinos. Oh, wait......... “The Trump Taj Mahal, which was built and owned by President Trump, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1991. The Trump Plaza, the Trump Castle, and the Plaza Hotel, all owned by President Trump at the time, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992. THCR, which was founded by President Trump in 1995, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2004. Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc., the new name given to Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts after its 2004 bankruptcy, declared bankruptcy in 2009.” Never mind. He could make it up to Orban by offering his grandkids places in Trump University. Oh, wait........ "Trump University, founded by President Trump in 2005, ceased operations in 2011 amid lawsuits and investigations regarding the company’s business practices." Never mind. He could console Orban with a nice steak, washed down by a glass of Trump vodka. Oh, wait.... "Trump Vodka, a brand of vodka produced by Drinks Americas under license from the Trump Organization, was introduced in 2005 and discontinued in 2011.” "Trump Steaks, a brand of steak and other meats founded by President Trump in 2007, discontinued sales two months after its launch.” I know! Trump could organise for Orban to have a holiday in Thighland on his way back home. If he is he's not too keen on that, he could go to Boston for a few days on Trump Airlines. On, wait..... "GoTrump.com, a travel site founded by President Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007." "Two years after he launched Trump Shuttle, the airline wasn’t making enough money to even cover the $1 million monthly interest payment on his loan. Trump ultimately defaulted, surrendering ownership of the airline to his creditors." As a parting souvenir of his time with the Trump's, he could go home with one of Trump: The Game boardgames. Oh, wait.... "Despite its flashy TV ad, the game sold only 800,000 copies — less than half the 2 million units the company expected to move. When it was discontinued in 1990, Trump chalked the game’s dismal sales up to the fact that it might have been “too complicated.” Oh.....well how about a few copies of Trump Magazine. They'd make good reading on the long flight home. Oh, wait.... That business folded in 2009. Mmmm.....maybe Orban should decline Trump's invitation and visit his mate, Putin, instead. Afterall, apparently he'd just have to walk across the border straight into Russia. ............................................. Yep, those magamaniacs - each one a 'stable genius' -sure know how to pick 'em!

I’m sure this and other derails will come out on appeal. i still believe that she willfully decided to speed with the knowledge that the consequences could indeed be fatal. And I’m satisfied that qualifies as afore thought.

  12. “On the topic of homophobia in Russia,” a believer out of nowhere insists that he knows better than the locals what is happening in my country. The situation itself is absurd. You can also write to the Eskimos that you know better how to build an igloo, to the Arabs that you know better how to breed camels. Well, or tell the Thais something about how to grow rice properly. And, since your favorite habit is getting personal (see above), I’ll allow myself once to explain the situation to you in your language. Your naive self-confidence that you know better what is happening in my country is second only to your proud stupidity in which you accept at face value what your media tells you.

  13. Summary Definitely and by far sightseeing’s high point was Sukhotai and Kampheang Phet. Fact that my friend K decided to go with me doubled that travel fun. Angkor and environs were second, because all those places I already visited in the past but Cambodian ruins have such pull on me that I can visit there to no end. I’m glad I went to Phuket, finally I know how it is there and may return in future if only to explore gay scene bit more energetically than I did this time. I beat my cousin to James Bond Island , that counts for plenty as well. As for boys I did not get anybody I regretted to engage. With few some improvement could be used but there were no antics like leaving suddenly out of blue (ok there was one case but I let it go for reason explained ) . It looks that engaging tried and tested pays big time and if we meet winner it’s good to keep him close like I did with both PP and Pattaya guys, new to me. S was great travel companion and I’m glad I had him with me in Siem Reap and by my side every few days in Bangkok. Y knows I like him and shows his appreciation every time we met. NM surprisingly showed his romantic side and both Tawan guys I offed facilitated steamiest nights I had in whole month. All 7 guys mentioned above had one endearing trait, none of them asked for any extras other than agreed. When we dined their choices were modest. I liked that . I don’t mind to open purse but don’t like to be treated as money well. Some quotations this trip were excessive, certainly boys are trying to cash in. With one exception I managed to keep their tips within my budget, bargaining down when necessary. Only case I yielded I treated as last of our many meeting in the past and can’t see repeat in the future. It was one upsetting disappointment , right in the beginning, indifferent look of Jupiter guy , veteran of many offs. But I guess all comers to an end, even customer loyalty and client’s infatuation . And two regrets, both for lack of time . I should off that Tawan waiter at least once more. I never thought I will be regretting not offing the twink but here I am. And I did not gave a chance to two Banana Club guys , Vu Thy and new #31. I think I know where my first steps next trip will be. Now you guys can vent your frustrations with me “ who the fuck writes such long and convoluted trip reports ? Screw you vinapu!

Yes, I have a holiday home in Goa, and have travelled around extensively. There is lots of sex on offer, most for free, as young Indians have a thing for white skin, and having sex with a "European ". Grindr is very active. In the big cities the first 50 will be within around 500metres. Do ensure you use protection, as disease is on the increase in India. Several of the big cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata and Hyderabad have weekly gay events/clubbing which you will find advertised on Grindr or just ask. Most guys are pretty polite and discreet however, so do bear that in mind. Lots of offers for massage 💆‍♂️ on the apps too.

  17. In your desperation, you're now clowning around with betting odds (🥳) as a predictor of election success -- more than nine months before the election. 🤡 The funniest thing about your poll? Michelle Obama is is in third place with 9% of the poll! 😎 Here's the truth about betting polls, which you don't seem to understand or even know: A quick note on presidential election odds: this betting market often can act as a sort of wish fulfillment for people's political leanings. There is nothing that indicates Michelle Obama should have the third-best odds to win the 2024 presidential election, but that's the case. As you'll see below, she also has the second-best odds to win the 2024 Democratic nomination for president. That's a reflection of how the money has come in on this particular market, as things can get kind of weird the further down the presidential election odds board you go.

As macaroni said above you have choice. At least you will have beer, if you order bottle of water it still will be the same 500. Banana Club in soi 4 has lower drink prices, not sure it's 300 or 400 . Speaking about choice , old KLM joke ; Stewardess is asking passenger " will you have a lunch?", ' do I have a choice ?" , ' yes , yes or no". I guess the same about visiting go-go bar

  20. When I arrived in beginning of January I was very pleased with speed immigration line was moving , This is what I reported in my thread: " .... arrived at 17.40. Immigration line was hair rising but speed was world beating. It was second longest I saw in BKK ever and still with all booths opened and personnel wisely directing internationals even to “ASEAN or Thai only” booths when they were free it moved shockingly fast." On departure though, early morning , like 5.30 am, lines for passport check were too long and moving too slow but reason was clear, more booths were unstaffed than staffed. World's best procedures on departure are in USA and Canada where you just check into flight and go, forget about stamping or checking you out. On arrivals there it's completely different story though.

  26. In my reading of those laws, the intention must be to kill someone, not to speed. Therefore, someone who reacts impulsively by killing someone upon discovering his spouse having sex with someone else is guilty of 2nd degree murder (the behavior was impulsive and without premeditation, but with the intent to kill the victim). In fact, that's the exact example given for 2nd degree murder. What the perpetrator did in this case was horrific and egregious, but she was not trying to kill the children, as wontonly reckless as her behavior was. One can make a case for voluntary manslaughter and/or vehicular manslaughter, but this did not meet the definition of murder. My sense is that the jury was incensed (as I am) of the defendant's refusal to accept responsibility for the deaths. I would have supported convictions for voluntary manslaughter, with maximal, consecutive sentences for each wrongful death. I understand (and share) the anger, but it seems the law was not followed here. We should not let our feelings get in the way with applying the law as it's written.

  29. Two long articles that go in different directions. Both of which - or all of which - are probably partially true. You don't have to read either, @EmmetK. We all know facts and analysis are not your thing. The GOP Is Burning Bridges With Young Voters for Generations—Thanks to Trump That rings true. The main reason it rings true is simply an objective fact. Young voters proved by voting that they are repulsed by Trump, MAGA, and the ideas they represent. Put abortion and climate change at the top of the list. They not only proved that in November 2020. They have proved it in basically every election at every level of government since. The young Wisconsin voters who changed the state's Supreme Court because of abortion don't seem likely to suddenly want Trump in office . So he can try some kind of national abortion ban by executive decree. So it seems unlikely that young voters who carried Biden to victory in 2020 and are now pissed at him, in particular for being "Genocide Joe" to Bibi Netanyahu's mad bomber, are going to vote for Trump. But this goes to the heart of all your incorrect thinking about polls, @EmmetK. There are two different but related things happening. In Biden/Trump matchups, Trump is now winning. Why? In large part because young voters are either not supporting Biden, or saying they will support Trump. Then when you add more names - RFK, West, Stein - it's the same thing. The polls that add all the names make what is really happening the clearest. When they are given five choices, not two, young voters in particular don't support Trump any more than exit polls say they supported him in 2020. Which is to say, young people are wildly opposed to Trump, as the author above says. At the same time, it's becoming clearer and clearer that young voters don't like Joe Biden and what his administration is doing. The destruction of Gaza and the killing of 30,000 Palestinians has clearly been a tipping point. Polls are now screaming it, consistently. So they say they will vote for RFK, or West, or Stein. When you subtract Biden's vote, it makes Trump's lead bigger But, either way, there is no question that Trump is now slightly leading in national polls for the first time. And there is no question that it is specifically because of young voters who specifically wanted to get rid of Trump in 2020. But are now either sour with Biden, or simply done with Biden. The big thing we don't know is exactly how deep the animosity toward Biden and his policies goes among young voters. It seems very likely that is a work in progress. And Democrats should be deeply worried. This second article is long and all over the map. But it is probably mostly correct for that reason. Whatever is happening in the polls right now, it is complicated. And probably no one knows or can predict what it actually means for November. What Democrats’ panic over young voters misses It is shocking that since October there's been a series of polls saying Trump is now tied or even slightly ahead of Biden with the young voters who nailed Trump's coffin shut by huge margins in 2020. As the article notes, such huge swings among particular voting cohorts rarely happen. And need to be viewed with skepticism. It is easy for me to get my mind around why young voters are repulsed by Biden's support for what they see as genocide in Gaza. It's harder for me to believe that the same voters would elect Trump. Who will give Bibi a blank check to kill as many Palestinians as he wants. The fact that many of the young voters who elected Biden have shifted from being disappointed in him to being repulsed by him doesn't make Trump any less repulsive to them, as the Gen Z author above argues. I think there are three things that are relatively certain at this point. First, the levels of support currently shown for RFK, Stein, and West are not going to hold. That was my point above. That Vox article basically says that every polling expert who knows anything about polling knows that third party support in the early stages of election cycles NEVER translates to as much support when people actually vote. So that will mostly help Biden. Many, but not all, voters who moved away from him to some other name will move back. In part because they will decide they are even more repulsed by Trump. It still could be enough to nail Biden's coffin shut, though. Just like Stein nailed Hillary's coffin shut in 2016. Thanks, Jill! Asshole! Second, this is incredibly bad news for Biden, no matter what you make of both articles. As a Democrat, I can rationalize this away easily enough. Two of my nephews expressed this view of Biden recently. They understand why Democrats are better off running with an incumbent. But they just DO NOT want this incumbent! They almost shouted it. But, as an example of low information voting, they had no idea who John Kasich is. Or why compromise-oriented Democrats like me like him. And these two are very smart college graduates. So I can only imagine what young voters who get their information off Tik Tok know. Or, more importantly, don't know. So it is very easy for me to believe some pollster calls some Gen Z voter (if they ever answer their phone) who is pissed at "Genocide Joe". And they say they will vote for RFK or Stein or West - or even Trump. But once Biden reminds them that Trump's SCOTUS killed his student loan cancellation plan, and that Trump would be better to Bibi and worse to Palestinians, and that Trump mostly wants tax breaks to billionaires and abortion bans, that may change. Who the fuck knows, really? Nobody knows, really. But it is a monumental roll of the dice on the part of Biden and Democrats to assume young voters don't really mean it. Because they do really mean it. They did nail Trump's coffin shut in 2020. In 2024 they could take the nails out of the coffin and make him President again. They don't even have to vote for Trump, which I think is unlikely. They just have to vote third party. Or, most likely, not vote at all. Third, this is exactly why I think Allan Lichtman will once again be right in the end. One of his main messages is that the polls are fickle. And that what matters is the fundamentals. This is a textbook example of it. We know for a fact that in every election since 1984 polls at one point or another showed either the Democrat or Republican winning. Including in 2016, when a few polls on a good day did show Trump with a tiny lead. And yet somehow Lichtman got it right every time - with a small caveat about Gore in 2000, who did win the popular vote and lost by a handful of votes in one state that are still kind of an historical black hole. If I go with Lichtman's correct bets so far, and I had to bet $100,000 today, I'd bet it on Biden. Mostly because, as of February 2024, it seems like the fundamentals - as Lichtman outlines them - are on Biden's side. Another way of saying it is that polls based on low information young voters who get their news off Tik Tok probably are very fickle. They could easily change again six months from now. Both articles are right that the election hasn't really started. When we get to the part where we talk about how Trump killed Roe v. Wade, and how he wants abortion bans and a firm policy of climate change denial, that may change how many young people feel. But both articles seem spot on about young voters who are not at all enamored of EITHER political party. As a Democrat, I mostly view this as a good wake up call. And Gaza is a perfect example. It's understandable that Biden making vague statements about caution while 30,000 Palestinians, mostly women and kids, are slaughtered is just not going to cut it as policy. Either Democrats decide they're willing to take one for Bibi. Or they have to pay attention to why young voters have a deepening feeling of repulsion from Biden. Even if it is mostly based on what they see on Tik Tok. The repulsion over Gaza is a fact. But it's also a symbol for all the other ways Democrats (or Republicans, but not Trump) are going to have to work harder to win and keep the votes of Millennials and Gen Z. By coming up with policies and accomplishments that they actually like, and are not repulsed by.

I booked only 2 nights before heading to Chiang Mai by bus and regretted I didn't stay more. Phuket is a waste of time for gay activity I visited first time at 2000 there was a huge gay Beach with lots of boys hanging there and Paradise Complex was packed with gay go go bars clubs and open bars all is gone also the apps are hopeless . If you are for tourist purposes it's enjoyable destination but as for gay activities it's not what it used to be in the past. I won't return in the near future.

  41. Day 27 last In the morning we released some steam before going for breakfast and then parted ways. Today is my last day so I went to buy couple packs of my favorite Khao Son 3-in-1 coffee to take home to last me till next trip . Otherwise decided to take it easy before long trek home . At 3 pm I expected NM, massage guy, tried and tested before for a visit . He showed up on time. We always have good time but today we had REALLY good time, he let me to see his romantic side a bit. So happy I was that he mentioned he would like to go to see what he called ‘ sky walk ‘ atop Mahanakhon , steps from my hotel , I jumped into suggestion and after we were done I told him we are going there. You should see his smile. It was Sunday afternoon and it was pretty crowded on the top, I’d venture it was most crowded of my at least 20 visits there but there was still room for us. At least NM was brave enough to step on the glass without any fuss and took 2 zillions pictures to make his friends jealous I guess. I showed him the 75th floor washroom with the view as well. Both happy then we went to G’Bangkok for my last supper. Not necessarily best idea because I sensed NM did not like farang food he ordered. My fault , I should warn him where we are going. I returned to my room to start packing. True to form for last few trips I wanted Y to be my last so contacted him to ask if he will be working tonight. Answer was bit non-standard ‘ yes but for a time I don’t accept long time anymore” . Whatever reason was it fit my schedule so to speak as I was planning to leave at 4 am anyways so told him ST is ok tonight and at 9.pm was in Moonlight already. It was quite empty , soon Y joined me and explained reason for rejecting LT. Has girlfriend now and she want his to be home at decent hour knowing he works till 2 am. Explained him why it will work perfect to night and off we went straight to the room as none of us was hungry. It was fitting conclusion of such long , varied and successful trip and we had fun. Around midnight phone rung, lady voice was heard and Y responded something. When they finished he smiled broadly and said he has permission to stay till 3. Couldn’t work better. After he left, at 3 am on the dot indeed – that girl must hold his balls tightly , I finished packing, made last tea and just before 4 left my room. There was taxi just passing by so I stopped her but it turned out it was ordered by two guys from other side of soi. This being Bangkok another one appeared right after. He wanted 500 to airport. Since I was in mood I agreed but was smart enough to tell him ‘ you pay the tolls”. Everything went smoothly in the airport and at Narita’s connection so all looked as happy homecoming but it was not. Before going to be I decided to eat something , opened my fridge and got hit with some unpleasant stench . At one point at my absence she decided to call her 19 years service done. So I had some cleaning to do but still marveled at quality of the seals. In about 1 hr I was in I did not sense anything, no wonder my cousin taking care about my flower did not notice anything either. Anyways it was not nice to be hit with need to buy new one following morning, Now, when I look at my fridge I smile as it reminds me such great trip and my longest so far to SE Asia.

  45. Many years ago someone asked me for some water from my water bottle, on the street, which I thought was strange. My Brazilian friend said to me, Robert...you don't know what it's like to be hungry/thirty and nothing to do about it....when you're hungry/thirsty, you just go buy something....not everyone can, this was eye opening.

  46. That's probably because you have never been hungry enough. I am sure you have been horny enough to ask for something from someone you did not know. 😇

I stayed at Dickman several years ago. Room was huge. It's a fairly low-key place and serves a mixed clientele. But I did have a "massage" with one of the guys on staff. It was fine for a basic sex massage. Overall it was quite laid back. Sri Lanka is a beautiful place with very nice people. I've been twice and did trips around the island with a guide/driver. There's lots to see if you are interested in history and/or nature. Last time I was there was just as everything was getting shut down due to covid so I had to cut my trip short by a few days and race to the airport.

The usual apps are filled with paid guys, beware as most use very old or fake pics. Have only had one good encounter with youthful early 20 something top guy in Delhi area. He has since disappeared. I am headed back this weekend for a week for work, I’m sure my Grindr will explode with messages again. Lots of them without pic or want sextext only.
